United Nations Chief Warns Of Global Funding Crisis Due To US Cuts

The Trump Administration’s agency audits and funding cuts have a wide spectrum of people in a panic, not just in the US but around the world. For some this is not much of a revelation; it’s been known for decades that the US taxpayer backstops numerous governments and NGOs. Without US dollars many of these organizations (and some countries) would not exist. However, seeing the beggars all come out of the woodwork at the same time to get their cut of the pie because the money is running dry is truly something to behold.

Why has America become a cash cow for the entire world?

Next, Defund the United Nations

The U.S. underwrites a variety of international organizations that make up a global deep state.

President Trump has cut funding to some egregious United Nations agencies and ordered a review of all funding for the U.N. and other international organizations. Executive orders cutting taxpayer funding for diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives and trans ideology won’t fully ensure the U.S. taxpayer isn’t paying for such programs without taking on the global deep state. These priorities are baked in to the institutional structure of international organizations that the U.S. underwrites.

In fiscal 2022, the U.S. government provided more than $21 billion to 179 international organizations and multilateral entities. The entries fill 455 pages of a State Department report. This is on top of the direct foreign aid that went to radical progressive causes via the U.S. Agency for International Development.

Allegations of Abuse, Concerns Over Funding Plague United Nations Peacekeeping Missions

Captured Hezbollah fighters testify that the terrorist group paid money to the peacekeepers to use their bases to conduct their operations.

For decades, United Nations peacekeepers have been promoted as critical civilian lifelines amid some of the world’s most harrowing conditions. Yet those who have already endured violence, displacement and poverty still fear that those deployed to protect them may only amplify their suffering.

Last month, Israel ignited international condemnation for firing on numerous bases belonging to the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon, the peacekeeping mission founded in 1978 under a Security Council resolution. While its target is Hezbollah, the Israel Defense Forces contend that the UN peacekeeping mission, largely funded by America, functioned in the pocket of the designated terrorist group.

Donald Trump is about to send the UN into meltdown

The 13 months since October 7 2023 have had a clarifying effect. No more hiding in the murk. Many people with pre-existing moral weakness or susceptibility to disinformation about Israel have since Hamas’s butcherous invasion leaned deeply and proudly into a variety of anti-Jewish positions. Ivy League college campuses, in particular, have shown their true colours. Too many have pioneered a new model of student life as a cesspit of open support for Palestinian jihadist groups.

And they say we’re the crazy ones.

Guterres, the UN’s anti-West crusader

“That thing we call the UN”.

On September 10, 1960, General de Gaulle uttered the derogatory statement above that has gone down in history books. The general refused, at the time, to finance the Blue Helmets expedition to the Congo. And above all, he could not stand to see the United Nations and its then Secretary General, Dag Hammarskjöld, interfering in the Algerian question. “Mr. H,” as he was called to avoid the difficult pronunciation of his Swedish surname, then sided with Nasser during the Suez crisis.

Canada’s peacekeeping commitments have plunged to an all-time low

In 2015, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau declared that Canada was “back” on the international stage; not long after, his government promised to “renew Canada’s commitment to United Nations peace operations,” and pledged to send significantly more personnel. That’s important for UN peacekeeping, because it is only effective when countries from around the world contribute skilled military and police officers as part of broader political efforts to resolve the underlying causes of conflicts. And of course, many conflicts cry out for military observers and peace implementation forces around the world right now.

Our armed forces are no longer fit for purpose, lets look after Canada.

How long will the UN continue to dine with the devil?

Orwell is alive and fighting alongside us.

China has secured its sixth term as a member of the United Nations Human Rights Council, becoming one of the most elected countries on the council where 64 percent of member countries are not democracies.

Iran has secured the presidency of the UN Commission on Disarmament. Then of the Human Rights Forum. Right: Iran executed 87 people in August, 29 in a single day, over 400 in a year. World record for hangings and shootings.

The United Nations is pointless, toothless and morally corrupt

It’s that most wonderful time of the year in New York. I mean of course the time when the United Nations General Assembly is in session.

There really is nothing like it. If you can’t get down a couple of blocks on foot you can at least console yourself that some African despot is holed up in his 5-star hotel.

And if you can’t cross town in a car then you can be safe in the knowledge that some Arab potentate is raiding the minibar in a hotel of their choice.

The UN’s Support for Covid Lockdowns and Vaccine Mandates Shows Why We Should All Fear its ‘Pact for the Future’

The UN Secretariat held its Summit of the Future at its headquarters in New York this week, on September 22nd-23rd. Few could number the many global summits that have been held across this nebulous grouping of entities, programmes and funds, although a list of the major ones may be found. They all focus on the noblest causes such as human rights, the environment, education, sustainable development, children and indigenous people that no one can easily oppose.

Trudeau supports this nonsense.

Most Canadians and Americans don’t trust the UN, poll finds

United Nations meets Beaver

The majority of Canadians and Americans do not trust the United Nations, according to a new poll.

The Leger survey for the Association for Canadian Studies (ACS) and the Metropolis Institute was conducted about four months after Hamas attacked Israel on Oct. 7, 2023. Since then, the UN has been under fire for its response to the attack, and for a UN agency’s alleged connections to the Hamas terrorists.

Michael Taube: It’s Time for the West to Leave the United Nations, and Form a League of Democracies

The United Nations, like its predecessor, the League of Nations, was once regarded as a noble institution. A place where different countries could discuss and debate everything from political disputes to wars and military skirmishes. While there would obviously be points of agreement and disagreement, the main goal was to find a path to peace, security, and a safer world for all of us to live in.

That was then, and this is now.

Conservative MP Leslyn Lewis says Canada needs to leave the United Nations

United Nations UN Beaver

The Prime Minister’s Office is questioning a high-profile Conservative MP’s support for a petition that seeks Canada’s withdrawal from the United Nations and its subsidiary agencies.

Leslyn Lewis, who ran for the Conservative leadership in the party’s last two leadership contests, sponsored the public petition to bring it before Parliament and is seeking signatories.

I’m sold.
