‘You are eating on stolen land’: BLM’s anti-Thanksgiving diatribe sparked furious backlash

Black Lives Matter sparked furious backlash on social media after an anti-Thanksgiving tweet that claimed that Americans were eating their holiday meals on ‘stolen land.’

On Thanksgiving Thursday the social activism group’s official Twitter slammed American’s across the country gathering to celebrate the holiday.

‘You are eating dry turkey and overcooked stuffing on stolen land,’ the group posted from its @Blklivesmatter verified Twitter account, which has 1 million followers.

Over 40 per cent of military sexual misconduct class action claims are from men: Eyre

More than 40 per cent of the nearly 19,000 claims submitted by survivors and victims of military sexual misconduct are from men, says Gen. Wayne Eyre.

In an interview with The West Block’s Mercedes Stephenson, Eyre said the scope of the claims submitted through that process demonstrate the fact that the problem is one that everyone in the Canadian Forces must work to address — even though there are no easy answers.

Sounds like they’ve exceeded their diversity targets in certain categories.

Salvation Army Peddles Critical Race Theory, Urges Members to Confront Their Racism

The Salvation Army, the Christian charity famous for its festive collection boxes and volunteers around the holiday season, has adopted the teachings of critical race theory, urging members to actively confront their faith’s historic racism.

In a guidebook titled “Let’s Talk About Racism,” the organization calls Christians to reflect on and rectify their contributions to the social inequities and prejudicial systems that have harmed minorities. Citing its “International Position Statement on Racism,” the organization writes that it “acknowledges with regret, that Salvationists have sometimes shared in the sins of racism and conformed to economic, organisational and social pressures that perpetuate racism.”

Boosting ̷g̷e̷n̷d̷e̷r̷ ̷p̷a̷r̷i̷t̷y̷ misogyny: Ontario Liberals create women-only candidate ridings

The Ontario Liberal Party has moved to only allow women to run for the nomination in more than 20 of its ridings in an effort to improve gender equity in its caucus.

The party provided a list of 22 ridings to Global News where it has made the rule change, including in the Greater Toronto Area, Durham Region and elsewhere in southern Ontario.

Havana Syndrome: FBI warns staff amid reports of symptoms among agents

The FBI has warned its employees about Havana Syndrome, a mysterious ailment that appears to have affected US diplomats and spies in several countries in recent years and manifests as a brain injury.

More than 200 US officials, from the state department, CIA and national security council (NSC), have suffered from some form of symptoms – including dizziness, nausea and headaches. The phenomenon was first identified in Cuba but has happened elsewhere.

War movie about defeat of US Army is now China’s biggest film ever

A Chinese propaganda movie depicting the defeat of the US Army has become the country’s highest-grossing film of all time.

The three-hour-long war epic, “The Battle at Lake Changjin,” has made a whopping $892 million in the communist country since it was released there on Sept. 30.

It has now surpassed the 2017 action flick “Wolf Warrior II,” which previously held the record for China’s highest-grossing movie, with $882 million in box office receipts.

WARMINGTON: Bradford school suspends teen for flying pro-police flag on truck

Carson Young is free to fly his pro-police flag on his truck anywhere he wants — except in the parking lot at Bradford District High School.

“The reason for his suspension is opposition to authority,” principal David Brooks wrote in the teen’s disciplinary letter. “Carson refused to comply with directions from school administration.”

Liberal actress slams media coverage of Waukesha attack

Actress Debra Messing – known as an outspoken liberal – has savaged the mainstream media for its coverage of the Waukesha Christmas parade massacre. “It was not an accident,” she declared, “It was a domestic terror attack.”

“Dear Mainstream Media,” Messing tweeted on Wednesday. “A man intentionally drove his car through a parade killing 6 and injuring 50+. It was not an ACCIDENT.”
