Canada’s Wonderland reopens with new chaperone policy

… This season, Canada’s Wonderland is also implementing a chaperone policy beginning May 1, which seems to be a deterrent for having any issues with young teens at the park.

As of 4 p.m. daily, all guests ages 15 years old or younger must be accompanied by a chaperone who is at least 21 years old in order to be admitted or to remain in the park.

Almost a third of police probes of diplomatic missions see subjects leave Canada

OTTAWA – Almost a third of police investigations involving members of foreign diplomatic missions in Canada between 2020 and 2025 saw the subjects of the probes leave the country before their cases could be resolved through the legal process.

Documents obtained by The Canadian Press through an access to information request list 67 incidents involving members of foreign missions that required police involvement over that time period.

In 22 of those cases, the person facing the criminal allegations left Canada before charges could be laid or the court process was completed.

Iran calls on ‘young people’ to form human chains around power plants

Iran calls on ‘young people’ to form human chains around power plants

Iranian officials called on “young people” to form human chains around the country’s power plants, in a desperate bid to ward off promised U.S. airstrikes on the country’s power grid.

Tuesday will mark the end of President Donald Trump’s delayed deadline for Iran to open the Strait of Hormuz and strike a deal, or face the destruction of its power plants. With no signs of Iranian and U.S. negotiators nearing a deal, Tuesday will see whether Trump will follow through on his threats. As a last-ditch defense measure, lacking air defenses to resist the strikes, Iranian officials have resorted to calling on the country’s youth to act as human shields, betting that Washington will shy away from extensive civilian casualties.

Meanwhile the regime’s children live it up in the west.

Jamie Sarkonak: Bill C-3, the Liberal gateway to making Canada the 51st state

Jamie Sarkonak: Bill C-3, the Liberal gateway to making Canada the 51st state

In December, the Liberals extended Canadian citizenship to everyone in the world over the age of three months who can prove that one of their ancestors was born here, no matter how far back.

This was the result of Bill C-3. It means that potentially millions of people with no natural democratic right to intervene in our politics will soon be able to vote in our elections. Millions who haven’t contributed a cent to our economy will become eligible for our social safety net. Among them will be organized criminals, terrorists spawned from parents who left Canada to engage in barbarism overseas, people who can’t speak English or French, scammers, drug dealers, and many more undesirables.

Ontario FOI changes will make it ‘less transparent than even the federal government’

Ontario’s transparency watchdog is renewing her calls for the Ford government to scrap its controversial freedom of information crackdown, saying the changes will make the province “less transparent than even the federal government.”

Shortly after a court concluded Premier Doug Ford was using his personal phone to conduct government business and ruled some of those records should be public, the province moved to change access to information laws.

Tourists visiting Chicago confronted by nightmarish Mad Max scene unfolding outside hotel window

A couple visiting Chicago were left confused and horrified by a Mad Max-style scene unfolding outside of their hotel window, as teen gangs continue to terrorize the city.

The pair, who were staying at the Hampton Inn near the South Loop, were woken up early on Sunday morning after youths gathered at an intersection and began drifting in circles.

As traffic backed up on either side of the intersection of Michigan Avenue and Cermak Road, a large group was seen crowding three cars spinning in the intersection.
