Mysterious UFO drones have been spotted flying over New York City – after weeks of being photographed in New Jersey.
Staten Island Borough President Vito Fossella confirmed that the peculiar objects had been seen flying above Howland Hook Marine Terminal and the West Shore on Staten Island earlier this week.
The short audio heard flight crews on American Airlines and Spirit planes speaking with air traffic control (ATC) on the night of November 30, as they were both flying into the Dallas-Fort Worth airport.
People in the Garden State’s Morris and Somerset counties, where President-elect Donald Trump’s Bedminster golf course is located, have been notifying law enforcement since November about the mysterious flying objects, which are larger than typical hobbyist drones.
Roughly 40 miles west of New York City in Somerset County, Trump’s Bedminster private golf resort was one of his favored retreats from the White House during his first term in office. Now, residents in the area have reported repeated sightings of hundreds of aircraft resembling “small car-sized drones,” per multiple media reports.
The House Intelligence Committee’s subcommittee over counterterrorism, counterintelligence and counterproliferation will hold the hearing on May 17, according to a tweet from the subcommittee’s chairman, Rep. André Carson, D-Ind.
“Congress hasn’t held a public hearing on unidentified aerial phenomena (UFO’s) in over 50 years. That will change next week when I lead a hearing in @HouseIntel on this topic & the national security risk it poses. Americans need to know more about these unexplained occurrences,” Carson wrote on Tuesday.

The 500-plus reports spanning nearly 300 pages contain dozens of strange sightings from commercial pilots, soldiers, and police officers. (Here are some of the highlights.) Obtained by VICE World News through Canadian freedom of information laws, the reports were made to federal transportation authorities as recently as last year, when a Canadian military flight spotted a “bright green flying object” that “flew into a cloud then disappeared” over eastern Canada.

A new video has been leaked showing United States Naval personnel having a close encounter with an unidentified flying object (UFO) which appeared to be spherical and making a controlled descent into the ocean. Reportedly, the object was filmed by a camera aboard the USS Omaha as it sailed off the coast of San Diego in July 2019. In the video, which has now been shared by investigative filmmaker Jeremy Corbell on Instagram, two unidentified crew members could be heard exclaiming, “Wow, it splashed.” This was after the ‘ball’ made a flight over the ocean and then eventually splashed into the sea and then disappeared underwater.
A forthcoming government report will reveal evidence of UFOs breaking the sound barrier without a sonic boom and other “difficult to explain” phenomena, the former Director of National Intelligence said.
