An evangelical Christian teacher who was jailed for refusing court orders faces a disciplinary hearing after ‘verbally abusing a Judge’.
Enoch Burke launched into an outburst during his High Court appearance last week.
He was jailed in 2022 for breaching a High Court injunction ordering him to stay away from Wilson Hospital School in County Westmeath.
The teacher was suspended after he refused to refer to a pupil as their preferred pronoun.
That courtroom needs more than abusing.
A trans woman has been helped to breastfeed her grandchild, in what is thought to be a world first.
The unidentified 50-year-old was helped to express up to 30ml of milk at a time, after a four week course of hormone treatment.
Researchers from Duke University reported the woman ‘lactated for a total of two weeks’ and was able to feed the four-month-old baby.

French Senators want to ban gender transition treatments for under-18s, after a report described sex reassignment in minors as potentially “one of the greatest ethical scandals in the history of medicine”.
The report, commissioned by the opposition centre-Right Les Republicains (LR) party, documents various practices by health professionals, which it claims are indoctrinated by a “trans-affirmative” ideology under the sway of experienced trans-activist associations.
The report, which cites a “tense scientific and medical debate”, accuses such associations of encouraging gender transition in minors via intense propaganda campaigns on social media.
Doctors’ groups across Canada are urging the provinces not to interfere with “evidence-based” medical treatment of children with gender dysphoria.
But others say what little evidence exists points to using caution and restricting treatments for minors, and that Canada’s medical leaders are ignoring shifting trends in gender-affirming care.

Children, in their view, have a right to transition, and any obstacle placed in their way, even by parents, is a gross injustice crying out for redress.

An event intended to teach acceptance and inclusivity to children was upended Saturday when a small group of protesters barged into St. Catharines Public Library and launched hate-filled tirades.
Fewer than 10 protesters created a spectacle during a Drag Queen Storytime held at the downtown library branch, which saw the group storm into the program room during the morning event, screaming and yelling profanities in front of young children, accusing adults in attendance of pedophilia and child grooming.

The World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) promotes its standards of care (SOC) as a lodestar for the treatment of gender dysphoria. Its devotion to the “affirmation” transition model for gender-confused children, involving rapid introduction to hormones and surgery that allegedly prevent suicide, have long dictated policy in hospitals, health authorities and medical schools, including those in Canada.
