Brown University Shooter Claudio Neves Valente, 48, A Portuguese National, Found Dead Of A Self Inflicted Wound In A Storage Unit

The gunman who opened fire at Brown University and killed two students has been found dead after law enforcement officials clad in tactical gear descended on a storage facility in New Hampshire.

Authorities had found a vehicle used by the suspect parked outside the building in Salem – more than 80 miles from the Ivy League school – and secured a search warrant for a unit believed to have been rented by the suspect.

Police then found the suspect – Claudio Neves Valente, 48, a Portuguese national – dead inside the unit, authorities announced at a news conference Thursday night.

Trump just like Hitler says Munk-ey boy

Trump’s mass deportation policy is taking American democracy with it

In certain ways, this fall in the United States has recalled the fall of 1938 in Nazi Germany, when mass deportations of undocumented people was one of Adolf Hitler’s most ambitious coercive policies before the start of the Second World War. In the U.S., too, the connection between domestic repression and foreign aggression is coming into focus.

That fall, the German police and SS rounded up 17,000 Jews with Polish citizenship and dumped them across the border. This set off a chain of events that provides a useful perspective on where the U.S. is now. A family was deported; a desperate refugee took revenge; the government organized a pogrom and reorganized its police; war followed.

Good Lord. The Munk-ey boys have jumped the shark, one too many circle-jerks I reckon.

How a Toronto-area suspected serial killer evaded police for decades despite violent criminal record

A man posthumously identified last week as a serial killer, who police believe is responsible for three cold-case murders in Ontario in the 1980s and 90s, had a history of committing violent crimes, including rape.

However, Kenneth Smith remained biologically off the radar of law enforcement for decades, police say, because his prior convictions occurred before the creation of both the national DNA data bank and the sex-offender registry.

Brown University shooting suspect identified by cops but they’re not releasing his name for some stupid reason

Brown University Mass Shooting Suspect

A suspect in the Brown University shooting that left two students dead and nine others wounded has been identified after an ineffectual six-day manhunt, sources tell The Post.

The perpetrator, whom authorities have not publicly named, managed to elude authorities for nearly a week after he opened fire inside a classroom and then escaped into the surrounding streets of Providence, Rhode Island, on Saturday.

Teachers to be trained to spot early signs of misogyny in boys

Teachers are not the role models you are looking for.

Teachers will be given training to spot the signs of misogyny and tackle it in the classroom as part of the government’s long-awaited strategy to halve violence against women and girls within the next decade.

The plans – which focus on preventing the radicalisation of young men – are due to be unveiled on Thursday, after being pushed back three times this year.

Pupils will be taught about issues such as consent, the dangers of sharing intimate images, how to identify positive role models and to challenge unhealthy myths about women and relationships.

Canada couldn’t treat a sick woman. So it offered her assisted suicide

Canada’s healthcare system used to be a source of pride for my country. It was regarded as one of the world’s best examples of a publicly-funded insurance system, free at the point of use, ranking highly for accessibility, care, compassion and the treatment of major and minor illnesses.

No longer. In 2024, the influential Commonwealth Fund survey placed Canada in seventh place out of ten developed countries, with a particularly poor score for access to care. In January, the Canada-based CD Howe Institute gave the country’s healthcare system an even gloomier diagnosis: it was placed ninth out of 10 countries, with all provinces and territories falling below the international average for overall healthcare performance.

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese says his government will crack down on hate speech following Sunday’s deadly shooting at Bondi Beach that targeted a Jewish festival.

Fifteen people were killed when two gunmen opened fire at an event to mark the first day of Hanukkah.

New laws will target “those who spread hate, division and radicalisation”, Albanese told reporters in Canberra.

Woke authorities release illegal immigrant after his truck crash killed hardworking dad-of-two

Woke Washington state authorities were slammed after releasing an illegal immigrant truck driver accused of killing a father-of-two in a horror crash.

Indian national Kamalpreet Singh, 25, allegedly drove his semi-truck into the stopped car of Robert Pearson, 29, on December 11, killing the beloved father.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) issued a detainer for Singh following his arrest after it was found he was in the country illegally, but Washington authorities refused to honor the order.
