Zir has an interesting theory, which it is zir theory, which is a good theory, and this is how it goes, which is that 4-year-old girls who play with trucks don’t ask to go to “gender” “services”, but also that they are definitely not pushed by crazy parents and teachers, but they go anyway, which is good because brontosauruses are thin at one end, much, much thicker in the middle, and then thin again at the far end, and really masculine guys who decide late in life that they are actually women aren’t dodgy or anything.

Alberta premier rekindles fight against Liberal ‘clean electricity’ regulations
OTTAWA — Alberta Premier Smith vowed on Thursday to move forward with a legal challenge to Ottawa’s incoming clean electricity regulations, rekindling a fight with the just re-elected Liberal government over its decarbonization agenda.
“Today we are taking another step to protect Albertans livelihoods by challenging the constitutionality of (these) regulations in the Court of Appeal of Alberta, and we look forward to making our case,” Smith told reporters in Edmonton.

Police ‘misled minister’ about violent threats by trans protesters

The Metropolitan Police has been accused of “misleading” a minister over violent placards at a trans rights protest.
Officers from the London force told Dame Diana Johnson, the policing minister, that no threatening signs were on display at Saturday’s demonstration in Parliament Square. This led her to insist in interviews that there was no evidence the law had been broken.
In fact, several were visible, including two with hangmen and slogans such as “the only good terf is a —- one”, implying gender-critical feminists should die.
No different than in Toronto where police have surrendered to the mob.

This Is the Strongest Case for Trump’s Tariffs I’ve Heard Yet
Donald Trump’s tariff policies remain a lightning rod for debate. Democrats are sounding the alarm, warning of dire economic fallout and painting a picture of looming catastrophe.
Batya Ungar-Sargon, deputy opinion editor of Newsweek, made one of the strongest, most effective cases yet for former President Donald Trump’s tariffs during the latest episode of “Real Time with Bill Maher.” She broke down exactly why these tariffs are necessary, and by the end, she left Bill Maher flustered.
Batya Ungar-Sargon stuns Bill Maher into submission when talking about Trump’s rationale on tariffs:

Same “Canadian Super Patriots” hating Trumps tariffs shipped your jobs offshore then flooded Canada with cheap foreign labour to ensure you remained impoverished and grateful for the pittance they pay for the rest.
Canada’s Carney makes statement by choosing fellow globalist grifters, not US, for first foreign trip

Two European politicians, dressed symbolically in red and white, sent a message last week to Canada on social media declaring “we’ve got your back”.
Also signalling support was King Charles, who planted a red maple tree on the grounds of Buckingham Palace and wore his Canadian medals during a high-profile visit to a naval warship.
Canada’s new Prime Minister Mark Carney has arrived in Paris before heading to London on Monday – a day after his 60th birthday – for his first foreign visit hoping to achieve more than symbolic encouragement. He wants solid support from allies.

Serbia’s largest-ever rally sees 325,000 protest against government

Hundreds of thousands of people descended on Serbia’s capital on Saturday to protest over the deaths of 15 people in a railway station collapse.
While the government put attendance at 107,000 across Belgrade, an independent monitor said 325,000 – if not more – had gathered, making it Serbia’s largest protest ever.
The Novi Sad collapse last November has galvanised anger towards the government and President Aleksandar Vucic. Demonstrators blame corruption and corner-cutting for the loss of life.
PANIC IN BELGRADE
Chaos erupted as stun grenades were launched into the protest crowd just before the rally ended. Local media report that unknown individuals were behind the incident.

Greedy Rachel Maddow paints herself into a corner after ranting about ‘racist’ Joy Reid firing

Rachel Maddow’s rant at her MSNBC bosses about firing Joy Reid and other non-white hosts has backfired… with her fellow liberals now calling on her to resign in solidarity.
The $25 million a year host took her bosses to task live on air this week saying it was ‘disturbing’ that ‘nonwhite hosts in primetime were losing their shows.’
But Bluesky users were quick to call on the greedy Maddow to put her money where her mouth is and resign, or risk looking like a hypocrite spouting hot air.
GOLDSTEIN: Despite his denials, Carney is definitely a politician

Liberal prime-minister-in-waiting Mark Carney keeps insisting he’s not a politician, but he’s selling himself short.
Like any good Liberal politician, his position on carbon taxes is a hot mess of contradictions and on other issues he’s saying one thing to Quebec in French and another to the rest of Canada in English.
‘The Palestinian People Does Not Exist’

“The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct ‘Palestinian people’ to oppose Zionism.” — Senior PLO official Zuheir Mohsen, interviewed by James Dorsey, Trouw, March 31, 1977.

CAIRO (AP) — Powerful Arab nations on Saturday rejected U.S. President Donald Trump’s suggestion to relocate Palestinians from Gaza to neighboring Egypt and Jordan.
Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, the Palestinian Authority and the Arab League released a joint statement rejecting any plans to move Palestinians out of their territories in Gaza and the occupied West Bank.
