Jaw-dropping footage shows a North Korean soldier, who is fighting for Vladimir Putin in Ukraine, getting blown up by a landmine while sledging.

Dressed in camo – gun slung over his shoulder – the soldier appears to be enjoying a sledge ride.

Meanwhile a Russian voice is heard saying: ‘The [North] Koreans are putting on a show…..****ing brilliant!’

Canada plans to send soldiers to Greenland as show of NATO solidarity with Denmark

Canada has drawn up plans to send a small contingent of soldiers to Greenland for military exercises with NATO allies in the face of threats from U.S. President Donald Trump to acquire the semi-autonomous Arctic territory, two senior government officials say.

The officials told The Globe and Mail that the Canadian Armed Forces are awaiting final political approval from Prime Minister Mark Carney before sending the soldiers.

Pub landlord told painting a St George’s Cross needs planning permission

A pub landlord has been forced to apply for permission to keep a St George’s cross painted on the front of his pub.

Jerry Kunkler first painted the red cross on the white exterior of the Moonrakers Inn in Pewsey, Wilts, for the 2016 FIFA Club World Cup, and repainted it in 2022 for the World Cup in the Middle East.

But after it featured in a Reform UK promotional video, a local complained it looked like “the headquarters of the National Front”.

Special forces first to get new military helicopters expected to start arriving in 2033

Canadian special forces will receive the first of a new fleet of helicopters starting in 2033, followed by other rotary aircraft to be ordered later for army units.

The federal government will start consultations with defence firms in the coming months on the new project, the Department of National Defence confirmed to the Ottawa Citizen.
