‘It’s ridiculous’: U.S. closing historic Border Road to Canadian traffic

COUTTS — Amid the howling winds of the Sweet Grass Hills lies Border Road, a 14-kilometre ribbon of manicured gravel stretching between the United States and Canada.

The shared road is on the Montana side, but Alberta maintains it.

North of the road lives Ross Ford.

On the south, it’s Roger Horgus.

Both are in their 60s but remember childhood days bounding back and forth across the invisible demarcation line to play.

After official confirmation that Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) did, in fact, commit immigration fraud, the Republic of Somaliland — which has good reason to be bitter at the crimes of Omar and her Somali family — offered to be the hammer of justice if the United States would extradite Omar there.

No Kings protesters across the US rally against Donald Trump

Large protests against the Trump administration have taken place in cities across the US, marking the third iteration of No Kings rallies that have previously drawn crowds into the millions.

Organisers say they are protesting against policies imposed by US President Donald Trump, including the war in Iran, federal immigration enforcement and the rising cost of living.

“Trump wants to rule over us as a tyrant. But this is America, and power belongs to the people – not to wannabe kings or their billionaire cronies,” organisers said.

Trump weighs new ‘pay to play’ Nato

US president considers blocking members of military alliance from decision-making unless 5 per cent spending target hit

Donald Trump is considering a shake-up of Nato designed to punish members who do not meet his funding demands.

The US president is examining a “pay-to-play model” that could block allies from decision-making, including when the bloc goes to war.

It is one of several ideas Mr Trump is weighing up after allies rejected his demand to send warships to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.

Sources close to the president said he was also considering pulling US troops out of Germany – a move that he has considered since returning to office last year.

I agree NATO nations have used the US as a sucker and that includes Canada’s failure to pull it’s weight.

He should not have demanded that NATO members join in the war against Iran.

Even though the world will benefit from the defeat of Iran’s Mullah regime Trump can’t expect assistance on demand for a war NATO states are simply unwilling and incapable of fighting especially those harboring significant Muslim 5th Columns. France and England are barely able to control their own streets.

NATO is a paper tiger, a drain on US resources and its resentful anti-American members dubious allies making withdrawal a reasonable response.

Maybe a slap in the face is the right approach, maybe not regardless there’s gonna be a lot of hurt feelings over this!

Up to 1,000 Iranian ‘sleeper’ agents embedded in Canada: Gov’t official

As many as 1,000 former members of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps may be embedded across Canada — and posing an urgent security threat to the US, experts told The Post.

Canada’s liberal government isn’t doing nearly enough to address the problem, Michelle Rempel Garner, a member of the opposition and the “shadow minister” for immigration, told The Post.

“It’s a huge problem,” she said. “That’s not just a concern for our country, it’s a concern for our security partners and allies.”

Given Carney has made us vassals of China we should start bombing the US, Ukraine and Israel.

The Curious Case of the Diplomatic Leaker: Who Stabbed Whom in the Back — Bibi Netanyahu or JD Vance?

The film was about as faithful to the subject matter as its namesake was to Jacqueline, but some of JFK’s scenes were riveting:

Donald Sutherland (a.k.a. “Mr. X”): “Why was Kennedy killed? Who benefited? Who has the power to cover it up? Who?”

Let’s hijack Sutherland’s advice for the latest mystery that has D.C. tongues wagging: Yesterday, someone leaked a private conversation between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and U.S. Vice President JD Vance.

Trump ratchets up attacks on NATO, says U.S. no longer needs alliance

MIAMI BEACH — The United States may stop promising to defend its NATO allies should they come under attack, President Donald Trump said Friday, escalating his verbal barrage against the alliance as his frustration grows that European leaders have not significantly contributed to his war against Iran.

“NATO just wasn’t there” when he asked for help with the Iran war, Trump told a Miami Beach investment conference sponsored by the Saudi sovereign wealth fund. That, he said, was “a tremendous mistake” by the Europeans.

“We spend hundreds of billions of dollars a year on NATO, hundreds, protecting them, and we would have always been there for them, but now, based on their actions, I guess we don’t have to be,” he continued.

US embassy in Mexico prompts outrage with AI video promoting ‘self-deportation’

An AI-generated video from the US embassy in Mexico encouraging migrants to “self-deport” has sparked disbelief and outrage online.

The video posted this week on official embassy social media accounts depicts a group of men wearing black caps and sporting tattoos performing a kind of traditional Mexican ballad known as a corrido.

“The corrido rings out loud in your homeland; return to your roots,” the AI performer sings. “You don’t need to go far to get ahead. Listen to what you say: Mexican power lies within you.”

MAGA’s plan for Canada: not annexation, but dismemberment

No one knows where Donald Trump got the notion of annexing Canada. It hasn’t been seriously suggested by any significant figure in American politics for at least a century. There has been next to no take-up of the proposal, even among his MAGA followers.

But the underlying premises – the idea that America must have complete dominion over the Western Hemisphere; that Canada is less a friendly ally than a troublesome appendage; that relations between the two countries should be based not on mutual benefit, but on dominance and despoliation – these are everywhere in the MAGA universe.

If I had to choose an overlord the USA is far better than Carney and his ChiCom pals.

No Biggie, Just Drone Swarms Shutting Down Our Nuclear Strike Command

Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana serves as headquarters for the Air Force’s Global Strike Command, in charge of our nuclear bomber fleet of B-2 Spirits and B-52 BUFFs. Barksdale doesn’t make the news very often — thank goodness — but there were a few blink-and-you’ll-miss-it reports last week about multiple drone infestations from parts unknown.

Do not blink. Do not miss this one. It’s important.

US prosecutors argue Maduro ‘plundered’ Venezuelan wealth in court battle over legal fees

A judge appeared sympathetic on Thursday to legal arguments that ex-Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro and his wife Cillia Flores should be allowed to use Venezuelan government money to fund their defence.

Maduro and Flores’s attorneys asked the judge to dismiss the narco-terrorism case against the pair because the US has denied them use of the funds due to sanctions in place against the Latin American country.

Prosecutors argued Maduro “plundered” Venezuela’s wealth and should not be able to use its money for legal fees.
