Melania Trump makes shock statement saying ‘lies’ linking her to Jeffrey Epstein ‘must stop’

First Lady Melania Trump is pushing back on claims she was linked to the disgraced financier and sex offender Jeffrey Epstein in a surprise address at the White House.

‘I am not Epstein’s victim,’ she stated during the address on Thursday afternoon. ‘Epstein did not introduce me to Donald Trump. I met my husband by chance at a New York City party in 1998.’

Trump and Melania met that year at the Kit Kat Klub in New York when the former supermodel was 28 years old. Paolo Zampolli, a modeling agency boss who is serving as Trump’s special envoy for global partnerships, claims he introduced the couple. They later married in 2005.

Washington Post columnist argues Muslims shouldn’t have to assimilate in America

Washington Post columnist Shadi Hamid is making the case that Muslims don’t need to assimilate in America.

“The assimilation defense — look how well we’ve integrated — is satisfying to make. But it concedes a premise I no longer accept: that a minority community’s right to be in the United States depends on its willingness to converge with the cultural mainstream. It shouldn’t depend on that. It shouldn’t depend on anything,” Hamid wrote Wednesday.

I agree they shouldn’t have to assimilate because they shouldn’t be here to begin with.

FBI arrests ex-Fort Bragg employee over alleged classified leak to journalist

The FBI has arrested a former military special operations employee accused of providing classified information to the media, the agency’s director Kash Patel announced on Wednesday.

The US Department of Justice said in a press release that the former employee, identified as Courtney Williams, 40, was arrested on Tuesday and indicted on Wednesday for allegedly sharing classified material with a journalist.

While the journalist is not named in the criminal complaint, Williams was interviewed by the investigative reporter Seth Harp for his 2025 nonfiction book about Fort Bragg, the North Carolina headquarters of the US Army’s Delta Force, a clandestine special operations unit.

Trump criticises Nato as alliance chief describes meeting as ‘very frank’

Donald Trump has again attacked Nato for not supporting the US in the Iran war, following a private meeting with its Secretary General Mark Rutte at the White House.

In a post shared to Truth Social after the meeting, the US President said: “NATO WASN’T THERE WHEN WE NEEDED THEM, AND THEY WON’T BE THERE IF WE NEED THEM AGAIN.”

Meanwhile, Rutte has described his meeting to CNN with Trump as “very frank” and “very open”, despite clear disagreements.

I’m an American living in Europe. It’s leaving the U.S. — fast.

I’m an American living in Europe. It’s leaving the U.S. — fast.

As an American living in Europe, I am frequently asked if my compatriots understand the extent of the damage being done to all facets of transatlantic relations by the Trump administration’s bullying policies. My answer is, sadly, no.

More and more Europeans no longer view the United States as a reliable ally. The reasons are not hard to find. The president has threatened to leave NATO, sidelined allies in negotiations over Ukraine’s future, imposed steep tariffs on the European Union and threatened to seize Greenland by force — prompting Europeans to prepare for the real prospect of military conflict with their oldest ally. One recent survey found that one-quarter or more of respondents in some countries — including France, Germany and Spain — see the United States as a rival or adversary. Another found that an absolute majority view Trump as an “enemy” of Europe and U.S. foreign policy as “recolonization.” Polls also reflect a growing belief that China is a more dependable partner.

ISIS-loving NYC bombing suspects mused about blowing right-wing agitator ‘in half’ and desire to kill up to 60 civilians: court docs

Two ISIS-inspired bombing suspects were caught musing about blowing up white supremacist Jake Lang and maiming up to 60 victims — both cops and civilians — in dashcam footage from their car ride to an anti-Muslim protest outside Gracie Mansion last month, according to a bombshell indictment.

Emir Balat, 18, and Ibrahim Kayumi, 19, were indicted on Tuesday for allegedly hurling two homemade incendiary devices in an ISIS-inspired March 7 attack during the dueling protests outside Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s official residence.

