‘Woke’ companies risk inciting ‘hostile’ public, research finds

Britons ‘cynical’ and ‘tired’ of attempts by big business to force political views on employees and customers, according to Policy Exchange

Corporate culture wars are making the public “hostile”, companies have been warned as a major piece of research is launched into the rise of “woke” in the workplace.

Britons are “cynical” and “tired” of attempts by big business to force political views on employees and customers, according to Policy Exchange.

New polling by the think-tank reveals that the majority of the public (58 per cent) reject the suggestion that companies should be able to demand that their employees declare gender pronouns.

Megyn Kelly, Victor Davis Hanson discuss alleged US role in Nord Stream blast, POTUS impeachment

If the Biden administration did covertly blow up the Nord Stream pipelines, as has been alleged by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Seymour Hersh, then that would be an impeachable offense, according to Victor Davis Hanson.

Popular podcaster Megyn Kelly invited Hanson onto her show Friday to discuss a stunning new article from Hersh accusing the Biden administration of having blown up the Nord Stream pipelines last September.

Iran’s Military at the Panama Canal: Significant National Security Threat

Iran’s military presence at the Panama Canal, the major maritime chokepoint in the Western Hemisphere — which is controlled by America’s main enemy, China — is a serious national security threat to the United States in more ways than one.

The Biden administration, seemingly as usual, has been turning a blind eye to the Iran’s increasing military presence in Latin America. Its latest activities now pose a grave danger to North America’s security and US national interests.

Furries vs feminists: a new nadir for the trans lobby

Next month, followers of what is known as the ‘furry fandom’ will descend on Glasgow for the ‘ScotiaCon’ convention, Scotland’s leading get-together for furries. Furries are people who identify with and often dress as anthropomorphised cartoon animals. At a glance, you could be forgiven for thinking that furries were children’s entertainers. But please, don’t try to book one for your kid’s birthday party.

Nolte: Movie Attendance Collapses 48% over Four Very Woke Years

Between 2018 and 2022, movie theater attendance dropped in half, and I do not want to hear any excuses about the pandemic.

People will go to the theater to see a movie that appeals to them. Spider-Man: No Way Home proved this last year. Top Gun: Maverick proved it this year. Avatar: Way of the Water is proving it right now. And those are just the blockbusters.

‘People are pissed:’ Ottawa police logs describe confrontational, abusive crowds during protest

Ottawa police officers assigned to work with the convoy protesters described abusive and confrontational — but also sometimes cooperative — crowds during last winter’s blockades, according to their logs presented at the Emergencies Act inquiry.

Hundreds of pages of logs from the police liaison team were entered into evidence on Friday at the Public Order Emergency Commission, which is investigating the federal government’s decision to invoke the Emergencies Act on Feb. 14 to clear the crowds.

The document includes the date and time of the record, the officer’s last name and badge number and a brief summary of what each officer observed on a given day.

Trevor Noah manfully inflicts violence upon dead horse he just invented.

As Konstantin Kisin points out, this isn’t a thing. I want evidence that anyone in the U.K. has an issue with Sunak being Hindu. People are in despair over the ridiculous state of British politics, that true. There are plenty of problems with the guy, but I haven’t heard Rishi’s Indian descent brought up at all.

Hacks like the tragically unfunny Trevor Noah simply have nothing else to say.

Is Twitter dying? Heavy tweeters account for just 10% of its users despite generating 90% of all tweets, new internal documents reveal

In April, before launching his long-winded $44 billion takeover bid, Elon Musk posed the question: ‘Is Twitter dying?’

He may have been on the money, as new internal documents show that the social media platform has had an ‘absolute decline’ in users since the pandemic.

The report, obtained by Reuters, reveals ‘heavy tweeters’ make up less than 10 percent of the site’s monthly users, but generate 90 percent of all the content and half of the company’s revenue.

It’s dying. So is META.

A Social Media Status Update – Top social media apps are struggling after a decade of dominance.

For years, most of the conversation about social media companies was about how powerful and dominant they were.

These days? Not so much.

The tech industry has had a rough year, and social media companies have been hit especially hard. The stock price of Meta (formerly known as Facebook) has plummeted more than 60 percent. Snap, the maker of Snapchat, has fallen more than 80 percent. Layoffs and hiring freezes are common, and some companies have begun cutting their famously cushy employee perks.
