Outrage as Trudeau’s justice minister compares Freedom Convoy donations to ‘terrorist financing’, says donors are part of ‘pro-Trump movement’ and threatens to FREEZE their bank accounts

Justice Minister David Lametti made the remark in an interview with CTV News Channel on Wednesday night, where host Evan Solomon pressed him on whether average citizens who donated to the protests should be worried about account seizures.

‘If you are a member of a pro-Trump movement who is donating hundreds of thousands of dollars, and millions of dollars to this kind of thing, then you ought to be worried,’ said Lametti.

No spying on Trump? 35 times Big Media lied

In his latest court filings, special counsel John Durham isn’t just taking down team Clinton’s wall of defense against charges of spying on Donald Trump during the 2016 campaign, but he’s revealing just how vigorously the liberal media worked to hold that wall up.

Over five years, news personalities on the “Big Three” networks and left-leaning cable channels repeatedly dismissed the charges. “There was no spying” was heard as often as Trump’s claim of “fake news.”

Kinzinger: ‘We Have to Recognize’ the Possibility of a Civil War with ‘Targeted Assassination, Violence’

Kinzinger said, “Because I think we have to recognize that possibility. In the past, I’ve said, oh, we don’t want to talk about it because, you know, I don’t want to make it likely. Let’s look at where we are. A civil war isn’t what it was in the 19th century. It’s not state against state, Blue against Gray. It’s going to be armed groups against armed groups, targeted assassination, violence. That’s what a 21st and 20th century Civil War is.”

200 People Have Pleaded Guilty In The Jan. 6 Insurrection. Here Are All The Cases.

WASHINGTON — Dennis Sidorski walked into the US Capitol during the Jan. 6 insurrection at 2:14 p.m., about one minute after the door he used had been kicked in and the windows around it smashed. Wearing a sweatshirt that said “AMERICAN SUPREMACIST,” the Virginia man spent the next 37 minutes making his way around the building, recording confrontations between rioters and police and exploring offices, including the suite of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

Ray Epps to sit for transcribed interview with Jan. 6 committee

Ray Epps, the Arizona man at the center of claims that FBI informants provoked the Capitol riot, is scheduled to sit down for a transcribed interview with the Jan. 6 House select committee Friday.

The select committee disclosed last Tuesday that Epps told them during an interview in November that he had no involvement with the FBI or any other law enforcement agency before, during, or after the Capitol riot. Epps’s lawyer, John Blischak, told Politico that the meeting was merely a precursor for the more formal transcribed interview scheduled to take place Friday.

Seditious Conspiracy Is the Wrong Charge in the Capitol-Riot Prosecutions

Two elements are indispensable to the crime of seditious conspiracy. First, there must be an agreement to use force, as opposed to protesting peacefully — even if rambunctiously. Second is the concept of levying war against the United States or opposing the lawful authority of the United States. Now that the Justice Department has been goaded into charging members of the Oath Keepers with seditious conspiracy for their participation in the Capitol riot, prosecutors may find that these elements pose insuperable challenges to their case.

We Are All Domestic Terrorists Now

Whether it’s Paul Hodgkins or Mitch McConnell, Democrats like Joe Biden consider all detractors an enemy of the country.

Paul Hodgkins, according to Joe Biden’s Justice Department, is a domestic terrorist.

A working-class man from Tampa, Hodgkins committed what Democrats and the media consider a murderous crime comparable to flying a packed jetliner into a skyscraper or detonating a truck filled with explosives under a crowded federal building.

Paul Hodgkins entered the Capitol building on January 6, 2021.

Guns, ammo … even a boat: how Oath Keepers plotted an armed coup

Unsealed court documents provide the most detailed account to date of the alleged level of planning by far-right militia

The seditious conspiracy charges against the leader of the Oath Keepers militia and 10 others related to the January 6 Capitol attack have revealed an armed plot against American democracy that involved tactical planning and a formidable arsenal of weapons.

Court documents unsealed on Thursday provide the most detailed account to date of the level of planning by the far-right militia in the assault on the Capitol that was aimed at scuppering the certification of Joe Biden’s election win.

The documents describe the creation of rapid-response teams of armed militia members, the deployment of tactical gear and the stockpiling of weapons in a deliberate attempt to overturn the election of Democrat Joe Biden, who beat Donald Trump.

Jan. 6 Defendant Says FBI Tried to Recruit Him to Spy on Oath Keepers

A retired U.S. Army Green Beret arrested for being at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, says the FBI tried to recruit him to spy on the Oath Keepers group a few weeks before the violence at the Capitol.

Jeremy M. Brown, 47, who is being held in the Pinellas County Jail in Florida on federal misdemeanor charges related to Jan. 6, told The Epoch Times he believes his arrest and prosecution are payback for his refusal to become a confidential informant.

Brown said he went to the “Stop the Steal” rally on Jan. 6 dressed in tactical gear to provide security for event organizers and for VIPs who spoke at the rally.

Oath Keepers Leader Charged With Seditious Conspiracy in Jan. 6 Investigation

Stewart Rhodes, the leader and founder of the far-right Oath Keepers militia, was arrested on Thursday and charged along with 10 others with seditious conspiracy for allegedly organizing a wide-ranging plot to storm the Capitol on Jan. 6 last year and disrupt the certification of Joseph R. Biden Jr.’s electoral victory.

The arrest of Mr. Rhodes, 56, was a major development in the sprawling investigation of the Capitol attack. The case against him and the other members of his group was the first time that prosecutors have filed charges of sedition against any of the more than 700 people accused so far of taking part in the assault.

Mr. Rhodes was arrested shortly before 1 p.m. at his home in Granbury, Texas, his lawyer, Jonathon Moseley, said.

The FBI refuses to deny any involvement in events on January 6

On Tuesday, Sen. Ted Cruz reminded people why they’ve appreciated his contributions to the conservative cause. Jill Sanborn, the executive assistant director for the FBI’s national security branch, appeared before the Senate to answer questions about the FBI’s role in events on January 6. Cruz grilled her with a series of questions to determine whether the FBI played a part in the events of the day, including questions about Ray Epps, a very visible presence on the day. Sanborn, instead of giving a full-throated denial, refused to answer any questions, leaving the strong impression that the FBI was behind the whole thing.

New Film ‘Capitol Punishment’ Counters Media’s Jan. 6 ‘Insurrection’ Narrative

Nick Searcy attended the Jan. 6, 2021 protests summoned by then-President Donald Trump, camera in hand.

The “Justified” star couldn’t have predicted what would happen later that day or the ensuing political earthquake.

His documentary, “Capitol Punishment,” offers a media corrective to the “insurrection” mania that gripped the press over the past year. He also lets many of the protesters speak, everyday Americans who didn’t even step foot in the Capitol building but are paying an astronomical price for suggesting the election was “stolen.”

Fact: The 2020 election was stolen.

Ray Epps

Sen. Ted Cruz on Tuesday grilled a top FBI official on whether bureau informants were present at the Jan. 6 riots — zeroing in on a man named Ray Epps.

Jill Sanborn, the FBI’s executive assistant director for the national security branch, refused to answer key questions, saying she could not disclose “sources and methods.” Sanborn said she was not aware of any FBI agents inciting violent or criminal conduct on Jan. 6.
