Somali rapper Twista Cheese charged under new Online Safety Act with ‘making video threat to Tommy Robinson’

A rapper is due to appear in court tomorrow in connection with a video in which threats involving firearms were allegedly made against activist Tommy Robinson.

Omar Abdirizak, 30, from Sparkbrook, Birmingham, is one of the first people in the UK to face new charges under the Online Safety Act.

Update: He says: “Tommy Robinson I got a message for you … (I’m) from Somalia and now, I’m in … the area’s called Sparkbrook. And you running your mouth off saying we are going to attack the mosques, any Muslim guys … no mate, we are gonna defend ourselves. Do you understand Tommy Robinson?”

There are then chants of Allahu Akbar from him and other men in the background. Firearms were then discussed in the video.

Tommy Robinson is copying the progressive playbook The Right has minimised the rioters’ agency

The Right has minimised the rioters’ agency

A strange and dramatic metamorphosis has happened over the last few days. On the one hand, Tommy Robinson, the Right-wing activist and former leader of the English Defence League, has shapeshifted into a Left-leaning analyst of political protest. On the other, those who formerly occupied that role have suddenly embraced the Right-coded rhetoric of moral disgust and zero-tolerance policing.

Tommy Robinson could face huge bill for unpaid tax

Tommy Robinson faces a huge bill for unpaid tax in a battle with HM Revenue & Customs over his funding.

The campaigner, branded an “armchair thug” by Yvette Cooper, the home secretary, is in dispute over whether money he received can be classified as tax-exempt donations.

If he fails to persuade the taxman, he will be asked to pay a significant amount in back tax.

Tommy Robinson ‘has fled the country’ after playing ‘libellous’ film to thousands of protesters at Trafalgar Square rally, High Court hears

Tommy Robinson has ‘fled the country’ after committing ‘flagrant’ contempt of court relating to a film played at a protest in central London, the High Court has been told.

Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, was due to appear at the Royal Courts of Justice on Monday for a hearing in his latest contempt of court case but was not in attendance.

The Solicitor General launched legal action against Robinson in June over an alleged breach of a court order after he lost a libel battle in 2021.

Tommy Robinson ‘arrested under anti-terror laws’ after march in London

Tommy Robinson has been arrested under anti-terror laws, according to his social media account.

It comes after a film was allegedly screened in contempt of court during a protest in London.

A post on X said: “We can confirm that Tommy Robinson has been detained by police using powers afforded to them under the Terrorism Act 2000.

I watched this yesterday. It is the “banned doc” that purports to show TR’s trial for libel was a “stitch up”.

I am not a lawyer, neither is Tommy but he should have had one consulting on this doc as well as an editor. I found it confusing.

Tommy Robinson could be jailed after screening banned film

The right-wing ringleader Tommy Robinson could face jail after screening a banned film to thousands of people at a “patriotic rally” in Trafalgar Square where two of his supporters were arrested.

The film shows a bullying incident at Almondbury Community School where a Syrian refugee was assaulted in a playground, and was shown on Saturday despite a judge previously ruling that it constituted contempt of court. In July 2021, Robinson, 41, was ordered to pay £100,000 plus legal costs for libelling the 15-year-old refugee, and is likely to have broken an injunction with the latest screening. On Monday he is due to appear at the High Court on the same charges. If found guilty, he could face up to two years in prison.

WTF?

Ford is a dick.

That said Tommy Robinson’s entire “Canadian tour” has been marred by controversy.

Evidently the usual suspects ratted him out to the CBSA when they got wind he would be touring Canada.

Tommy says his boss filled out the false immigration declaration stating he had no criminal convictions and this is what got him “Nicked” in Calgary.

The Edmonton and Calgary shows were not big draws as only a couple of hundred tickets were sold in total.

It may be that Tommy is a spent force, and it is a pity Ghamari was sacrificed to appease the Islamists and their allies.

A PC MPP says she was “not aware” of the history of a far-right British figure before taking a digital meeting with him to discuss the governing regime in Iran.
