Trump: We used ‘Discombobulator’ weapon in Maduro raid

A secret weapon called “The Discombobulator” was essential to the US raid that captured Nicolas Maduro, Donald Trump said.

The US president appeared to confirm the existence of a mysterious sonic device that may be behind reports of Mr Maduro’s henchmen being knocked off their feet by a wave of sound.

Experts have questioned the details from a witness account, which claimed the weapon left Mr Maduro’s guards bleeding from the nose and vomiting blood.

Risky business: Sex workers demand soars in Davos during World Economic Forum

Demand for sex workers in Davos skyrocketed during this year’s World Economic Forum — including one client who allegedly shelled out a whopping $114,000 for four days with five women.

The apparent work hard, party harder attitude of the global elite was apparent in the voracious appetite for escorts in the Swiss town, where global leaders, big tech CEOs and moneyed magnates sent requests for sex workers surging, according to the Swiss dating and erotic services platform Titt4Tat.

Thousand-strong mob of thirsty camels storms outback town

In a tiny dot on the map of Australia’s vast northern deserts a mob is rampaging. Fences have been flattened, pipes unearthed, taps torn from walls and toilet cisterns demolished. It is so hot even the camels have the hump.

The mob mostly strikes Mount Liebig, about 200 miles west of Alice Springs, at night. Northern Territory officials say they have travelled hundreds of miles to lay siege to the isolated town. The group of 1,000 camels, parched even by a camel’s standards, has wandered in search of water. Even air conditioners are a target as searing temperatures show little sign of letting up across the country.

44% Of Canadians Fear President Trump More Than They Fear Mark Carney’s Boss Xi Jinping Says New Nanos Poll

From Page 11 of the pdf.

INCREASE IN THE PERCENTAGE OF CANADIANS WHO REPORT BELIEVING THE US/TRUMP IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THREAT TO CANADA RELATIVE TO THE DECREASE  IN THOSE WHO REPORT CHINA IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THREAT

Asked what they believe to be the most important international threat to Canada, forty-four percent of Canadians cite the US/Trump.

This more than doubled from the 17 percent of Canadians who reported believing the US/Trump was the most important international threat to Canada in the 2020 wave.

The next threats Canadians cite as most important are China (seven percent) and trade wars (also seven percent). While the percentage of Canadians citing trade wars as the most important international threat to Canada remained consistent relative to the 2020 wave (seven percent), it should be noted that the percentage of Canadians citing China as the most important threat decreased to seven percent in 2025 from twenty-two percent in 2020.

Canadians are split over whether government should support protesters in Iran: poll

Dead of the Iran Riots

Canadians are divided over whether government support should be offered to protesters in Iran, according to a new poll.

Just 26 per cent of Canadians said the federal government should publicly declare support for the protesters, while 30 per cent said it should not, according to a national poll conducted by Leger for the Association for Canadian Studies. Forty per cent of respondents said they didn’t know and four per cent did not respond.

26%. Those support numbers seem awfully low. Have we hit some sort of Islamization tipping point?

Disgraceful past of Minneapolis mother who raised $173,000 by claiming her baby was tear-gassed by ICE while driving home from basketball game… as new video paints a VERY different picture

Lying tear gassed baby momma Destiny Jackson

Her make-up free, shellshocked face was beamed into tens of millions of homes across America this week as Destiny Jackson recounted a horrifying encounter with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

The 26-year-old mother-of-six told CNN that her baby son was tear-gassed after she and her husband Shawn found themselves trapped in an anti-ICE protest in Minneapolis while driving home from their older son’s basketball game.

An altered version of events was offered to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune and Associated Press, with Jackson claiming her family was injured after she stopped to check on her mother, who had been attending the January 14 protest.

SLOBODIAN: Watching the homeless from a five-star hotel — Ottawa’s housing advocate embarrasses Canada abroad

It’s sure a good thing her staff avoided booking rooms in “opulent” hotels when Canada’s self-described “watchdog for the homeless” jetted off on an extended junket to Egypt.

Marie-Josée Houle, a former punk rock musician who is now Cabinet’s $213,000-a-year Housing Advocate, and whoever accompanied her settled for rooms at the Marriott and Triumph hotels in Cairo.

Met Police bans ‘Walk With Jesus’ march to avoid provoking local Muslim community

Typical al Quds Day march in London UK

Scotland Yard has stopped a Ukip march from going ahead in east London over fears of provoking the local Muslim community.

The demonstration, titled “Walk With Jesus”, was scheduled for January 31 in Whitechapel – long home to one of Britain’s largest Islamic populations.

Metropolitan Police officials said permitting the event in that location would be “reckless” given the potential for violence.
