The Cybertruck was supposed to be apocalypse-proof. Can it even survive a trip to the grocery store?

The Cybertruck answers a question no one in the auto industry even thought to ask: what if there was a truck that a Chechen warlord couldn’t possibly pass up – a bulletproof, bioweapons-resistant, road rage-inducing street tank that’s illegal to drive in most of the world?

Few had seen anything quite like the Cybertruck when it was unveiled in 2019. Wrapped in an “ultra-hard, 30X, cold-rolled stainless steel exoskeleton”, the Cybertruck was touted as the ultimate doomsday chariot – a virtually indestructible, obtuse-angled, electrically powered behemoth that can repel handgun fire and outrun a Porsche while towing a Porsche, with enough juice leftover to power your house in the event of a blackout. At the launch, Tesla CEO Elon Musk said the truck could tackle any terrain on Earth and possibly also on Mars – and all for the low, low base price of $40,000. “Sometimes you get these late-civilization vibes [that the] apocalypse could come along at any moment,” Musk said. “Here at Tesla, we have the best in apocalypse technology.”

The BBC has sparked furious backlash after putting a biological woman on its gay dating show I Kissed A Boy with critics branding the move ‘homophobic in the extreme’.

The reality show, fronted by pop star Dannii Minogue, features single men looking for love but with a twist. Contestants must kiss before getting to know one another.

But controversy erupted after it was revealed that one of the participants, Lars, was born female and lived as a girl for 16 years despite now identifying as a ‘gay man trapped in a woman’s body’.

Canada facing high youth suicide rates, child mortality, new report finds

Progress to improve child and youth well-being in Canada is lagging compared to other high-income countries, according to a new UNICEF report.

It ranks Canada closer to the bottom than the top of the list when it comes to adolescent suicide rates, child mortality and competence in social skills.

“All orders of government in Canada have an opportunity to concretely address the downward trends we see in this Report Card — and frankly, an obligation to,” Sevaun Palvetzian, president and CEO of UNICEF Canada, said in a statement to the Star.

Liberal governments will do that to ya.

‘Four-day sex parties became my full-time job,’ Diddy’s ex tells sex-trafficking trial

Sean “Diddy” Combs forced his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura into four-day drug-fuelled “freak-off” sex parties that consumed her life like a full-time job, a court heard.

Combs and Ventura, who were in a relationship for more than a decade, came face-to-face for the first time in more than six years on Tuesday when she took the stand in the rapper’s criminal trial.

Ventura, 38, claimed she would need days to recover from the toll of taking narcotics to stay awake for days on end having sex with strangers as her boyfriend at the time watched.

Cannes: Robert De Niro Attacks Trump as ‘America’s Philistine President‘

A

Robert De Niro used his appearance before the fawning, gilded elites at the 78th Cannes Film Festival on Tuesday to sneer at President Donald Trump as “America’s philistine president.”

De Niro would impoverish domestic film crews rather than acknowledge Trump’s effort to restore Hollywood makes sense.

De Niro and Carney should introduce their tranny kids to one another, then they can all TDS together.

Study shows men emit 26% more pollution due to eating red meat and driving more … calls for men bans mount

Car use and meat consumption drive emissions gender gap, research suggests

Cars and meat are major factors driving a gender gap in greenhouse gas emissions, new research suggests.

Men emit 26% more planet-heating pollution than women from transport and food, according to a preprint study of 15,000 people in France. The gap shrinks to 18% after controlling for socioeconomic factors such as income and education.

Eating red meat and driving cars explain almost all of the 6.5-9.5% difference in pollution that remains after also accounting for men eating more calories and travelling longer distances, the researchers said. They found no gender gap from flying.

Sweden: Time to “Wake Up” to Dangers of New Gender Legislation

A new law set to come into effect on July 1st will make it easier for Swedes to legally change their gender, with reports claiming that a single digital healthcare ‘visit’ will suffice.

Christian Democrats politician Christian Carlsson said it was “incomprehensible” that only his party and the Sweden Democrats tried to stop the legislation from moving forward last year, “and that this spring we were the only ones who tried to have the new law repealed before it takes effect.”
