The French-language channel gives space to leftist and Islamist parties, but censors ‘right-wing’ views to “avoid normalising” them.

French-language Belgian television (RTBF) distinguished itself on the occasion of Donald Trump’s inauguration by broadcasting his speech not live but with a delay that was supposed to allow ‘politically dangerous remarks’ to be examined. How the corporatization of vet clinics is driving up prices across the country

When Maja Terzic brought her sick cat to the vet, she agreed to a few hundred dollars in blood work to hopefully find out what was wrong with him. Guppy was then whisked away to a back room.

“I was just kind of in the dark, I didn’t know what was happening,” Terzic said.

An hour later, she was handed a $1,100 bill, full of tests and treatments she says she never agreed to.

When asked by Kapelos why he’s turning away from a policy he’s defended for years, Guilbeault added his government’s climate plan doesn’t rest on one single measure.
