GOLDSTEIN: Jews don’t count at UN and this time Canada agreed

Only at the United Nations — and only about Israel — would the UN General Assembly call for a “ceasefire” in a war while disgracefully avoiding any mention of who and what started it.

Twice now — on Tuesday in passing a resolution calling for a “humanitarian ceasefire” in the Israel/Hamas war in Gaza — and back on Oct. 26 when it called for a “humanitarian truce” — the General Assembly deliberately avoided assigning any responsibility for the conflict to Hamas.

The UN and Israel have never gotten along

For an entity that has tried to delegitimize Israel, it has done a better job of delegitimizing itself

There’s an old joke about the United Nations having a soccer team. “But who would they play?” it goes. “Why, Israel of course.”

There may not be much humor in it, but there’s plenty of truth. Despite Israel being set up by UN vote, it has been the world’s premier forum for Israel-bashing, particularly since the country won wars of self-defense in 1967 and 1973.

Inside the UN Plan to Control Speech Online

The UN is escalating its war against ‘conspiracy theories’ and ‘misinformation’ by creating an ‘internet of trust.’

A powerful United Nations agency has unveiled a plan to regulate social media and online communication while cracking down on what it describes as “false information” and “conspiracy theories,” sparking alarm among free-speech advocates and top U.S. lawmakers.

In its 59-page report released this month, the U.N. Educational, Cultural, and Scientific Organization (UNESCO) outlined a series of “concrete measures which must be implemented by all stakeholders: governments, regulatory authorities, civil society, and the platforms themselves.”

Canada is condemning captured murderous traitors who joined ISIS to ‘life sentence,’ in Syrian camps UN rapporteur says

The UN special rapporteur on counter-terrorism and human rights says Canada is putting the lives of its citizens at risk by not helping to return them from prisons in Syria.

“It is inconceivable for any country, including Canada, to leave its vulnerable children in these camps for a day longer than they should be,” said Fionnuala Ní Aoláin in an interview airing Saturday on CBC’s The House.

The UN special rapporteur also accused the Canadian government of hypocrisy, arguing that its actions on citizens in Syria devalued other efforts on the international stage.

They made their choice.

UN ‘Expert’ Demands Christians Comply with Leftist Ideology

A United Nations “expert” adviser on sexual orientation has issued a new report demanding that Christians comply with radical leftist ideology.

In his report, UN “expert” Victor Madrigal-Borloz expresses the idea that religious freedom is “not incompatible” with LGBT ideology.

However, a report from Washington Stand explains that compatibility comes only when faith standards are “subservient” to the sexual-political agenda embraced by LGBT organizations.

The UN’s climate alarmism has gone too far

UN secretary-general Antonio Guterres has declared that ‘the era of global warming has ended, the era of global boiling has arrived’. As if that were not enough, Guterres declared that ‘the air is unbreathable, the heat is unbearable’.

Something is raging out of control but it isn’t the temperature: last week’s famous ‘heat domes’ have subsided, with only a few patches of southern Europe over 30ºC this afternoon. It is hyperbole over the climate.

‘Era of global boiling has arrived,’ says chief UN Grifter as July set to be hottest month on record

So far so good.

The era of global warming has ended and “the era of global boiling has arrived”, the UN secretary general, António Guterres, has said after scientists confirmed July was on track to be the world’s hottest month on record.

“Climate change is here. It is terrifying. And it is just the beginning,” Guterres said. “It is still possible to limit global temperature rise to 1.5C [above pre-industrial levels], and avoid the very worst of climate change. But only with dramatic, immediate climate action.”

United Nations Planning Digital ID Linked to Bank Accounts

The United Nations (UN) is planning to introduce a global digital ID system that is linked to individuals’ bank accounts.

The plan, which is similar to the system developed by the World Economic Forum (WEF), is outlined in three new policy briefs from the UN titled, “A Global Digital Compact, Reforms to the International Financial Architecture, and The Future of Outer Space Governance.”

The goal of the briefs is to advance UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres’s “vision for the future.”

UN Climate agency distorts science, promotes green industry lobby

The dubious “ problem” of purported global warming has become a key driver of public policy, bringing social coercion and huge capital allocations by governments and corporations across the world.

Thus, very skeptical scrutiny should be brought to bear on proposals for frantic “ urgent action” on this matter. Trillions of dollars and millions of lives are at stake, depending on their recommendations and proposals.

The United Nations’ Jihad Against Israel

The United Nations has adopted the nasty habit of many Palestinians: throwing everything at Israel but the kitchen sink. Accusations against Israel have ranged from fabricated claims not merely of “apartheid,” but climate apartheid, water apartheidviolating women’s rights (the only country accused of that in the midst of a sea of crushing Islamic fundamentalist regimes!), to kidnapping and murdering Palestinian children to harvest their organs.

The UN, ostensibly dedicated to protecting human rights, and has, in fact, devolved into hurling bogus, tabloid-style allegations as it joins other blood-libel false charges by considering the addition of Israel to its list of blacklisted entities in its 2023 Children and Armed Conflict (CAAC) Report.

Joly announces Canada’s bid for a seat on the UN Human Rights Council

United Nations UN Beaver

Canada is throwing its hat in the ring for a seat on the United Nations Human Rights Council, pledging to advance issues from online speech to access to abortion.

Foreign Affairs Minister Melanie Joly on Tuesday announced Canada’s candidacy to sit on the council for 2028 to 2030, through an election that will likely take place in 2026.

This is bullshit. The real purpose is to land some contacts for a post politics gig.

UN report calls for decriminalization of all sexual activity, including between adults and children

A new report from the United Nations has called for all forms of drug use and sexual activity to be decriminalized globally.

Written by the International Committee of Jurists (ICJ), UNAIDS and the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), the report was released on International Women’s Day, with the goal of guiding “the application of international human rights law to criminal law.” Called the “8 March principles,” the report calls for offenses related to “sex, drug use, HIV, sexual and reproductive health, homelessness and poverty” to be decriminalized.

Islamic dictatorships are trying to buy the UN agencies

After the European Parliament, the UN is easy prey. Funding has allowed Islamic countries to form the most powerful bloc in UNESCO.

Testimonies collected by the New York Times within the International Labor Organization (the UN labor agency) speak of a payment of 25 million dollars by the Doha government into the agency’s coffers, which would have led to a softer attitude on workers’ rights in the emirate, in view of the football World Cup. The agency denied that.

In 2021, Saudi Arabia – another flagship country of workers’ rights – was elected to the executive committee of the International Labor Organization.

The UN’s constant famine crisis problem

The World Food Program’s manic rhetoric could lead to accusations of crying wolf

David Beasely, head of the UN’s World Food Program, has said that 350 million people are at risk of hunger and 50 million are “knocking at famine’s door.” Cockburn sees this as a serious humanitarian issue, which is why he is also concerned about the UN’s growing messaging problem. For years, the UN has raised the alarm about impending famines, but in most cases — either because of its efforts or other factors — such catastrophes have not yet come to pass. This is excellent news, and speaks to the skill and dedication of aid workers both in the UN and beyond — but it also risks creating the false impression of crying wolf.
