Burning books in central London is not an “intrinsic” public disorder, the High Court was told during an appeal for a man who burnt a Quran outside the Turkish embassy.

Hamit Coskun was found guilty of a religiously aggravated public order offence last June, after shouting “f*** Islam” and holding the flaming Islamic text aloft during a protest in Knightsbridge, on February 13 last year.

German and UK military chiefs state case for rearming

The defense chief of Germany’s Bundeswehr, General Carsten Breuer, and the United Kingdom’s chief of the defence staff, Air Chief Marshal Sir Richard Knighton, have jointly stated the case for rearming, amid the threat posed by Russia.

The top military officials penned a joint letter, published in The Guardian and German newspaper Welt, in which they said there was a “moral” case to be made for rearming.

British Jews are under threat, according to the police chief who helped foil an Islamic State-inspired massacre.

Walid Saadaoui, from Wigan, and Amar Hussein, from Bolton, planned to replicate the 2015 Paris terror attacks by targeting a Jewish community in the North West.

They bought assault rifles, handguns and hundreds of rounds of ammunition in preparation for a suicide gun attack in which they wanted to “kill as many members of the Jewish community as they could” and hoped to become “martyrs” in revenge for Israel’s actions in Gaza.

Ex-Reform MP Rupert Lowe launches new party

A former Reform UK MP, who is now serving as an independent, has launched a new political party.

Rupert Lowe, who represents Great Yarmouth in Norfolk, launched Restore Britain, which he said would be a “national political party”, on Friday night.

He initially set up Restore Britain as a “political movement” after he was suspended from Reform UK last March.

It is now expected to act as an umbrella political party, with locally based political parties as partners.

I hope it takes off. Farage is a fraud, soft to the point of surrender on Islam.

The NHS Would be Wrong to Stop Discouraging Cousin Marriage

According to the Telegraph, the NHS has been told to “stop discouraging cousin marriage”:

The National Child Mortality Database (NCMD) told NHS staff “it is unacceptable to discourage close relative marriage in a blanket way” because parents are only at a “slightly increased” risk of having a child with a genetic disorder.

It said genetic counsellors should meet the couple and their relatives to advise them on how to “consider arranging future marriages outside of the family”.

The co-leader of the group planned to make the bomb based on instructions in an Al Qaeda manual called ‘Make a bomb in the kitchen of your mom – by the Al Qaeda chef’.

A boy of 13 launched a stabbing rampage in a school on Tuesday, leaving two children fighting for their lives in a suspected terror attack.

In the middle of a classroom just before lunch, a teenager pulled out a knife and stabbed a 13-year-old boy in the neck and back while shouting ‘Allahu Akbar’, witnesses said.

Seconds later, a second boy aged 12 was knifed in front of screaming children at Kingsbury High School in Brent, north-west London.

White victims of grooming gangs ‘betrayed’ by prosecutors

Prosecutors are betraying grooming victims by failing to treat rape gang offences against white working-class girls as hate crimes, it has been claimed.

Fiona Goddard, who was repeatedly raped from the age of 14 during her time in children’s homes in Bradford in the 2000s, said it was “deeply frustrating” that the crimes were not deemed to have a racial element.

Ms Goddard, now 32, said her abusers “spoke about ‘white girls’ as people they could use, saying they needed to keep Pakistani girls ‘pure’”.

Victims have been referred to by Pakistani-Muslim abusers as “white b—h” and “trash”.

Asylum Seeker Arrested After Brutal Attack on Guards at UK Migrant Camp
