Kudos to NBC News, which not only covered the bail release for Quintez Brown but also noted Brown’s appearance on MSNBC as well. As Media Research Center’s Nicholas Fondacaro points out, the other two broadcast networks barely mentioned the case at all, and left out how Brown got his bail money.
Here’s the tweet, thought it best to preserve the pic for posterity.

“The violent crackdown on #FreedomConvoy2022 has nothing to do with freedom of speech and human rights,” former Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad tweeted.
“How coercion could be related to liberty & freedom of choice?” the Iranian wrote, signing off with the #TruckersForFreedom hashtag.

The incredible powers that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has given his government to freeze people’s bank accounts is based on their reliance on “analysis” from the CBC.
This is according to a 14-page document the government tabled in the House of Commons Wednesday night detailing the supposed rationale for invoking the Emergencies Act in the first place.

OTTAWA — The House of Commons will not sit Friday to debate emergency measures the government has brought in to deal with the protest just outside its doors that is entering its fourth week.
A note from Speaker Anthony Rota says the sitting is cancelled because of a police operation expected to take place by Parliament Hill and other locations around Ottawa’s downtown core.
The note goes on to say that anyone not in the parliamentary precinct should stay away from the core until further notice.
OTTAWA—An Ottawa judge has frozen the bank accounts and digital “wallets” of convoy leaders believed to hold more than $1 million in bitcoin and cryptocurrency after an extraordinary secret hearing.
Late Thursday, Ontario Superior Court Justice Calum MacLeod granted an injunction to a private citizens’ effort to stanch the flow of money that was a lifeline for the 21-day occupation of Ottawa.
… Lawyer Paul Champ, acting on behalf of a group of Ottawa residents who have launched a class-action lawsuit for damages caused by the protest, won the injunction during an unusual “ex-parte” hearing, held “in camera” — without public notice or access. The targeted defendants did not receive advance warning, nor did they have an opportunity to get a lawyer to court to contest the claims.
It was a calculated effort to halt the flow of funds after a private investigator and a bitcoin expert hired by Champ flagged that the “Freedom Convoy” organizers were moving cryptocurrency funds out of digital wallets and into new ones faster than the RCMP could keep up, and outpacing the federal government’s efforts to track them, Champ said.
BLM helps raise $100,000 bail for defund police activist, 21, honored by Obama who’s now charged with attempted murder ‘after walking into Jewish Democrat mayoral candidate’s office and trying to assassinate him’
BLM has posted the $100,000 bail for an activist hailed by Obama who was charged with attempted murder after allegedly trying to assassinate a Jewish mayoral candidate.
Quintez Brown, 21, was accused of opening fire on Monday on Craig Greenberg, whose shirt was grazed by a bullet in his campaign headquarters in Louisville, Kentucky.
He was named as a ‘rising face’ by Barack Obama’s foundation in 2019, and appears on the Obama website bragging of his status as a role model for local boys. He was also repeatedly hired by the BBC – the UK’s prestigious public broadcaster – as a spokesman on race matters in the US.

Black Lives Matter filings reveal prominent Democratic lawyer Marc Elias and another longtime ally of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton have taken on key roles in the charity amid scrutiny over its leadership and finances.
Elias, best known for his funding of British ex-spy Christopher Steele’s discredited anti-Trump dossier while he served as Clinton’s 2016 campaign general counsel, appears to be representing the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation through his recently formed Elias Law Group. BLM’s national organization repeatedly lists the Elias firm as one of its addresses and states in its short-year 2020 Form 990 that its books were now in the care of the Elias Law Group.
