Police arrest women’s rights activist on suspicion of ‘hate crimes’ after she put up posters about protecting single-sex prisons

A women’s rights campaigner who put up stickers and posters in Newport, Wales, has been arrested by police for ‘criminal damage’ and ‘abusive writing’ after people allegedly complained that her posters carried an ‘anti-transgender message’.

Jennifer Swayne, 53, was arrested on Sunday afternoon and detained until the early hours of the morning, while police officers executed a search warrant on her property and confiscated women’s rights stickers and a book containing a collection of critical essays about the theory and practice of transgendering children.

Rescuers form human chain to save passengers from bus dangling from collapsed Pittsburgh bridge

Rescuers form HUMAN CHAIN to save passengers from bus dangling from collapsed Pittsburgh bridge – just hours before Biden visits the city to promote his $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill

Rescuers formed a human chain to rescue four people from a commuter bus left dangling off the edge of a collapsed bridge in Pittsburgh early Friday.

Photographs from the scene showed the bus – which had three passengers and a driver on board – perched upright on the edge of the bridge. Other rescuers rappelled nearly 150ft to help with the rescue.

The two-lane span, on Forbes Avenue over Fern Hollow Creek in Frick Park, came down around 7 a.m, taking multiple vehicles with it.

The Gretchen Whitmer Kidnapping Plot Looks an Awful Lot Like Entrapment

This is a much more persuasive example of Deep State nefariousness than January 6.

The militia members who allegedly plotted to kidnap Michigan’s Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer because of her COVID-19 lockdown policies will go to trial in just a few weeks. Six were charged in connection with the plot, and one of them has already pleaded guilty and is expected to testify against the rest. State authorities charged eight others with aiding a terrorist plot.

But the government’s case against these 14 alleged extremists relies on work done by at least a dozen government informants and undercover FBI agents whose extensive involvement in the plot calls into question whether it would have moved forward at all without the government’s prodding. Some of these government actors took lead roles in organizing the supposed plot—one of the informants was even paid $54,000 by the FBI.

Muslima Aussie Rules Football player to miss match rather than wear club’s pride jumper and that’s just dandy with everyone

League’s first Muslim player didn’t want to wear jumper on religious grounds but is said to have support and respect of teammates

GWS Giants midfielder Haneen Zreika will sit out the club’s AFLW clash with the Western Bulldogs after deciding she could not wear the new pride jumper due to her faith.

Now imagine if it were a Christian girl.

Navy SEALs to stop using Washington state parks after residents voice fears of seeing ‘armed men’

The U.S. Navy is pausing SEAL training at Washington state parks while a legal battle over their use winds its way through the courts.

“It is difficult to find peace in the woods when armed frogmen might be lurking behind every tree,” lawyers for the Whidbey Environmental Action Network, the group behind the lawsuit against the Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission, argued in a legal brief filed last month.

Someone needs a kick in the ass.

Trudeau Liberals used crappy deal with Communist China Lab to justify even crappier Covid Vaxx deal

CanSino-McMaster deal may turn out to be ‘case study of what not to do in partnerships with China’: expert

The federal government has trumpeted previous vaccine partnerships with a China-based company as one of the reasons why Canada was pinning its hopes on a COVID-19 vaccine candidate from China early in the pandemic.

But The Fifth Estate has reviewed those partnerships and found that a collaboration with McMaster University in Hamilton stalled years ago and never resulted in an approved vaccine anywhere in the world.

… After the deal fell apart, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau told reporters that the reason Canada partnered with CanSino was because of the “well-established partnership” between scientists in Canada and China “that has been effective in the past.”

Schadenfreude overload on virtue-signaling former mayor of San Luis Obispo who stepped down ‘to fight climate change’

Few things delight me more than watching climate cultists with Big Plans to change the way we live running headlong into reality and discovering that their ideas just don’t work. When those people are elected officials (or former ones) or when they hold leadership positions in NGOs, the schadenfreude meter redlines.

The story of Heidi Harmon, who stepped down from being mayor of San Luis Obispo, California last August to battle climate change, is one to savor.

Winter Olympics: Will the Beijing Games be ‘green and clean’?

China has promised to deliver a “green and clean” Winter Olympics, which gets under way on 4 February.

Organisers say they have prioritised protecting native species, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and cutting down on resources used.

But there’s been criticism that this will be the first Winter Olympics to rely entirely on artificial snow – and that some events will be held in the middle of a nature reserve.

NDP MPs criticized for ‘terrible’ social media comments on Ukraine-Russia crisis

This Ukrainian Militia unit was personally trained and outfitted by Justin Trudeau. The men were grateful for the new shoes.

Three sitting New Democrat MPs are being criticized for posting “terrible” comments about the escalating tensions between Ukraine and Russia on social media, some of which questioned Canada’s support for Ukraine in the face of Moscow’s aggression.

Winnipeg Centre MP Leah Gazan has since apologized for sharing an article on Twitter over the weekend criticizing Canada’s “hawkish” stance on the crisis while accusing the federal government of supporting “an anti-Semitic, neo-nazi (sic) & fascist militia.”
