UFOs: Few answers at rare US Congressional hearing

The first public congressional hearing into UFO sightings in the US in over 50 years ended with few answers about the unexplained phenomenon.

Two top military officials tasked with probing the sightings said that most can ultimately be identified.

But they said a number of events have defied all attempts at explanation.

The sightings recorded by the military include 11 “near-misses” with US aircraft.

Some Unexplained Aerial Phenomena (UAPs) – as the military terms UFOs – seem to have been moving without any discernible means of propulsion.

‘A Skull and Bones-type vibe’: Spy agencies grapple with how much to share at UFO hearing

Congress may need to create incentives to get national security officials to talk.

As Congress prepares to hold the first public hearing on UFOs in half a century, the Pentagon and intelligence agencies are feuding internally over how much to cooperate with demands to investigate and share what they know, according to current and former national security officials.

Pentagon officials are under increasing pressure to carry out Congress’ recent mandate to establish a permanent effort to coordinate research into reports of highly advanced aircraft of unknown origin intruding into protected airspace.

House Panel to Hold Public Hearing on UFO’s

A House subcommittee is scheduled to hold next week the first open congressional hearing on unidentified aerial vehicles in more than half a century, with testimony from two top defense intelligence officials.

The hearing comes after the release last June of a report requested by Congress on “unidentified aerial phenomena.” The nine-page “Preliminary Assessment” from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence focused on 144 incidents dating back to 2004 and was able to explain only one.

The report declined to draw inferences, saying that the available reporting was “largely inconclusive” and noting that limited and inconsistent data created a challenge in evaluating the phenomena. But it said most of the phenomena reported “do represent physical objects.”

Canadian defence minister was briefed on UFOs ahead of U.S. intel report

Ahead of the release of a much-anticipated U.S. intelligence report on aerial phenomena, former Canadian defence minister Harjit Sajjan received a briefing on UFOs.

Documents obtained by CTVNews.ca reveal the June 2021 briefing followed a flurry of mainstream media coverage about a then-upcoming report on U.S. military sightings of “unidentified aerial phenomena,” or UAP, the term American officials use for what are more commonly known as unidentified flying objects and UFOs.

“I expect I am not alone in noting the recent increase in comment regarding Unidentified Flying Objects in the media internationally, particularly in the U.S.,” Sajjan’s then-chief of staff wrote in a May 19, 2021 email to senior defence officials. “I believe it is prudent to request a full briefing for Minister Sajjan from the Canadian perspective on this issue.”

Beaming Earth’s location into space could cause an alien invasion

A message broadcast out to space revealing Earth’s location could provoke an invasion from aliens, an expert has warned.

NASA launched a basic one called Arecibo in 1974 but with better tech available today scientists want to update it.

The new spacebound note – dubbed the Beacon in the Galaxy – is the latest attempt to make contact with other lifeforms.

I dunno, this makes Earth seem desperate.

UFOs sightings have left witnesses with radiation burns, brain damage and ‘perceived time suspension’, according to Pentagon report

US intelligence officials have evidence that UFO sightings have lead to adverse health effects like radiation burns, paralysis and even brain damage, according to a newly released report from a shadowy Pentagon program that closed in 2012.

The study classifies different types of encounters with unidentified objects, including ones accompanied by sightings of ghosts, yetis or spirits and others that result in injury, death and even ‘permanent healing.’

It also includes a summary of UFO-induced effects that was compiled by a private nonprofit in 1996, ranging from the most common one – abduction – to paralysis, eye injuries, electrical shocks and even sexual encounters.

US warship was chased by two car-size ‘balls of light’ UFOs

A US Navy warship was shadowed by two car-size balls of light that were unaffected by anti-drone weapons, it is claimed.

The USS Kearsarge is the latest vessel to have reportedly had a UFO encounter as the US military begins to open up about the mysterious phenomena.

Documentary filmmaker Dave C. Beaty — who produced 2019 film “The Nimitz Encounters” about the famous 2004 US Navy encounter with the “Tic Tac” object — revealed the reported sighting from October 2021.

Report: The Pentagon is planning to classify all of the UAP Task Force UFO data

As we’ve discussed here in the past, the Pentagon’s Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP), created to study observed incidents of unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs or just UFOs), was replaced by the UAP Task Force, and then by a new office with the annoyingly unpronounceable acronym of AOIMSG. All of the congressional activity revolving around this subject over the past couple of years has suggested that we were finally going to be seeing a bit more transparency out of the military and intelligence communities in terms of what they actually know about the entire UFO situation and what, if anything, they propose to do about it.

Infrared image shows ‘Swarm’ of flashing ‘Tic-Tac shaped’ UFOs chase four US Navy destroyers and hover over them for weeks

A newly released infrared image showed a ‘swarm’ of three ‘Tic-Tac shaped’ UFOs chase four U.S. Navy destroyers off the coast of California.

The grainy image has been released by the Navy and shows what appears to be three small dots, representing unmanned aerial systems (UAS), hovering near the USS Paul Hamilton. It was one of the many occurrences Naval ships saw over the course of weeks, as many destroyers spotted these contraptions in July 2019.

These three UAS appeared near the ship around 8pm on July 17 shortly after the USS Paul Hamilton cut location broadcasting via the Automatic Identification System (AIS). Ships are not required to broadcast their location 24/7 and usually disable the transponder in situations that call for heightened security.

Ward Carrol is an ex-Navy fighter pilot, this vid does not discuss events from the article above but he is worth a listen.

‘Something’s coming’: is America finally ready to take UFOs seriously?

Last year was a breakthrough time for UFOs, as a landmark government report prompted the possibility of extraterrestrial visitors to finally be taken seriously by everyone from senators, to a former president, to the Pentagon.

But 2022 could be even more profound, experts say, as the clamor for UFO disclosure and discovery continues to grow, and as new scientific projects bring us closer than ever to – potentially – discovering non-Earth life.

In June, the Pentagon released a highly anticipated report on unexplained aerial phenomena (UAP), the now preferred nomenclature by some in the extraterrestrial community, which found more than 140 instances of UAPs that could not be explained.

Nuclear Technician Details Serious Security Breaches Involving UFOs and High Strangeness At U.S. Nuclear Base

“Nothing was ever reported. Because if you did, you might be considered mentally unstable and have your clearance and PRP status (personal reliability program) revoked.”

A former nuclear weapons technician has gone on the record for the first time to speak about disturbing security incidents he encountered at a U.S. Air Force (USAF) base, which stores nuclear weapons.

Whilst stationed at Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri, between 2003-2007, Adrian Reister claims to have witnessed two incidents involving Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) entering restricted airspace above the base and a serious security breach involving a ‘shadow person’, who Reister chased within the base.

Report reveals what would have happened if you had actually “stormed Area 51”

Back in the happier, carefree days before the pandemic arrived, in the summer of 2019, a group of UFO enthusiasts seized upon a joke posted on a comedian’s Facebook page and began cooking up a plan to “storm Area 51.” That location is, of course, the massive, top-secret military airbase located deep in the Nevada desert near Groom Lake. Online interest in the event swelled massively, with millions of people eventually signing on and indicating that they planned to participate.
