The current Conservative leader hasn’t minded lifting a few pages from Maxime Bernier’s People’s Party of Canada — globalist conspiracies included — but he hasn’t joined the “no mass immigration” chorus of the Bernier crowd.

Sorry Star, people don’t blame immigrants for the housing crisis they blame our corrupt political class, their crony capitalist pals and their lickspittle journalist hirelings.

A deplorables moment? Questioning mass immigration makes you part of the “Bernier Crowd” according to Delacourt who works for the corporate welfare parasite Toronto Star. After all, it’s racist to resist having your economic and physical security sacrificed for the corporate bottom line.

Average asking rent hit a record high of $2,078 in July: report

The Canadian rental market has reached a new record, with the average asking rent surging to $2,078 in July.

This marks an 8.9 per cent annual increase, the most rapid growth seen in three months, according to a new report from Rentals.ca. This coincides with a 1.8 per cent rise in average asking rents in Canada from June, representing the most substantial month-over-month growth observed in the past eight months.

The Trudeau government doesn’t care about rural Canada

KAMOURASKA, QUE.—The summer is almost over, and with it, the massive retreat of urban visitors from the rural areas that are Canada’s summer playgrounds. I see them from June until now on the Trans-Canada Highway nearby, the Ontario licence plates speeding east to Atlantic Canada, or returning back. They may be tourists who decided to pass on Maine or Massachusetts this year, or they are folks from “down home” visiting family and friends before returning “upalong.”

This is self evident in light of the housing crisis Trudeau’s liberal party created and its “effort” to solve it.

The Liberals will not back down on their mass immigration scam which according to their top thinkers will make everyone richer by making everyone poorer.

They know mass immigration will continue to drive up the cost of rent and home ownership.

They also know that no magic wand exists to create new housing and it will be many years before supply meets demand.

The increase in costs is naturally higher in urban centres that attract the most immigrants.

Unfortunately demand is so great the increase in housing costs has spread far beyond urban borders and now small towns feel the same pressures city dwellers do.

However the large urban centres like The GTA and Montreal also happen to be Liberal Party strongholds.

Strongholds they’ll need in order to form yet another minority government with Sell-Out Singh.

Do you think the Liberals are going to trash the Home Equity their most consistent supporters have accrued?

Desperate calls by schools to urge local homeowners to rent out their rooms; students paying $650 a month to live three-to-a room in college towns boasting monthly rents upward of $2,000; a viral TikTok video purports to show an international student living under a bridge in Scarborough, Ont.

Housing is a complicated issue. It will take co-ordination, cash, and time to fix. But in the short term, there is at least one glaringly obvious – if surely controversial – way to help ease the challenge of finding affordable rental accommodation: We need to stop issuing so many international student visas.

Ottawa offers millions more in housing support to shelter refugees in Toronto

The federal government is injecting additional funding to help Toronto shelter a surge of newly arrived asylum seekers.

After weeks of bickering between Ottawa and city officials over who should foot the bill, Ottawa announced Tuesday an extra $97 million in new funding to help house refugees, many of whom have been camping outside Toronto’s homeless service centre on Peter Street.

According to the city, refugees currently make up a third of Toronto’s 9,000 shelter spaces.

Suspected MS-13 gang members arrested in shooting of man north of Toronto

Three men have been charged in connection with a brazen drive-by shooting north of Toronto that seriously injured a man who was out walking his dog in February, York Regional Police said on Friday.

Carlos Ricardo Gutierrez, 27, Carlos Pena Torrez, 34, and Kenny Banchon Urbina, 30, all of Toronto, have been charged with a string of offences, including attempted murder and conspiracy to commit murder.

Port of Vancouver has not retreated from its position of terminating the fireworks.

In both cases, the decisions to cancel were made not by elected officials but unelected bureaucrats who decided Canada Day had become a source of controversy and July 1 should become something else other than recognizing Canada’s sovereignty, history, and heritage.

According to a recent story in The Globe and Mail, since 2016, Canada has grown at nearly double the average rate of its G7 peers.

In most cases, however, it isn’t newborns enhancing our population growth but adults coming to Canada through our immigration and refugee program – a fact that has consequences far and wide.

As Canadian immigration reaches the highest levels seen in its history, a Radio-Canada investigation has publish allegations that the surge may have been heavily influenced by a U.S.-founded consultancy that has collected more than $60 million from the Trudeau government.

McKinsey & Co. — a multi-billion dollar global consultancy firm with five locations in Canada —only scored the occasional contract with the Canadian federal government in the years preceding the 2015 election of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

The answer is yes,  the Banana Republic of Canada’s  immigration policy is a welfare program designed to benefit the corporate class not citizens.

You would think that Pierre Poilievre and Jagmeet Singh would be up in arms at this revelation. Forget it, they’re in on the mass-immigration scam.

The wonder is that this story even saw the light of day on English CBC and didn’t remain buried on Quebec’s Radio-Canada.

Mass immigration is not a savior of the economy and immigrants age so if you believe the lie that they’ll be paying for your pension then congratulations on buying into the Ponzi scheme.

Trudeau has outsourced Canada’s destructive immigration policy to corporate interests according to Radio-Canada

The value of one consulting firm’s federal contracts has skyrocketed under the Trudeau government

McKinsey’s influence over Canadian immigration policy has grown in recent years without the public’s knowledge, according to two sources within IRCC. Both spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly.

The consulting firm McKinsey & Company has seen the amount of money it earns from federal contracts explode since Prime Minister Justin Trudeau came to power — to the point where some suggest it may have a central role in shaping Canada’s immigration policies.

A Radio-Canada investigation also learned the private consulting firm’s influence is raising concerns within the federal public service.

According to public accounts data from Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC), the Liberals spent 30 times more money on McKinsey’s services than Stephen Harper’s Conservatives did.

Imagine that, the CBC picking up on what this blog and its readers have been saying for years.
