GOLDSTEIN: Trudeau says Muslim parents who object to gender identity education misled by ‘far right’

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says Muslim parents who object to their children being taught about gender identity issues in schools are being fed “misinformation and disinformation” by “the American right-wing” and the “far right.”

What a despicable punk. Justin thinks Muslims are so stupid they’ll believe anything he says.

Welcome to the weird world of transfishing

When biological women pretend to be trans for clout

A woman behind a popular Instagram meme account, @manicpixie.transgirl, with 34,900 followers, this week admitted that she had been “transfishing.” In other words: she was a cis woman who had been lying the whole time about being trans. Welcome to the other side of the coin of the very similar, controversial “transtrending”: when people pretend to be transgender without altering their appearance. For example, a gender-conforming man who claims he is a transgender woman for attention or pity may be a “transtrender,” where a natal woman who purposefully dresses or speaks in a particular way and claims she is trans is a “transfisher.”

Fox News is sued for defamation by January 6 protestor Ray Epps after Tucker Carlson branded him a federal agent who ‘helped stage-manage the insurrection’

A former Marine and Trump supporter is suing Fox News for defamation over claims he helped incite the January 6 riots.

Ray Epps, 61, claims in a new lawsuit that he became the subject of various conspiracy theories after comments by the network’s former host Tucker Carlson.

The suit states: ‘Just as Fox had focused on voting machine companies when falsely claiming a rigged election, Fox knew it needed a scapegoat for January 6th.

Seattle public schools will offer ‘gender affirming care’ to students as young as 11 years old at no cost

Schools in Seattle are currently offering free ‘gender affirming care’ to students as young as 11, a prominent parental rights organization has found – already enraging parents.

The service, laid bare in documents obtained by Parents Defending Education (PDE) this week, is provided by medical provider Country Doctor Community Health Centers – a facility that already offers hormone therapy and sex-change surgeries for adolescents.

PDE announced the arrangement Tuesday, singling out two health centers in particular – both of which are set in Seattle public schools.

Doug Ford not impressed with Olivia Chow’s threat to take the province to court

WINNIPEG— Premier Doug Ford is not impressed with comments made by new Toronto Mayor Olivia Chow — but says he expects she’ll work “collaboratively” with the province.

“The comments are disappointing — you know, already her first comments are about going to court,” he said Wednesday.

Chow has said the city will sue the province if it expropriates land for its Ontario Place plans, while also calling the province and federal governments “reluctant partners” when it comes to funding for Toronto.

H&R Block, tax firms allegedly sent Mark Zuckerberg’s META info on tens of millions of taxpayers

Three large tax preparation firms sent “extraordinarily sensitive” information on tens of millions of taxpayers to Facebook parent company Meta over the course of at least two years, a group of congressional Democrats reported Wednesday.

Their report urges federal agencies to investigate and potentially go to court over the wealth of information that H&R Block, TaxAct and TaxSlayer shared with the social media giant.

Ukraine to rely on security guarantees from individual G7 allies until it joins NATO

He didn’t get everything he wanted, but Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was set to leave the NATO summit in Lithuania on Wednesday with fresh guarantees of allied support and weapons to continue the war with Russia.

His government had asked to be admitted to NATO on an expedited basis, much as Finland and Sweden had recently been.

No invitation was presented at the two-day gathering, but NATO delivered the assurance that it was committed to letting Ukraine join — when conditions allowed, meaning at the conclusion of the war. It did remove one condition of membership, a set of political, economic and military goals that members must meet before entry, but importantly, the alliance did not set a timeline for accepting the East European country.

Dylan Mulvaney doesn’t ‘feel safe’ in US over Bud Light backlash, travels to South America

Dylan Mulvaney had sought a change of scenery in Peru Monday “to feel safe” as the blowback from her partnership with Bud Light continues to unravel.

The transgender influencer said she no longer felt safe at home in the US after raising ire among critics over becoming a rep for the beer brand in a March Madness contest.

After finally returning to social media in April following a tight-lipped hiatus, Mulvaney is seemingly doing some solo travel around the world to get her mind off things back home.

Twisted: Parents, staff demand TDSB force your child to attend drag queen storytime

Parents and staff are demanding that the Toronto District School Board stop allowing students to opt out of drag queen storytime events.

Toronto Pflag and the board’s 2SLGBTQ+ Community Advisory Committee have been advocating unsuccessfully for weeks since the issue over attendance and consent arose at a Pride celebration at Bruce Public School in early June. They say the opt-out violates the Ontario Human Rights Code and are calling for an apology for the harm caused by the decision. The board, they add, has not been particularly responsive.

The TDSB is saying no to the Groomers by passing the blame to the province though I believe the fear of a Muslim community in revolt motivates their decision.

Gonna need more popcorn.
