Carson Jerema: Does Mélanie Joly know she works for Hamas?

Frere Jacques Frere Jacques Dormez Vous …

Justin Trudeau’s Liberals might imagine themselves as taking a balanced view of Israel’s war against Hamas in Gaza, but again and again, the government sides with the terrorist thugs who started the fighting. Since Hamas killed, unprovoked, close to 1,200 people, mostly civilians, in Israel on October 7, Trudeau has said repeatedly that Canada supports the Jewish state’s “right to defend itself.” But such words are clearly a lie, because the only right the government is standing up for is the right for Hamas to manipulate the West into turning against a democratic ally.

Terror suspect accused of plotting attack in New York came to Canada on student visa: minister

A man who was arrested last week for allegedly attempting to enter the U.S. illegally to carry out a mass shooting came to Canada on a student visa, Canada’s immigration minister says.

Immigration Minister Marc Miller said Tuesday that Khan, a Pakistani national, obtained a student visa in May 2023 and arrived in Canada in June of that same year. He said he wouldn’t be providing any further details about the suspect.

The Criminally Stupid Chiefs Who Set Up a Secret Starlink WiFi Network aboard the USS Manchester

Ever since the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, there has been much meme-making and online laughter generated by the unbelievably careless use of cellphones by Russian troops in the combat zone.

Indeed, using a cellphone, accessing the Web, and posting images (and sometimes your GPS location!) to social media while someone is trying to kill you with precision munitions seems pretty dumb. It has also been amazingly common over the last two and a half years of war.

This prisoner release reveals the idiocy of technocracy

More than 1,700 prisoners are being released early today. By the end of October, prisons in England and Wales are expected to let out as many as 5,500 offenders prematurely, after they have served just 40 per cent of their sentences.

The threat this prisoner release poses to the public is not in any doubt. Martin Jones, the chief inspector of probation, says it is a ‘certainty’ that many of those let out will reoffend. He expects ‘a third’ to commit further crimes. Many will be back in jail within ‘days or weeks’ for breaching their terms.

Amazon rejects plea to stop selling taxi roof signs as cab scam spreads across Canada

After a long day at a work event in July, Kathryn Kozody was relieved when she spotted a car with a lit-up taxi sign.

She thought it was odd when the driver told her she’d have to pay her fare with a debit card. Still, a tired Kozody hopped in the car.

“I was like, ‘Fine, it’s kind of weird, but let’s go home,'” said Kozody, who lives in Calgary.

All those foreign workers gotta get paid ya know.

Murder of teen by ‘cow vigilantes’ exposes India’s religious divide

The killing of a Hindu teenager by a group of “cow vigilantes” who thought he was Muslim has laid bare how mob violence in the name of protecting holy animals has become normalised in Narendra Modi’s India.

Aryan Mishra, 19, was travelling in a car with friends in the northern city of Faridabad when they were spotted and chased by another vehicle for some 18 miles, apparently on suspicion of being Muslim cow smugglers.
