At least 50 people die in Congo from mystery illness that kills within 48 hours

More than 50 people have died in north western Congo from an unknown illness which has been killing victims within 48 hours.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has dispatched a team of experts to the area to take samples and try to determine the cause.

The WHO’s Africa office said the first cases in the town of Boloko began after three children ate a bat and quickly died following haemorrhagic fever symptoms, Associated Press reported.

Bombshell FOI Emails Expose Secret Vaccine Experiments on Inuit Children

For three years, Canadian officials used Inuit children as guinea pigs for an experimental RSV vaccination program – without parental consent and without the knowledge or involvement of the Inuit population. This shocking revelation, buried in newly uncovered Freedom of Information (FOI) emails, is completely unrelated to COVID-19 – yet it raises damning questions about the government’s approach to public health experiments on Indigenous communities and all Canadians.

BBC Gaza documentary cameraman appears to celebrate October 7 attacks

Uncovered tweets of Hatem Rawagh raise further questions about film accused of being propaganda for Hamas

A cameraman on the BBC’s controversial Gaza documentary appeared to celebrate the October 7 massacre, The Telegraph can reveal.

Hatem Rawagh, who was listed as an additional cameraman in the credits of the film, posted two tweets apparently praising the worst terror attack in Israel’s history.

In one of the posts on X he appeared to applaud the killing of an Israeli soldier, sharing a video of a gunman which he said should be watched “a million” times.

I don’t think there’s any doubt that the BBC did produce Hamas propaganda.

Musk Calls to Congratulate Leader of German “Hard-Right” Party

The hard-right Alternative for Germany might not have done as well in Sunday’s election as its leaders had hoped, but its groundbreaking performance was enough for a congratulatory phone call from Elon Musk.

Alice Weidel, the chancellor candidate for the party, known by its German initials, AfD, told journalists on Monday morning that she had slept through a call from Mr. Musk, the world’s richest man and a top adviser to President Trump. When she looked at her phone on the morning after her party won 20.8 percent of the vote, she said, she had a missed call from the United States, which turned out to be from Mr. Musk, who, she said, “congratulated me personally.”

Movie Adds Muslims to Story of ‘William Tell’ for Diversity

Switzerland needs to be more diverse and apparently a movie about the life of William Tell also needs to be more diverse. Someone took a look at the legend of William Tell and decided, “this needs more Muslims.”

And there we are.

The new movie adaptation of the legend of William Tell throws in some added material by giving him a Muslim family.

Inside the Mojave Desert train heists targeting Nike sneakers

The thieves stealthily board eastbound freight trains, hiding out until they reach lonely stretches of the Mojave Desert or high plains far from towns. They slash an air brake hose, causing the mile-long line of railcars to screech to an emergency stop.

Then, they go shopping.

That’s the modus operandi described by investigators in a string of at least 10 heists targeting BNSF trains in California and Arizona since last March. All but one resulted in the theft of Nike sneakers, their combined value approaching $2 million, according to investigators.

The NSA’s Secret Sex Chats

The “intelligence community” is one of the most powerful parts of the American national security apparatus. In theory, it works tirelessly to keep the nation safe. But according to internal documents that we obtained, some intelligence agency employees have another on-the-job priority: sex chats.

We have cultivated sources within the National Security Agency—one current employee and one former employee—who have provided chat logs from the NSA’s Intelink messaging program. According to an NSA press official, “All NSA employees sign agreements stating that publishing non-mission related material on Intelink is a usage violation and will result in disciplinary action.” Nonetheless, these logs, dating back two years, are lurid, featuring wide-ranging discussions of sex, kink, polyamory, and castration.
