Terror prosecutions of Muslims back in UK from Syria not counted

The government does not record the number of people prosecuted for terror offences after returning to the UK from Syria, an official report says.

The data is held neither “officially or unofficially”, an annual review by the independent reviewer of terrorism legislation, Jonathan Hall QC, says.

Figures previously provided to Parliament by ministers later had to be clarified.

Mr Hall’s report instead relies on BBC News research on the subject.

It is known that hundreds of people have returned to the UK after joining terrorist groups in Syria but the cumulative figure given in public is ambiguous.

Last year, the director general of MI5 said “over 950 UK-linked extremists” had travelled to Syria.

I do not trust the Trudeau government to be honest on this matter.

Prison terrorism: Warnings over failure to stop radicalisation

The prison service has failed to recognise the dangers Islamist gangs and convicted terrorists pose inside jail, a report warns.

The independent reviewer of terrorist legislation, Jonathan Hall QC, said prisons must not provide opportunities for militants to plan new attacks.

But the service had “lost its role in the national endeavour to reduce the risk of terrorism”.

The Ministry of Justice said it was committed to isolating radicalisers.

The UK on Tuesday threatened to ban Twitter altogether and potentially jail Elon Musk if he violates their incoming “Online Safety Bill” by allowing free speech on his platform.

London Mayor’s Photo-Op with Terror Apologist

British Islamist imam, Ajmal Masroor, was quick to boast on April 8 that the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, had attended his Friday sermon at the Palmers Green Mosque in North London.

A preacher at several London mosques, Masroor, however, has a long history of apologism for terrorist groups and anti-Jewish sentiments.

Writing in 2012, Masroor praised the leader of the designated terrorist organization Hamas as a “true and honest leader” who is apparently “loved by his people naturally.”

Rochdale victim: ‘I was groomed at 14, then the courts came for my children’

Her evidence helped put abusers behind bars, yet ‘Amber’ was vilified by the authorities and says her torment will never end

Between 2008 and 2010, a child abuse ring that came to be known as part of the “grooming gang” phenomenon operated in Rochdale, Greater Manchester. Girls aged between 13 and 15 were trafficked, prostituted, raped and assaulted by the gang.

One victim was forced to have sex with at least 20 men in one night; another was forced to drink vodka, and was vomiting over the side of the bed while being raped by “countless men”.

The perpetrators would pass the girls to their friends, often to settle a debt. The victims, many of whom were from difficult backgrounds and therefore particularly vulnerable, were plied with drugs, alcohol and fast food, and then taken to “chill houses” across the north of England to be abused. One 13-year-old victim became pregnant and had an abortion. Some of the men involved were arrested, tried and found guilty. But not all.

Canadians know nothing about Islam and would welcome even more Islamic migration if only we knew the truth!

An Islamic State fanatic has been found guilty of murdering Sir David Amess MP.

The Southend West MP was stabbed more than 20 times during a constituency surgery in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex on 15 October 2021.

A jury at the Old Bailey took just 18 minutes to convict Ali Harbi Ali of murder and preparing acts of terrorism.

The 26-year-old from Kentish Town, north London, had denied the charges and claimed he targeted the MP over his vote for airstrikes on Syria.

Gone to Rot – Free speech in Britain is losing ground to the “right” not to be offended

John Adams wrote that the real war for American independence was won in the hearts and minds of the people, with the help of newspapers and pamphlets, which “enlightened and informed” public opinion. Freedom of expression, which the American colonists inherited from the British liberal tradition, was thus a catalyst for the creation of a new nation. In Britain today, however, the public seems to be losing interest in such liberty: a December 2021 YouGov poll found that 43 percent of respondents valued protecting people from offensive or hateful remarks over the right to free speech.

Daughter of David Haines to confront his alleged Islamic State kidnapper in US trial

The daughter of a British man murdered by Islamic State will demand to know the whereabouts of his remains when one of his alleged kidnappers goes on trial in the US this week.

Bethany Haines, 24, will fly from her home in Perthshire, Scotland, to Virginia to confront El Shafee Elsheikh in person, nearly eight years after her father, David Haines, was killed.

Haines said she would plead with Elsheikh “to do the right thing” and reveal where the remains of her father and other western hostages lie. “Don’t do it for me,” she will tell him. “Do it for my son, so that he can finally say goodbye to his grandad.”

How Edward VIII Informed for the Nazis and Urged the ‘Severe’ Bombing of Britain

Meghan Markle, “King” Edward, Hitler

Long-standing rumors that Edward VIII aided the Nazis after being forced to abdicate have been given new credence by evidence that he passed critical information to the Germans and urged them to continue “severe bombing” of the country, paving the way for him to return as head of a puppet government.
