Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was slammed for her apparent hypocrisy after putting JD Vance on blast for ‘manspreading’ – then quickly being caught in the same sitting position.

The New York congresswoman reacted with distaste to a clip of Vance sitting comfortably in a cushy, wide chair – with his legs spread in a relaxed manner.

‘Why are you sitting like that,’ she wrote on Tuesday, in an apparent jab at Vance’s spread eagle stance.

Toronto police investigating after video appears to show officer giving citizen the middle finger

Toronto police say an internal investigation is underway after a video circulating on social media appeared to show an officer giving a citizen the middle finger over an argument about alleged illegal parking last week.

In the video, which has been viewed more than 425,000 times on TikTok, two Toronto police officers are seen ordering Starbucks in the area of Front and Berkeley streets near the city’s Distillery District on Friday afternoon.

Man arrested after multiple Hamas supporters attacked his vehicle on Gardiner Expressway

A man has been arrested after multiple protesters were struck on the Gardiner Expressway Tuesday morning, Toronto police said.

The protest started on the expressway at Jarvis Street and involved about 40 people, prompting road closures in the area, Toronto police said.

Police would not confirm what the protest was about.

Pakistani businessman set ablaze in Canada

In Surrey, Canada, Rahat Rao, a Pakistani-Canadian entrepreneur, was attacked and set on fire by an unidentified assailant after attending protests related to the death of Khalistani figure Hardeep Singh Nijjar.

The attack took place on Friday when a man in his mid-20s targeted Rao, who is now in critical condition at a hospital.

Reports have confirmed that Rao has no connections to Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). The Canadian police have issued a photo of the suspect.
