UN report calls for decriminalization of all sexual activity, including between adults and children

A new report from the United Nations has called for all forms of drug use and sexual activity to be decriminalized globally.

Written by the International Committee of Jurists (ICJ), UNAIDS and the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), the report was released on International Women’s Day, with the goal of guiding “the application of international human rights law to criminal law.” Called the “8 March principles,” the report calls for offenses related to “sex, drug use, HIV, sexual and reproductive health, homelessness and poverty” to be decriminalized.

How to build your own coffin

The modern undertaking industry is a massive con

I have inadvertently built my own coffin. I’m rather pleased with it. It wasn’t meant to be a coffin. It’s actually a boat. My son found a YouTube video on how to make one, and although these videos are normally created by practical men for other practical men (I am the world’s most impractical man), I watched it and thought: “Even I could do that.” It’s essentially an open-top plywood box, eight feet by two feet by one foot, with a 45-degree angle at the front to make it look slightly less like a box.

Leaked Pentagon docs show the shot-down Chinese spy balloon may have had a feature known as ‘synthetic aperture radar’ that can see through certain materials, WaPo reports

In February, a high-altitude balloon with surveillance capabilities connected to China flew over the continental US before being shot down over the Atlantic.

At the time, much about the balloon wasn’t known publicly, but a new trove of Pentagon documents leaked on Discord show it — and up to four other previously unknown spy balloons like it — could have had a feature known as “synthetic aperture radar” that can see through certain objects, the Washington Post reported.

Jack Teixeira, a 21-year-old US National Guard airman, was arrested Thursday in connection to the leaks.

Florida retiree says lesbian squatters with ’15’ pit bulls trashed rental property she owns to tune of $38,000

A Florida retiree said lesbian squatters, who own up to 15 pit bulls, caused $38,000 worth of damages at her rental property after lying to police saying they paid a deposit and had been scammed by the landlord.

Patti Peeples and her co-owner Dawn Tiura discovered they had two people illegally living in their Jacksonville rental home more than 40 days ago and believe the unidentified squatters had been there since March.

They discovered the female couple – who haven’t been named, and who were evicted on Tuesday – living in their home after Peeples sent a handyman to carry out routine repairs after their previous tenants left.

Bill C-11 will create ‘surge’ in Crap Canadian TV shows no one watches, say internal government memos

Bill C-11 will create ‘surge’ in Canadian TV shows, say internal government memos

The online streaming bill will lead to an $86-million annual “surge” in new Canadian TV production, and may lead to more TV and film being classified as official Canadian content, internal Heritage Department documents predict.

The papers, obtained by University of Ottawa law professor Michael Geist under access-to-information laws, also reveal that YouTube is the only social-media platform likely to come within the scope of bill C-11, which will modernize broadcasting laws to cover streaming platforms.

No one watches CanCon now, are they suggesting they’ll force us to because everything else will be blacked out?
