Finally, a leader who’s willing to fight the culture war

Kemi Badenoch is the anti-Kamala, just the breath of fresh air the Western world needed.

Imagine if, a few years ago, you had told the wet leftists of the British establishment that one day there’d be a black woman in charge of a major political party and that they would freak out about it. That instead of celebrating this final breakthrough for race relations, these self-styled progressives would be bitterly murmuring into their muesli that ‘She’s a bit abrasive’ and ‘God help us now’. They’d have refused to believe you. Yet here we are. Kemi Badenoch has won the Conservative Party leadership contest and becomes the first black person ever to lead a major party in Britain. And the left ain’t happy.

I admit to keeping only a half an eye on the Conservative leadership race given that past results have been so disappointing.

Similar to our history with Canada’s PC’s GB’s Conservative party hasn’t been for some time instead fielding a revolving door of leaders who quickly abandoned any promises that resonated with the public.

Kemi has said lots of good things lets hope she means it.

Well that didn’t take long – Labour MP shares post saying Kemi Badenoch represents ‘white supremacy in blackface’

Kemi Badenoch wins Tory leadership election

Kemi Badenoch is the new leader of the Conservatives after defeating Robert Jenrick in a ballot of party members.

Badenoch takes over from Rishi Sunak as leader of the opposition after winning 53,806 votes against 41,388 for Jenrick, in a result announced by the party on Saturday morning.

The result, announced at an event in central London by Bob Blackman, who chairs the 1922 Committee of Conservative backbenchers, means Badenoch took slightly more than 56% of the vote, a clear though not overwhelming victory.

Great Britain Is Neither Great Nor Free, and Might Not Even Be Britain for Long

Benjamin Franklin, an Englishman born in the colonial town of Boston in 1706 but who chose to separate himself from the rule of a tyrannical British government as one of our American Founding Fathers, once wrote that “People willing to trade their freedom for temporary security deserve neither and will lose both.”

Franklin understood well the depth of the depravity that the government of his ancestors was capable of. Very little about its current manifestation would surprise him.

But the British tyranny of Franklin’s time was at least intended to serve the interests of the British people, however that might be interpreted. It’s far more difficult to make a case that this is still true.

Southport ‘attacker’ to be charged under terrorism act, in possession of Al Qaeda manual & making Ricin poison

Axel Rudakubana muslim terrorist

The teenager accused of murdering three young girls in Southport has been charged with possession of a study of an Al-Qaeda terror training manual and manufacture of the poison ricin.

Axel Rudakubana, who is charged with carrying out a knife attack at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class in July, is accused of producing ricin – a biological toxin – and keeping a handbook made by the terrorist group.

The manual, a PDF titled “Military studies in the jihad against the tyrants: The Al-Qaeda training manual” and the poison were found during a search of his home, police said.

The media is still using that ludicrous childhood photo of the little monster.

UK: Anti-Semitic hate crimes rise at eight times the rate of Islamophobia in wake of Oct 7

Speculation suggests there must be an as yet undetermined cause for this alarming spike.

Anti-Semitic hate crime rose at nearly nine times the rate of anti-Muslim offences in the wake of the October 7 Hamas terror attacks on Israel, official figures show.

The number of anti-Semitic hate crimes more than doubled, from 1,543 to 3,282 in the year to March 2024, a 113 per cent increase and the highest on record.

More than eight in 10 of the hate crimes were committed after the October 7 attack, rising from 95 recorded by police in September to 577 in October alone.

“Far-right” activists fundraising for people jailed over UK riots

Far-right activists are trying to raise funds for people jailed over their roles in the summer riots, describing them as “political prisoners”, in an attempt to generate support by giving money to their families.

More than £14,000 has been raised by a leading group, which has been promoting the start of its “gifting” of funds to families of “political prisoners”.

One of the leaders of Patriotic Alternative (PA) recently met a teenager in HMP Hull who had been jailed for racially aggravated harassment during the disturbances, his wife told supporters.

OMG! Money is being given to families of people involved in riots whom far-right groups are calling ‘political prisoners’

Two tiered policing is not a myth in the UK.

Will There Always Be an England?

Turner London 1809

There will always be an England, but only if there are Englishmen. There will only be Englishmen if Englishmen are willing to struggle for their identity as a people.

