You only thought you were vaccinated

For many months, conservatives have been predicting that the CDC will redefine what it means to be vaccinated. In the distant past — that is, more than two years ago — being vaccinated meant you’d had an injection that left you forever immune to a disease. This became problematic when the COVID vaccines did not leave people immune to the disease. Now there are boosters, so the CDC has announced that you’re not vaccinated unless you’ve also had your booster. Of course, even with that booster, you’re still not immune, as the troubles in Israel reveal.

Virginia woman charged for threats to ‘bring every gun’ over school mask rule

A Virginia mother was charged with making a threat on school property after she told local board members she would bring “every single gun loaded” if the district instituted a mask mandate.

Renewed mask fights were touched off this month after the new Republican governor of Virginia, Glenn Youngkin, issued an executive order making masks optional for students, subject to the preference of parents.

Kent State Professor Doesn’t Think Violent Rapes in School Bathrooms Are a ‘Safety Issue’

On the Dr. Phil show, Kent State Associate Professor Dr. Suzy D’Enbeau made the shocking claim that the violent rape of a girl in the bathroom of a Loudoun County school perpetrated by a boy in a dress was not a “safety issue.” Debating the Daily Wire’s Matt Walsh, D’Enbeau tried to brush off the threat of bathroom rape in America’s schools due to the woke ideology that says anyone should be able to use any bathroom regardless of sex.

Toronto Police Services First Black Female Superintendent charged with misconduct over alleged cheating in promotional exams

A high-ranking Toronto police officer has been charged with professional misconduct under Ontario’s Police Services Act — the second city police superintendent to be facing serious allegations of wrongdoing in a week.

Supt. Stacy Clarke is charged with seven counts of misconduct, according to a Toronto police document released Friday, which shows upcoming appearances at the force’s disciplinary tribunal.

The charges come less than two weeks after Toronto police launched an investigation into “impropriety” in its recent promotional process, including allegations that a senior officer provided a select number of candidates for the rank of sergeant the answers to an all-important exam, sources told the Star.

IRS to demand facial recognition ID

A new kind of digital identification, requiring the user to submit their personal data to a private company in Virginia – including a live video of their face from their cell phone or computer webcam – will be the only way Americans can create an account with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) starting by the summer of 2022.

Old log-in credentials will stop working later this year, and the only way to log into irs.gov will be by using ID.me, an online identity verification service run by a company in McLean, Virginia, just outside the Capital Beltway. This is according to investigative journalist Brian Krebs, who went through the procedure of creating an account for himself this week.

The golden age of capitalism will emasculate us all

It’s that special time of year when the global elites gather together at Davos. Or rather it would be, if it weren’t for Covid. Thanks to the Omicron wave, the World Economic Forum 2022 has been postponed.

But don’t despair. Instead of the annual jamboree that you probably couldn’t afford and wouldn’t be invited to, there’s an online event called The Davos Agenda. This opened on Monday with a “special address” by Xi Jinping.

Canada’s Prince Andrew high school announces plan to change name

A Canadian high school named after the Duke of York has announced plans to rename itself, in an attempt to distance itself from the growing controversy surrounding the Queen’s second son.

The principal of Prince Andrew high school in the province of Nova Scotia told families on Wednesday to expect the change as the school looks for a name that “upholds our values as a safe and inclusive” space.

“The name of a school should be reflective of our school community … Our hope is to continue to build our identity as a positive, supportive and respectful community, with a name to match,” principal Craig Campbell wrote in an email.
