Feds push back release date of foreign interference inquiry report

Justice Marie-Josee Corrupt

The first report from the inquiry into foreign interference in federal elections is now set to come out two months later than originally planned.

Public Safety Minister Dominic LeBlanc announced Thursday the federal government has granted Justice Marie-Josée Hogue an extension on her interim report on foreign interference in federal elections.

According to her terms of reference, Hogue was set to deliver an interim report by the end of February and a final report by the end of 2024.

Guess they need more time to destroy evidence.

New Palestinian restaurant in Brooklyn faces backlash for ‘openly genocidal’ phrase on menu

A newly opened Palestinian restaurant in Brooklyn has sparked ire with its menus that include the antisemitic phrase “From the river to the sea” — with locals bashing its owners for being “openly genocidal.”

Ayat owners Abdul Elenani and Ayat Masoud opened their third location earlier this month in Ditmas Park, where menus feature the phrase, “From river to sea” to label its seafood section as well as a crying Palestinian woman with the words “Down with the occupation.”

The 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV Left Me Stranded In Rural Virginia

My weeklong test of the 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV lasted 28 hours. That’s when it broke down during an Electrify America charging session that left me stranded in rural Western Virginia.

A drive that should have taken about seven hours, not including two hour-long stops in Gallipolis, Ohio, and Wytheville, Virginia, turned into a 14-hour ordeal. It saw me abandoning a car that seems quite pivotal to the future of General Motors on the side of the road in small-town America.

Trudeau Funnels $840,000 to Guilbeault’s Old Organization

The Trudeau government finds itself embroiled in controversy yet again over allegations of misusing taxpayer funds to benefit allied interests. The latest case centers on a series of questionable grants to the environmental group Equiterre, an organization with close ties to Liberal cabinet minister Steven Guilbeault.

This incident is part of a pattern of accusations that public money has improperly flowed to third-party groups whose agendas align with and amplify Liberal policies. The cozy arrangements allow the government to effectively outsource promotion of its agenda by funding sympathetic organizations like Equiterre.

In Texas, nearly 18,000 cows died in a single barn fire. This is how it happened

18.000 Cows – World’s Biggest BBQ

CASTRO COUNTY, Texas – The aroma of cow manure rode the spring breeze, as it always does in this stretch of Texas panhandle, where the wind lifts an endless fog of microscopic particles that infuse every mile with an earthy scent, the smell of business.

As dusk descended on the South Fork Dairy on April 10, workers busied themselves with the evening shift. Some refilled hay bins. Others checked on pregnant cows or hosed down equipment.

Extracting 24 semi-truck loads of milk from 17,500 cows daily requires a round-the-clock operation, but the crew would not be hindered by the gathering dusk. Much of this farm’s operation was indoors.

AOC’s moral, religious, and historic Christmas confusion

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), New York’s millennial congresswoman, believes herself the barometer of progressive morality. But by reframing Jesus as akin to Palestinian terrorists fighting Israel, she instead cloaks herself in a mantle of ignorance and moral confusion.

Conflating political and religious fervor, AOC took to Instagram on Christmas Eve to opine, “In the story of Christmas, Christ was born in modern-day Palestine under the threat of a government engaged in the mass genocide of innocents. He was part of a targeted population being indiscriminately killed to protect an unjust leader’s power,” she wrote. “Thousands of years later, right-wing forces are violently occupying Bethlehem as similar stories unfold for today’s Palestinians, so much so that the Christian community in Bethlehem has canceled this year’s Christmas Eve celebrations.”