The secret, never-before-used CIA tool that helped find airman downed in Iran: ‘If your heart is beating, we will find you’

WASHINGTON — The CIA used a futuristic new tool called “Ghost Murmur” to find and rescue the second American airman who was shot down in southern Iran, The Post has learned.

The secret technology uses long-range quantum magnetometry to find the electromagnetic fingerprint of a human heartbeat and pairs the data with artificial intelligence software to isolate the signature from background noise, two sources close to the breakthrough said.

DR Congo Signs Deportation Deal with U.S.

The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) has announced it will temporarily accept foreigners deported from the United States under an agreement with Washington. The deal also aligns with U.S. interests in accessing Congolese mineral resources.

Vance Accuses EU of ‘Election Interference‘ Against Hungary‘s Orbán

U.S. Vice President JD Vance has accused Eurocrats in Brussels of meddling against Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán in a bid to topple the MAGA ally in Budapest at this week’s parliamentary elections.

In a press conference from the Hungarian capital just days before voters will head to the polls to select the next parliament, and therefore the next prime minister, Vice President Vance said that he was not there to tell citizens who to vote for, but merely to show support for Prime Minister Orbán, whom he described as the “rare exception” among leaders in Europe willing to stand up in defence of Western and Christian civilization.

Mark Carney urges restraint as Donald Trump threatens Iran with devastating strike

OTTAWA—Hours after U.S. President Donald Trump threatened to end “a whole civilization” in Iran with a deadly bombing planned today, Prime Minister Mark Carney urged “all parties” in the Middle East crisis to respect international law on war and humanitarian protections.

Responding to media questions about Trump’s threat against Iran that warned “a whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again,” Carney said he has privately called for restraint as the threat of more devastating strikes loomed large.

Europe mulls the prospect of a NATO without the US

Europe mulls the prospect of a NATO without the US

“NATO is broken,” says Ivo Daalder, not mincing his words. The former US ambassador to the transatlantic alliance believes that tensions between Donald Trump and European allies over the Iran war have thrust NATO, which turned 77 years old this month, into the “worst crisis” in its history. But alarm bells have been ringing for some time now. Already a year ago, Daalder published an article outlining how European member states might reconstruct NATO to function without the US, around whose leadership the organization was built.

Jamie Sarkonak: Bill C-3, the Liberal gateway to making Canada the 51st state

Jamie Sarkonak: Bill C-3, the Liberal gateway to making Canada the 51st state

In December, the Liberals extended Canadian citizenship to everyone in the world over the age of three months who can prove that one of their ancestors was born here, no matter how far back.

This was the result of Bill C-3. It means that potentially millions of people with no natural democratic right to intervene in our politics will soon be able to vote in our elections. Millions who haven’t contributed a cent to our economy will become eligible for our social safety net. Among them will be organized criminals, terrorists spawned from parents who left Canada to engage in barbarism overseas, people who can’t speak English or French, scammers, drug dealers, and many more undesirables.

The U.S. should no longer reflexively pay for and protect all of Western civilization

Denying the U.S. the use of its European bases is an insane level of ingratitude and entitlement.

he United States has to be done paying for everything and everyone in the rest of the world.

We have to go back to the Founders’ vision of not entangling ourselves in foreign conflicts, unless it is clearly, absolutely in our best and vital interest to do so.

This is not a criticism of the decision to attack Iran, per se. Any reasonable person can see that there could be great benefit to knocking out or laying low a nation with Iran’s destructive capabilities, a nation that has made it clear for almost half a century that it would love nothing more than to kill the Great Satan.

Data show more Americans aren’t heading to Canada — it’s the other way around

When Donald Trump was first elected U.S. president in 2016, there was a healthy dose of hyperbolic headlines about Americans fleeing to Canada in response, headlines that quickly re-surfaced after his re-election in 2024.

And while it’s true asylum claims from U.S. citizens have spiked in the first full year of both his terms and the ascension of Bill C-3 has opened the citizenship door to untold thousands of Americans with Canadian ancestral roots, new data from the Association for Canadian Studies show fewer U.S. citizens are emigrating north in recent years.
