Currently, Canada’s federal guidelines for medical assistance in dying include having a grievous and irremediable medical condition, making a voluntary request for medical assistance in dying that is not the result of outside pressure or influence, and giving informed consent to receive medical assistance in dying.

As a graduate student, she came with funding in her pocket. But as an international student, she wasn’t familiar with the local cuisine, and was shocked by how expensive it was.

“In my country, you can get vegetables anywhere. And you can bargain and reduce the prices,” Nadkarni said. “So it’s easily available, it’s so accessible, and it’s way cheaper.”

Bridgerton star Adjoa Andoh called the Royal family’s balcony appearance during the Coronation “terribly white”.

Investigators examine Texas gunman’s white supremacist views after 8 killed

ALLEN, Tex. — The gunman who opened fire on an outlet mall in a Dallas suburb on Saturday, killing at least eight people, had an apparent fascination with white supremacist or neo-Nazi beliefs that are now being examined by investigators as a possible motive for the attack, people familiar with the investigation said Sunday.

Mauricio Garcia, a Dallas resident in his early 30s, had multiple weapons on him and five additional guns in his car nearby, said people familiar with the investigation who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss the ongoing probe.

SUV driver ‘intentionally plows into crowd outside a Texas migrant and homeless shelter – killing at least seven and injuring 11 others

At least seven people have been killed and multiple were left injured after a car struck a group of people outside a migrant shelter in Brownsville, Texas.

The Range Rover SUV is believed to have ‘intentionally’ plowed into pedestrians waiting at a bus stop outside the Ozanam Center at 8.20am on Saturday.

Police have arrested the driver following the horrific scenes in the border town and the FBI and Border Patrol agents have been brought in to investigate.
