Outrage as drag queen leads young kids in ‘Free Palestine’ chant: ‘Wrong on every level’

Drag Queens For Palestine – I wanna be there when Hamas tosses this guy off a roof.

Video of a drag queen in Massachusetts leading a group of young kids to chant “Free Palestine” has sparked fierce backlash — with some calling it “indoctrination” that is “wrong on every level.”

The encounter, which unfolded at a “Queer Storytime for Palestine” event organized by the Valley Families for Palestine group in Amherst last week, had gone viral by Thursday as outrage mounted.

Harvey Weinstein rape conviction overturned by NY appeals court

A New York appeals court overturned Harvey Weinstein’s 2020 rape conviction Thursday, ordering a new trial in a stunning reversal of a landmark #MeToo case.

In a 4-3 decision, the appeals court found that Weinstein’s trial judge allowed prosecutors to call women who said Weinstein had assaulted them to testify even though their accusations didn’t specifically relate to the entertainment mogul’s charges.

Naomi Klein calls for ‘Exodus from Zionism’

Renowned Canadian Jewish author and columnist Naomi Klein called for an “exodus from Zionism,” denouncing the ideology as a “false idol” that has strayed from the core values of Judaism, in an op-ed for The Guardian.

In her piece, Klein used biblical allegory to draw attention to the recent conflict between Israel and Gaza, condemning Zionism for turning the “transcendent idea of the promised land” into a “deed of sale for a militaristic ethnostate.”

Klein’s piece directly challenged the traditional view of Zionism as a movement for Jewish liberation, instead portraying it as an ideology that has justified oppression, colonialism, and violence in the name of Jewish safety.

The Israel-Hamas conflict is now as much an intramural affair as religious war.

Michael Oren: FBI must investigate money trail behind campus antisemitic protests

… This shift has notably affected disciplines like American Studies, which have become distinctly anti-American, Oren continued. He also pointed out that even some Jewish academics have joined the anti-Israel chorus, failing to recognize the potential negative consequences for themselves. “They fail to see that this path also ends badly for them.”

Reflecting on Passover, Oren cited the Haggadah’s story of the Wicked Son, which he believes mirrors the stance of those who don’t identify with their own people and criticize Israel’s defenders. “It’s the best image for these people who keep saying that if you defend Israel, you’re a bad Jew. Eventually, they’ll become one of the bad Jews themselves. This movement is a deep-seated cultural trend that has taken decades to evolve, and undoing it may also take decades,” said Oren.

Oh Brother … Star wets itself because Poilievre met with folks who hate Trudeau

Pierre Poilievre is courting support from groups that spew hate. Is this really the alternative to Justin Trudeau we want?

Perhaps Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre was feeling too comfortable.

After all, his party is ahead of the Liberals by 20 points in public opinion polls. The poll aggregator 338Canada.com has the Conservatives winning a 207-seat majority in the House of Commons, if an election were held today — a Brian Mulroney-sized landslide, and that’s without the Bloc Québécois’ seats.

The Conservatives, according to Abacus Data, lead across all age brackets, education brackets, even gender lines.

Trudeau’s media is getting desperate. At this stage outside of Toronto and Ottawa you’d be hard pressed to find anyone who likes Junior.

The Diagalonians should sue the Star.

RCMP documents contradict mainstream media claims Diagalon is a ‘far-right threat’

Internal RCMP documents reveal law enforcement concluded controversial Diagolon does “not pose a criminal or national security threat,” contrary to the Public Safety Minister’s remarks.

Toronto Catholic school board rejects pro-life flag motion after voting for LGBT flag in 2021

TORONTO (LifeSiteNews) –– In what appears to be a betrayal of the faith, the Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB) last night voted against trustee Michael Del Grande’s motion seeking to have pro-life flags flown on top of all district buildings in the month of May. The same board in 2021 voted in favor of flying the gay “pride” flags at atop its schools.

The vote against Del Grande’s pro-life motion happened during a regular board meeting Tuesday night, which was packed with supporters of his motion.

So why call yourself Catholic?

Vivian Bercovici: Trudeau’s response to Ottawa hate rally too little, too late

Late in the afternoon on Saturday, April 13, massive street parties popped up in Toronto, Montreal and elsewhere in Canada, celebrating the launch of over 300 ballistic missiles and attack drones by the Islamic Republic of Iran targeting sites in Israel.

On Oct. 7, 2023, while Hamas terrorists were still slaughtering, mutilating, burning and kidnapping civilians in Israel, spontaneous parties across Canada were in full swing. They were ecstatic, openly calling for the destruction of Israel and the killing of any and all Jews.

Islamophobia provoker’s wild claim that anti-Israel extremism is a “few individual protesters”

In a lengthy social media post, Elghawaby referred to the chant as “a few individual protesters engaged in problematic speech” — and said that it was “patently false and harmful” to insinuate that the chant was representative of the protest as a whole. Most protesters, she said, were peacefully trying to stop the “decimation of an entire population in Gaza.”
