Florida opens criminal investigation into Tate brothers

Florida has launched a criminal investigation into British-American influencers Andrew and Tristan Tate, who flew to the state last week from Romania, where they faced rape and human-trafficking charges.

Florida’s attorney general, James Uthmeier, said investigators have issued search warrants and subpoenas as part of a “now-active” inquiry.

In the US, the brothers also face a civil suit from a woman alleging they coerced her into sex work, and then defamed her after she gave evidence to Romanian authorities. They strongly deny all the allegations against them.

I find it concerning that the likes of Jordan Peterson, Tommy Robinson, Katie Hopkins and others have spoken well of the Tates.

In Canada’s hour of need, how will Dhimmi King Charles step up?

Queen: Ten Days in London.

During the current almighty brouhaha with the United States, concerned Canadians have been wondering about the conspicuous silence of their head of state, King Charles III, who seems to be hiding out behind a wall of silence when we need him most. U.S. President Donald Trump has been saying such ridiculous things about the King’s Canadian realm and has just unleashed punitive tariffs. So Canadians want to know: where the dickens is our head of state, who should be telling the Great Grifter to buzz off and concentrate instead on all the ills which beset his own ridiculously indebted country?

Charles is not worth a bowl of piss.

Deporting criminal would deprive daughter of male role model, judges rule

An Albanian criminal jailed for more than three years for running a cannabis factory will not be deported after judges ruled it would deprive his daughter of a “male role model”.

Xhoni Leka arrived in the UK illegally in 2013 and was repeatedly refused residency before being caught in possession of class B drugs with intent to supply in 2020.

The Home Office served him with a deportation order but he successfully appealed by claiming it would breach his rights under Article 8 of the European Convention of Human Rights, which protects an individual’s right to a family life.

Team Trump should want nothing to do with the Tates

MAGA conservatives keep mistaking scumbags and outrage-merchants for tribunes of the people.

The Tate brothers have been ‘rescued’. At the end of last week, influencers Andrew and Tristan Tate left Romania, where they were being investigated for allegations of human trafficking, money laundering and rape. The pair, who hold dual American and British citizenship, arrived by private jet in Florida 12 hours later. They insist they are ‘misunderstood’ and that the charges against them are a ‘conspiracy’. It seems there are some in the White House who agree.

Iraqi cocaine dealer ‘too westernised to be deported’

An Iraqi man is the latest drug dealer to escape deportation from the UK after a judge ruled that he was too “westernised” to be returned to his home country.

The man, who was jailed for more than five years after a conviction for dealing cocaine, has lived in Britain for 24 years and has a British-born daughter.

Home Office officials attempted to have him deported but a specialist judge in the asylum tribunal ruled that returning the man to Iraq would violate his human rights as he would be “viewed with suspicion”.

NPR’s ‘Public Editor’ Lamely Dismisses Bias Claims, Pushes for Endless NPR Subsidies

NPR’s Public Editor is supposed to represent the audience. They proclaim, “The Public Editor stands as a source of independent accountability. Created by NPR’s board of directors, the Public Editor serves as a bridge between the newsroom and the audience.” But more often — especially now with the threat of defunding — there’s not independence or accountability. There’s just pro-NPR lobbying!
