Homeland Security, FBI deploying detection tech to probe mysterious drone sighting over NJ, NY

Federal authorities have finally stepped up efforts to investigate a rash of mysterious drone sightings that have been made nightly over a growing swath of the Eastern Seaboard for nearly a month.

The Department of Homeland Security and the FBI are deploying drone detection technology and infrared cameras to determine what if any threat the unidentified flying objects pose, according to ABC News.

Ex-CIA staffer offers ‘unsettling’ theory behind drones as feds dismiss concerns as ‘overreaction’

“Now in terms of who is behind this, deducing the statements that have been made by John Kirby, who has said that these objects are not operating illegally coupled with the several op-eds that have been out the last 24 hours about the need to look at our detection systems, makes me think, perhaps, this is actually a classified exercise to test either evasion technology or detection technology in urban areas,” Ballman said.

Second suggestion that the US is looking for something that’s not supposed to be there.

Drones, planes or UFOs? Americans abuzz over mysterious New Jersey sightings

CHATHAM, N.J. (AP) — That buzzing coming out of New Jersey? It’s unclear if it’s drones or something else, but for sure the nighttime sightings are producing tons of talk, a raft of conspiracy theories and craned necks looking skyward.

Cropping up on local news and social media sites around Thanksgiving, the saga of the drones reported over New Jersey has reached incredible heights.

This week seems to have begun a new, higher-profile chapter: Lawmakers are demanding (but so far not getting) explanations from federal and state authorities about what’s behind them. Gov. Phil Murphy wrote to President Joe Biden asking for answers. New Jersey’s new senator, Andy Kim, spent Thursday night on a drone hunt in rural northern New Jersey, and posted about it on X.

Mysterious New Jersey drones appear to avoid detection by traditional methods

The large mysterious drones reported flying over parts of New Jersey in recent weeks appear to avoid detection by traditional methods such as helicopter and radio, according to a state lawmaker briefed on Wednesday by the Department of Homeland Security.

In a post on the social media platform X, the assemblywoman Dawn Fantasia described the drones as up to 6ft in diameter and sometimes traveling with their lights switched off. The Morris county Republican was among several state and local lawmakers who met with state police and homeland security officials to discuss the spate of sightings that range from the New York City area through New Jersey and westward into parts of Pennsylvania, including over Philadelphia.

The devices do not appear to be being flown by hobbyists, Fantasia wrote.

Mysterious New Jersey drone sightings prompt call for ‘state of emergency’

The mysterious reported sightings of drone clusters in the night skies over New Jersey and other parts of the US north-east has prompted frustrated outbursts from Congress members, triggering calls for a limited state of emergency to be declared over the region.

Jon Bramnick, a Republican state senator in New Jersey, has demanded a ban on all drones until the mystery is solved. ABC’s Action News reported that he called for a “limited state of emergency … until the public receives an explanation regarding these multiple sightings”.

Mystery Drones Over New Jersey Are Hot Topic at Hearing on Capitol Hill

An FBI assistant director says they have been unable to determine who or what is behind the large drones that have been puzzling New Jersey residents and officials for months.

Members of Congress are raising concerns about the mystery drones that have been spotted flying above New Jersey in recent weeks, as the aircraft of unknown origin are flying in close proximity to a military base and the president-elect’s golf club.

During a homeland security subcommittee hearing on Tuesday, the assistant director of the FBI’s critical incident response group, Robert Wheeler, says the FBI is working on their investigation with the Department of Homeland Security and local law enforcement partners. The drones started appearing above New Jersey in mid-November.

A Conversation With Rod Dreher on Living in Wonder Part 2: Daemon Ex Machina

Lincoln Brown: The churches, on the whole, outside of the Roman Catholic Church, may not be taking it seriously, but as you point out, other people are, especially in Silicon Valley. We would be surprised at who’s taking the occult seriously.

Rod Dreher: Oh yeah, absolutely, and it blends over into the whole UFO culture thing. And this is probably the most surprising thing I found in my investigation for living in wonder. You know, I’ve been a Christian for most of my life, and mysticism has always been part of my Christian walk as a Catholic and then as an Orthodox. But I never took UFOs seriously. I was just about finished with the manuscript of this book when a Catholic journalist I know in the Vatican, who covers the Vatican said, “Look, I know you don’t take it seriously. I know you laugh at this stuff, but you better start paying attention because there’s some really important spiritual things going on in the whole UFO world.”

