Diddy Defense Argues He was ‘Singled Out‘ Because He Is Black

Defense attorneys for Sean “Diddy” Combs are reportedly arguing that federal prosecutors “singled out” the disgraced music mogul because he is black, and claim authorities have demonstrated “bad faith” and “racial animus” in handling the case.

Combs’ attorneys made these assertions in a new court filing seeking to dismiss the music mogul’s prostitution charge, according to a report by ABC News.

Violent extremists are using antisemitism to recruit in Canada: CSIS report

…While the report says it is difficult to measure the precise level of antisemitism in Canada, it says the number of hate-motivated incidents directed at the Jewish and Arab/Muslim communities reported to police since Oct 7, 2023, have risen.

CBC had to reach back to 2017 for this pic of a demo which likely had nothing to do with antisemitism.

You mean it’s been white supremacists marching in our streets since Oct 7! Gosh!

Liberals getting money’s worth as media & pollsters release latest ginned up TDS poll

New poll says 27% of Canadians view the United States as an ‘enemy’ country

OTTAWA — A new poll suggests that more than a quarter of Canadians — 27 per cent — now see the United States as an “enemy” country, while another 30 per cent still say they consider the U.S. an ally.

Another 27 per cent of respondents to the Leger survey said they consider the United States to be a “neutral” country.

The poll comes as U.S. President Donald Trump threatens to impose economically devastating tariffs on Canada and has repeatedly pushed the idea that Canada should become a U.S. state.

French Mayor Says ‘I Don’t’ to Deportee Wedding

A right-wing mayor is being prosecuted for refusing to perform the civil wedding ceremony of an Algerian national who was under an obligation to leave French territory. Refusing to plead guilty, he must now stand trial in a criminal court. Parliamentarians are seizing on this grotesque situation to call for a change in the law.

In July 2023, Robert Ménard, mayor of the southern town of Béziers and a well-known figure of the French Right, refused to officiate the wedding of a French woman and an Algerian man who was under an obligation to leave French territory (obligation de quitter le territoire français or OQTF) and therefore present illegally in France at the time of the request. The couple then took the case to court, and the verdict was in: according to French law, a mayor has no right to refuse to conduct a wedding, for whatever reason.

Taken into custody alongside Lasota were alleged followers Daniel Blank, 26, and Michelle Zajko, 32, a person of interest in the double murder of her parents – both fatally shot in their heads at their home on New Year’s Eve 2022.

GameStop looks to sell its Canadian and French operations — CEO cites ‘Wokeness and DEI’

Brick and mortar videogame retailer and popular meme stock GameStop (GME) announced Tuesday that it plans to sell its operations in France and Canada after an “evaluation of its international assets.”

The latest move follows years of declining revenues for the company. The retailer has reportedly shuttered more than 700 of its stores around the world since 2020.

The company announced the move in a brief news release on its website. While the statement did not provide any further explanation of the decision, its CEO appears to have taken issue with the “wokeness” of the two countries.
