Carney to Canada: Fck You! Corporate Canada Needs To Hire Imported Foreigners to Depress Wages

LILLEY: Carney says no to scrapping TFWs but program must change

… When the Liberals implemented the changes that effectively took the guardrails off the TFW program, Canada’s national unemployment rate stood at 5.1%. That unemployment rate has steadily increased as the Liberals in Ottawa put the TFW program on steroids, opened up work permits for international students and brought in more than 190,000 asylum seekers last year, most of whom were granted work permits in short order.

Teenage workers hit hard by tech disruption, ̷p̷o̷p̷u̷l̷a̷t̷i̷o̷n̷ ̷g̷r̷o̷w̷t̷h̷ societally destructive immigration policy: Desjardins

OTTAWA – A new report argues the rise of gig work, artificial intelligence and rapid population growth are souring job prospects for Canada’s youngest workers.

The Desjardins Economics report, released Thursday, comes as Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre cites decades-high youth unemployment levels to attack an immigration program for temporary foreign workers.

Statistics Canada’s latest labour force survey shows the unemployment rate for young people aged 15 to 24 hit 14.6 per cent in July — a nearly 15-year high outside of the COVID-19 pandemic.

‘Population growth’, just another bullshit term used to gaslight Canadians.

The Crumbling of Cologne’s Multicultural Consensus

Last week, news of a round-table agreement banning criticism of immigration in Cologne made headlines—not least because it caught the attention of Elon Musk. Seven parties, from the center-right Christian Democrats (CDU) to the SPD, Greens, and Left Party, had signed the so-called Fairness Agreement, pledging not to criticize asylum seekers or migrants during election campaigns. The agreement has existed since 2017, but now, ahead of the municipal elections on September 14th, it has finally cracked.

Toronto real estate: This is how much you need to make to afford a one-bedroom apartment

A new report is sounding the alarm on unaffordable rent in Toronto, pointing out that despite a softening of prices in the rental market, one- and two-bedroom apartments remain out of reach for many workers.

The report, Making Rent: The CCPA’s rental wage update 2024, was released Thursday by the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives. It looks at the “rental wage”—the hourly wage needed to afford rent while working a standard 40-hour week and spending 30 per cent of income on housing—for one- and two-bedroom units in 62 Canadian cities.

It found that Toronto and Vancouver top the list when it comes to unaffordable rental housing.

Someone working full time would need to make almost $38 an hour in order to afford a one-bedroom apartment in those cities. That works out to an annual salary of around $78,000.

Pierre Poilievre’s call to scrap the temporary foreign worker program marks new, tougher stance for Conservatives

OTTAWA—Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre is calling on Mark Carney’s Liberals to ditch the federal government’s decades-old temporary foreign worker program, taking a harder stance against a program he’s previously said should be reduced, not axed outright.

The reason why, Poilievre said Wednesday, is because of worsening youth unemployment, rather than a Liberal-induced “immigration crisis” he has claimed has weakened both the economy and security of the country.

“The individual temporary foreign workers, the workers themselves, they are not bad people. They are not the problem. They are being taken advantage of by Liberal corporate leaders who want to use them to drive down wages,” Poilievre said at a news conference in Mississauga.

Netherlands Weighs Pepper Spray After Migrant Murder of Teen

The Dutch justice minister is considering lifting the country’s decades-old ban on pepper spray after the murder of a 17-year-old girl by an asylum seeker ignited public anger over immigration and the government’s failure to protect its citizens.

Justice Minister David van Weel told parliament he is exploring whether civilians, particularly women, should be allowed to carry pepper spray for self-defence. The small canisters, which temporarily disable attackers, are currently classed as prohibited weapons under Dutch law. Possession can result in hefty fines or even a criminal record.

Conservatives to name and shame companies using TFW’s

Conservative Party leader Pierre Poilievre confirmed his party’s intention to put pressure on companies using siginficant amount of TFW’s by “naming and shaming” them.

Speaking to reporters in Mississauga ON. on Wednesday, Poilievre and Shadow Immigration Minister Michelle Rempel Garner reiterated their opposition to the Temporary Foreign Worker program, stating that companies relying on the system prioritize corporate profits over Canadian jobs.

REMPEL GARNER: Temporary Foreign Worker Program must be abolished

Once upon a time not so long ago, if you were a young Canadian, you could learn vital skills in an entry-level job, and earn enough to pay for school while saving. In return, employers would benefit from a skilled, productive domestic labour workforce.

But that agreement has been broken, as evidenced by Canada’s staggering youth unemployment and the countless gut-punching stories about young Canadians who have put out hundreds of resumes without getting as much as a single callback.

‘Western democracy at risk without asylum reform’

The “existence of western democracies” is in peril without fundamental reforms to the European asylum system, one of Germany’s most eminent legal figures has warned.

Hans-Jürgen Papier was previously the most senior judge in the country, which became a European standard bearer for liberal immigration policy. Papier said the current rules had opened the floodgates to “uncontrolled and unconditional immigration” and needed to be radically revised before the public lost faith in conventional politics.

Unfortunately people like Hans are more afraid of losing access to the trough than they are of mass immigration from incompatible cultures.

The only thing that scares them more is the AfD.

What We Know About ‘Careless’ Discharging of Firearms in Muskoka Area

Videos of men in the Ontario countryside haphazardly discharging firearms, some of which are now prohibited, have gone viral online, and police said they’re investigating.
“Many of you have seen the videos circulating on social media showing individuals discharging firearms in a careless and unsafe manner. We have as well, and have been investigating for some time,” Sgt. Joe Brisebois of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) said in a video released on Aug. 30.

There is no flood of newcomers anymore, Mr. Poilievre

Canada’s population has stopped growing.

That’s an important point to remember when you hear Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre complain that immigration is “out of control” and people are pouring into the country.

The Globe splits hairs to make it sound like Canada is short of unskilled 3rd World migrants from incompatible cultures.

Pressure Building in UK

I make no predictions when it comes to social movements because they are unpredictable, at least when USAID isn’t funding a “color revolution.”

But if I were Keir Starmer, I would be talking to my doctor about anti-anxiety meds and treatments for chronic migraines, because it sure looks like the pressure is building on the migrant issue.

Ten years after Alan Kurdi’s photo prompted an outpouring, experts fear a loss of empathy for refugees

The photo of the body of a two-year-old Syrian boy, who drowned during his family’s tragic quest for a new life, led to an outpouring of grief around the world when it was published 10 years ago on Tuesday.

The image of Alan Kurdi lying face down on a beach near the fashionable Turkish resort of Bodrum became a shocking symbol of the plight of refugees, awakening the world to the dangers desperate people were willing to confront to find sanctuary.

Garbage by anti-western propagandists. Only western states are asked to commit suicide via a flood of 3rd World benefit seekers.

Mark Carney joins in a shameful Canadian tradition

When Mayor Olivia Chow recently revealed that the federal government is preparing to shortchange Toronto on funding to provide shelter for refugees — to the tune of more than $100 million this year — many of us likely felt a sense of déjà vu.

Didn’t we go through this with the last guy? As the number of refugees in the shelter system ballooned under former prime minister Justin Trudeau (from 530 per night in 2021 to more than 5,000 per night in 2025), the feds hemmed and hawed and tried to pass the buck while refugees slept on sidewalks and Toronto’s established homeless population was squeezed into tent cities. Chow’s budget chief, Shelley Carroll, even threatened a civic Trudeau Tax Levy. Finally, in 2024, Trudeau came around.