After decades of denial, the Pentagon finally admits it’s baffled by UFOs

After nearly eight decades of official denial and obfuscation of the UFO phenomenon, the new head of the Pentagon’s UFO analysis office made a remarkable admission last month.

During a briefing with reporters, Jon Kosloski, director of the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office, admitted that the U.S. government is stumped by several “true anomalies.” According to Kosloski, “There are interesting [UFO] cases that I, with my physics and engineering background and time in the [intelligence community], I do not understand. And I don’t know anybody else who understands them either.”

Critically, the Department of Defense and intelligence agencies are so perplexed by some UFO incidents that, per Kosloski, “We’re going to need the help of academia and the public to address some of these.”

UAP and Mystery Drones More Serious Than Being Told

In recent weeks, a wave of unusual aerial phenomena has captured global attention, challenging both official explanations and conventional understanding of drone capabilities. From military installations to civilian airports, these incidents have raised significant questions about airspace security and the nature of these unidentified objects.

… This modern incident bears striking similarities to the events of July 12 and 29, 1952, when a wave of UFO sightings over Washington DC prompted military intervention. The key difference between these cases lies in the response: while the 1952 incidents saw military jets scrambling to intercept the objects (unsuccessfully), the current sightings have generated no apparent military response despite occurring in what should be some of the most closely monitored airspace in the world.

Secret Pentagon study hints at reincarnation being real after finding consciousness ‘never dies’

A study conducted by US Army Intelligence has suggested that reincarnation is real because consciousness ‘never dies.’

Entitled ‘Analysis and Assessment of The Gateway Process,’ the 29-page report was drafted by US Army Lieutenant Colonel Wayne M McDonnell in 1983 and declassified by the CIA in 2003.

The research has resurfaced on social media, with Chicago-based comedian Sara Holcomb summarizing the findings, saying: ‘We’re pretty sure reincarnation is real.

This is a weird one but I do not discount the work of Ross Coulthart. The keyword here is Psionics. The vid below features a segment from a recent Ross Coulthart video discussing research he’s been conducting on Psionics (Start at 2:41). The “Gateway Process” mentioned in the article is noted by Coulthart and he will be releasing his hypothesis in a few weeks. Many believe this may explain the UAP phenomenon.

Mysterious ‘Car-Sized Drones’ Over New Jersey Prompt FBI Investigation

Several weeks of mysterious drone swarms over the skies of one New Jersey county near the military research and manufacturing facility Picatinny Arsenal have sparked concerns among residents and prompted an FBI investigation.

“It’s kind of unsettling,” Mike Walsh, a Morris County resident who has spotted the drones on numerous occasions, told local media outlet PIX11 News.

Are the drones lighting up US bases in England something sinister?

Airspace around US airbases in Norfolk and Suffolk has been under scrutiny following multiple recent drone incursions. Those responsible for the aircraft have yet to be found and nearby residents have questioned how and why the incidents have been allowed to happen.

Drone incursions were initially reported at three US airbases – RAF Mildenhall and RAF Lakenheath in Suffolk, and RAF Feltwell in Norfolk – between 20 and 22 November, and the aircraft has since reappeared.

In the village of Beck Row, Suffolk, which is situated next to RAF Mildenhall, residents reported brightly lit aerial vehicles hovering above their houses and over the base itself.

The anti-drone tech used by UK troops to defend US military bases

Small units of British troops have been deployed to four US air force bases in the UK to operate a highly sophisticated system to detect, track and either defeat drones or find the pilots responsible.

The drones they are up against vary in size and configurations, according to the US military, and do not appear to be the work of hobbyists since their flights were co-ordinated over a series of days. They still continue to be flown in the vicinity of RAF Lakenheath, RAF Mildenhall, RAF Feltwell and RAF Fairford, according to a US air force spokesman on Wednesday morning.

Langley, Colorado and now this. More and more it’s starting to look like the US is testing its own tech. Is it breakthrough stuff?

Sixty British troops deployed to investigate drones over US airbases

Dozens of British troops have been deployed to locations across the country to try to discover who is responsible for flying drones over US air force bases amid concerns it could be part of a “sinister” plot.

A small number of drones have again been spotted flying near US air force bases in the UK after a number were seen over three bases last week.

Around 60 UK military personnel have been deployed to provide the US with assistance, according to a defence source speaking to The Times.
