Family-owned restaurant forced to close after ‘frivolous’ gender discrimination ‘Ladies Night’ suit

A popular restaurant in California’s Bay Area is shutting its doors after settling a costly discrimination lawsuit — over its ‘Ladies Night’ promotion.

Lima Restaurant — a family-run Peruvian eatery in Concord, Calif., about 20 miles outside of Oakland — told patrons it will serve its final meal on New Year’s Eve because of the gender discrimination lawsuit.

Chef/owner John Marquez said the lawsuit, filed last year, has cost his restaurant tens of thousands of dollars — putting a major dent in the business’ cash flow.

Animosity Against Jews Demonstrates Leftist Icon Greta Thunberg’s Extremism

Greta Thunberg, once the darling of the climate change movement, has revealed herself as virulently anti-Israel, which should make her a pariah in any legitimate social or political cause. Former Pentagon official and military witness come forward with shocking UFO revelations as ‘drone’ wave leaves Americans on edge

A US military witness with over 25 years of experience has revealed his own late night encounter with a UFO, that lit up his campsite and ‘made absolutely no noise.’

The event came less than a month before a more senior ex-Pentagon counter-intel official, Luis Elizondo, testified before Congress accusing government actors of secretly working to ‘hide the fact that we are not alone in the cosmos.’

The October 21, 2024 campsite UFO, according to the military witness who requested anonymity, hovered as close as 100 yards above him along the treeline: ‘The entire area lit up brighter than the brightest full moon I’ve ever seen,’ he reported.

Maher has debated, met, and, at times, befriended those Hollywood views as anathema; he’s friends with Ann Coulter.

Jamie Sarkonak: Good on Liberals for calling off HIV decriminalization review

There was a time when HIV was a death sentence. Nowadays, it’s a life sentence of antiretroviral medication. Which is why the Liberals, since 2016, have been thinking of softening the law on HIV non-disclosure.

That is, until the end of November, when Justice Minister Arif Virani’s office confirmed to the Star that no reforms were on the way. It’s a blow to the longtime efforts of HIV advocacy groups who have some valid concerns about the law, but it’s probably for the best.

CNN journalists offer brutal assessment of why their network is failing – “We’re not Trump Deranged enough”

CNN’s stubbornly leftist journalists think they know why their viewers are abandoning ship in record numbers – they’re not going hard enough against Donald Trump anymore.

That is the suggestion from reporters who spoke anonymously to The Washington Post this week as the network recovered from some of its lowest ratings ever.

Insiders claim a decision to hold a town hall with the president-elect back in May 2023 upset staff and viewers, as did the decision not to fact check Trump during his debate earlier this year.
