Policing chief drops diversity guide telling officers not to say ‘black sheep’

A policing chief has torn up a diversity guide that told officers not to use the term “black sheep” saying the public want crime solved not “virtue signalling”.

In a statement to The Telegraph, Jonathan Ash-Edwards, the Police and Crime Commissioner for Hertfordshire, said he had ordered a review of all such documents that “damage public trust and confidence in policing”.

It comes after The Telegraph revealed the nine-page diversity guide for staff at Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire forces that told police not to use the terms “black sheep” and “blacklisted” in case they offended someone.

Newly discovered ‘Christmas asteroid’ could collide with Earth

Rock wider than football pitch could have devastating impact if it hits our planet – which, according to Nasa scientists, is possible

An asteroid the width of a full-size football pitch could hit Earth in seven years, astronomers have warned.

A space rock between 40 and 100 metres wide was spotted on Christmas Day by a telescope in Chile, in South America, which specialises in identifying objects in space that could collide with our planet.

Analysis of the rock and its flight revealed it is moving away from Earth at around 38,000mph but its orbit will bring it into close proximity around Christmas 2032.

Sunny Hostin Scoffs at Woman Burned to Death By Illegal Immigrant

There was a disturbing display of heartlessness on Tuesday’s episode of The View as ABC News co-host Sunny Hostin scoffed at the story of Debrina Kawam, the 57-year-old who was burned to death on a New York City subway on New Year’s Eve by a criminal illegal immigrant. She demanded Americans ignore such instances of illegal immigrants killing people and “care and the stats and the facts” that supposedly show they’re peaceful. She proclaimed this after saying America “lacks empathy” for illegals.
