When did meat become Right-wing?

Eating flesh is a display of raw power

In America, there are two famous vampires named Brian Johnson. Well, sort of. The first, who admittedly spells it “Bryan”, is the preternaturally ageless tech entrepreneur who charts his erections and uses infusions of his teenage son’s blood plasma in pursuit of eternal youth — and has ended up looking somewhere freakishly in between 38 and 80. The other resembles a man-beast with Neolithic coiffure, always baring a mahogany, bulging breast, often chomping on the still-beating heart of some poor animal or other. This Brian is better known by another name: Liver King.

Eternally Miserable: The View Decries Trump Trying to Lower Drug Costs

There’s seemingly nothing that President Trump could do that would get the approval of the eternal haters on ABC’s The View, even when it was the exact same thing their side of the political isle was trying to do. During their Tuesday show, the liberal ladies were up in arms and raging at Trump for wanting to lower the cost of prescription drugs in America, and were not dissuaded even after learning that progressives on the left wanted to enact the same plan.

Liberals won Terrebonne, Que., riding by 1 vote — but this woman’s Bloc ballot wasn’t counted

Elections Canada says it is investigating after a voter in a Quebec riding came forward with an envelope that had been returned to sender.

Inside was a vote for the Bloc Québécois in the Terrebonne riding, where, as it stands, incoming Liberal MP Tatiana Auguste was declared the winner by one vote after several recounts.

Elections Canada said the return address printed on this elector’s return envelope was incorrect — specifically, part of the postal code.

The A-list offspring coming out as trans

Even the keenest of celebrity watchers may not have heard of Aaron De Niro before late last month. If they have since, it will likely be by a different name, as Oscar-winner Robert De Niro’s 29-year-old child says she now identifies as Airyn, a transgender woman.

“There’s a difference between visible and being seen,” she told online LGBTQ+ online publication Them in April about her transition. “I’ve been visible. [But] I don’t think I’ve been seen yet.”

De Niro, who has seven children in total, said he supported her decision. “I loved and supported Aaron as my son and now I love and support Airyn as my daughter,” the A-lister said, adding: “I don’t know what the big deal is…I love all my children.”

I believe the phenomenon to be a Biblical curse upon Hollywood’s denizens.

Canadians want to be able to defend Canada. Our government should provide a way

Canadians are supercharged.

Voter turnout for the federal election was the highest in 30 years. The “Buy Canada” movement is gaining momentum, and the great summer staycation of 2025 is under way. Today, surveys are showing that 90 per cent of Canadians agree our country has a cultural identity worth defending.

With Canadian patriotism alive and kicking, it’s the ideal moment for Canada’s new government to redefine the meaning of national service. That’s why Ottawa should convert our new-found patriotic energy into a national civil defence movement – one that’s able, organized and trained to respond to emergencies.
