North Koreans ‘sealed off and starved to death in pandemic’

North Koreans starved to death during the Covid-19 pandemic, according to a recent defector from the country, who also described the execution of a man for listening to South Korean music.

The man, identified only as Kim, escaped last May with eight other members of his family, including young children, and made the dangerous escape to South Korea by boat. His account is impossible to verify independently but, if accurate, it suggests that food shortages in parts of North Korea have been worse than many outside observers have assumed.

Justin is salivating.

Can the Palestinian Authority Be ‘Revitalized’? Can the Cat Guard the Cream?

The Biden administration is continuing to promote the idea of having a “revitalized” Palestinian Authority (PA) govern the Gaza Strip after the Israel-Hamas war. US President Joe Biden and Secretary of State Antony Blinken used the phrase “revitalized Palestinian Authority” to express support for placing the Gaza Strip, currently ruled by the Iran-backed Hamas terrorist group, under the control of the PA, headed by Mahmoud Abbas. On December 2, Vice President Kamala Harris became the latest official to promote the idea that “we have to revitalize the Palestinian Authority” to prepare it for ruling the Gaza Strip after the war.

The White House has further suggested that Palestinians “should be the determining voice” in who governs them.

Products returned to Amazon found at Toronto liquidation stores — along with buyers’ personal info

Ottawa resident Arthur Stewart said he was “surprised” and “concerned” to learn a package he returned to Amazon’s fulfilment centre in Mississauga, Ont., was recently being sold at a liquidation store in Toronto — with the shipping label showing his full name, home address and phone number clearly visible.

“I have no issue with the fact that Amazon or any other retailer would be able to resell things that are returned or things that don’t get sold,” Stewart said in an interview.

“My issue is that they aren’t taking adequate steps to protect the privacy of people.”

Canada considering options to get extended family of Canadians out of Gaza

Immigration Minister Marc Miller says he is considering options to get the extended family members of Canadians out of the embattled Gaza Strip.

Most Canadians with extended family members in Gaza have been told their family doesn’t qualify to come to Canada, leaving them helpless.

The NDP caucus wrote an open letter to the government asking for special immigration visas that would allow Canadians can get their parents, siblings and adult children to safety.

Bullshit.

Rate of sexual assault in the Canadian Armed Forces rising, StatCan survey suggests

OTTAWA – A new report from Statistics Canada suggests the problem of sexual misconduct in the military is getting worse.

The survey suggests 3.5 per cent of Canadian Armed Forces personnel say they were sexually assaulted by another military member in 2022.

… Victims of these assaults were more likely to be women, the survey found, and they were disproportionately younger, Indigenous, members of the LGBTQ+ community or people with disabilities.

Maybe the CAF needs to go to a healing lodge.

Faces of Muslim ‘Abandon Biden’ movement accused of wife beating, Hamas links

WASHINGTON — A campaign calling on Muslim-Americans to oppose President Biden’s re-election bid over his support for Israel’s invasion of the Gaza Strip includes men accused of spousal abuse and ties to the Hamas terror group, as well as one advocate of whipping as a form of punishment, The Post has learned.

The leaders of the “Abandon Biden” movement piled onto a Hampton Inn stage Saturday in Dearborn, Mich., to slam the 81-year-old commander-in-chief for not forcing Israel to halt its incursion in response to the murders of 1,200 people — including 33 Americans — Oct. 7.

Wife beating is what good Mohammedans do!