Most Americans are Anglophiles. It’s in our blood. Yes, our ancestors fought a bloody revolution to free ourselves from the British crown, but outside of the United Kingdom itself, you will find no people more eager to swoon over British royalty than Americans. More substantively, our love and admiration for the British has to do with a heady mix of Churchill, Wilberforce, Tolkien, Lennon and McCartney, and other extraordinary examples of courage, wisdom, and creativity.

Didn’t see that coming. Isn’t Jacob Rees-Mogg supposed to be a toxic reactionary type?

Britain: This Machete’d Isle

I don’t know that I’ve ever written two extra posts on the weekend, but I’m just dumbstruck by what’s happening in the UK right now, and how it’s simply not showing up at all in the US mainstream media. As most of my readers are Americans, you need to know what’s happening.

There are riots and various violent civil disturbances all over Britain right now, all having to do with ethnic and religious clashes. If you are on Twitter/X, you may be up to speed. But most people aren’t.

Britain is coming apart at the seams

Weeks of unrest have revealed tensions, anger and a collapse in social trust that can no longer be ignored.

The UK feels like a powder keg, threatening to explode at any moment. Recent events have exposed a simmering national anger and a pervasive sense that our social fabric is fraying beyond repair. Last week’s Manchester Airport altercation, the riots in Harehills, Leeds last month and the heinous murder of three innocent little girls in Southport earlier this week have all created an alarmingly volatile atmosphere.

Fears far-Right riots could erupt in a dozen cities tonight

A further wave of far-Right disruption is expected across the UK following the killings of three young girls in Southport.

Violent extremists are planning to descend on more than a dozen cities and towns in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, according to reports.

*Hope not Hate, the anti-racism charity, has warned demonstrations are being planned for London, Aldershot, Sunderland, Hull, Liverpool, Cardiff and Manchester.

Pro-Palestinian MPs become ‘sixth largest’ party in shock Labour defeats

Pro-Palestinian MPs have become effectively the sixth largest party after five independent candidates unseated Labour rivals on Thursday.

One candidate, Shockat Adam, said “this is for the people of Gaza!” after being elected the MP for Leicester South, while holding up a Palestinian keffiyeh scarf.

Another independent, Ayoub Khan, who won in Birmingham Perry Barr, had previously quit the Liberal Democrats after appearing to question the Oct 7 massacre and refusing to go on an anti-Semitism training course.

British Election: No one anticipated how many pro-Gaza independents would be elected to Parliament

The successful Muslim vote campaign is a snapshot of things to come.

Much of the focus on the 2024 general election will be on Labour’s landslide, the impressive Liberal Democrat performance, and Reform UK leader Nigel Farage finally entering the House of Commons. But the victories for a string of pro-Gaza independents should not be ignored.

While Left-wing maverick and leader of the Workers Party of Britain George Galloway failed to win in Rochdale, pro-Gaza independents elected include former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn in Islington North, Ayoub Khan in Birmingham Perry Barr, Adnan Hussain in Blackburn, Iqbal Mohamed in Dewsbury and Batley, and Shockat Adam in Leicester South (where Labour heavyweight Jonathan Ashworth was defeated). Pro-Gaza independent Leanne Mohamad nearly pulled off an astonishing win in Ilford North, where Wes Streeting now has a majority of just 528 votes.

Labour’s Keir Starmer becomes UK prime minister

Sir Keir Starmer has become the UK’s first Labour prime minister since 2010 after his party’s landslide general election victory.

Labour is returning to power with a huge parliamentary majority of 174, following a collapse in support for the Conservatives.

Sir Keir has been formally appointed by the King at Buckingham Palace, replacing Tory leader Rishi Sunak, and will soon make his first speech in Downing Street.

Nigel Farage understands the zeitgeist better than anyone – and the people of Clacton know it

In the end it was a walk-over. Having tried, and failed, on seven occasions to win a seat in Parliament, the most controversial, disruptive, and in many ways most significant, British
politician of the last 25 years finally won the opportunity to fulfil his promise to sit in the House of Commons and “make a bloody nuisance” of himself.

Wearing a mid-blue suit and tie and a Cheshire cat grin, Farage, 60, overturned a Conservative majority of 24,702 to win the Clacton seat, displaying an undisguised glee not only at his own result, but at the performance of Reform candidates across the country exceeding even Farage’s most optimistic expectations, and at the cost of the Conservative party that he clearly despises.
