The opponents of U.S. President Donald Trump have been smearing him with the label fascist for years, but have always resorted to being inventive when producing the evidence.
In November 2024, American historian Timothy Snyder accused Trump of “talky fascism” and predicted he would change the system so he could remain in power until his death. Commenting last December on the Republican nomination for president in 2028, Trump said, “It’s not going to be me.”
Fresh off of cheering on Iran for how they “humiliated” President Trump by trying to kill American airmen, MS NOW’s Lawrence O’Donnell kicked off Tuesday night’s show by suggesting Adolf Hitler wasn’t as bad a leader as Trump. He went even further and suggested that America committed suicide as a civilization when voters elected Trump a second time.

The United States has collapsed into fascism. Only naiveté blocks this conclusion. And to paraphrase Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, naiveté is not a strategy.

In the heated arena of American politics, words have always been weapons. But over the past year, the left’s rhetoric has escalated to a level that not only poisons discourse but also incites violence.

This week is Anthony Anderson’s annual trip to ABC to guest host Jimmy Kimmel Live! and no such week is complete without allegations of racism being hurled at Republicans. On Tuesday, Anderson not only rattled off several racist, including Nazi, inspired parody movies and TV shows for President Trump’s new streaming service but also took aim at the Big Beautiful Bill, claiming “the only bill that’s [bleep] more young people is Belichick.”

I spent Father’s Day weekend in Hood River, Oregon, and stumbled upon the local “No Kings” anti-Trump protest. The crowd was populated mostly by Baby Boomers, who appeared to be living out a political fantasy, in which they could “stop fascism” by reenacting the protest movements of their youth. One sign, typical of the genre, derided Trump as a “felon, rapist, con man”; another riffed on Mary Poppins, reading “super callous, fragile, racist, sexist, Nazi POTUS.”
France 24 is a state-owned, taxpayer-funded TV news station that broadcasts French propaganda. That’s its explicit, intended purpose: In the leadup to its 2006 launch, then-President Jacques Chirac proclaimed, “We must have the ambition of a big, round-the-clock news channel in French, equal to the BBC or CNN for the English-speaking world. It is essential for the influence of our country.”

Now Hotez is panicked by the return of Donald Trump to the White House. A frequent guest on MSDNC, Hotez went on a rant against Trump and his appointments, and while doing so he made comments that one might or might not interpret as a threat.

Many of these articles appear to have been written by journalists who wisely avoided the menacing event and reported on it from the safety of their own basements.

When Donald Trump’s campaign announced plans for a rally at Madison Square Garden, Democrats and their media allies knew they had a problem. Trump was going to pack the house on their turf. So they wasted no time pushing the tired Hitler narrative and claimed that the choice of venue was an homage to a pro-Nazi rally held there in 1939.

Almost immediately, the left and media then pushed for the appointment of special prosecutor Robert Mueller.
He assembled a “dream team” of partisan prosecutors to prove Trump-Russian collusion.
Some 22 months later, Mueller found no evidence that Trump improperly won the 2016 election with help from any colluding Russians.
