Experts Consulted for Public Health Agency Report Say Capitalism, White Supremacy Partly to Blame for Climate Change

… “It’s really about the foundations of our society, the capitalist system, the culture of extraction, and we need to change that. How do we do that?” one expert asked in the report released on April 17.

“If we don’t address capitalism, if we don’t address colonialism, racism, the patriarchy etcetera we are going to tread water for a long time until we eventually drown,” said another.

The report, titled, “What We Heard: Perspectives On Climate Change And Public Health In Canada,” was commissioned by Canada’s Chief Public Health Officer Theresa Tam in order to analyze the impact of climate change on the health and well-being of Canadians, as well as to identify “how public health systems need to be strengthened to undertake this work.”

I have always thought Tam was working for the ChiComs for some reason.

Mob ransacks gas station store and steals thousands of dollars worth of alcohol, snacks and condoms during illegal street takeover

A massive mob ransacked a Los Angeles gas station and stole thousands of dollars worth of alcohol, condoms and snacks during an illegal street takeover – as cops said they were unable to intervene due to being outnumbered.

Footage from Sunday around 2am showed a group stopping traffic in the Compton intersection of Alondra Boulevard and Central Avenue to drift their cars before charging toward a nearby Arco.

Deputies said they couldn’t intervene as a mob of about 100 people broke the windows of a mini-mart and wiped it clean because they worried about their safety, according to ABC 7.

FBI ordered to release documents about bureau’s response to NSBA letter

The FBI must comply with a Freedom of Information Act request seeking records about the bureau’s response to a 2021 letter from the National School Boards Association that labeled parent protesters domestic terrorists, a federal judge in Washington, D.C., ruled.

In the four-page order, U.S. District Judge Trevor McFadden said last week that the Department of Justice had “dragged its feet” in responding to a FOIA request filed by the government watchdog group Protect the Public’s Trust that sought records from the FBI and other DOJ entities about their response to a September 2021 letter from the NSBA that requested the Biden administration and the DOJ investigate protests and threats against school board members under federal domestic terrorism laws.

What the Palestinian Terrorist’s Mother Told Him…

When a teenager informs his parent that he intends to do something rash, any normal, responsible parent tries to dissuade him. “Don’t do something crazy just because your friends are doing it.” Or “But that will go on your permanent record.” Or “I’m not giving you the car keys if that’s where you’re going.”

But that’s not the response that 16-year-old Muntasir Al-Shawa got when he recently informed his mother that he intended to carry out a terrorist attack against Israeli Jews. Instead, she gave him tips on how to properly prepare himself to carry out the attack.

The pantomime of pardoning witches

Their descendants are clinging on to past trauma

On the surface, there was nothing extraordinary about the lives of John and Joan Carrington. He was a carpenter in his late forties with a small estate, mostly eaten up by debts, in the town of Wethersfield in Connecticut. She was his wife and mother to their daughter, Rebecca, and son, John junior, from a previous marriage. But in February 1651, the couple was charged with “familiarity with Satan, the great enemy of God and mankind”, with whose power they had performed “works above the course of nature”. Both were found guilty, sentenced to death and hanged at Hartford.

AOC Concealed Thousands In Campaign Spending, Ethics Complaint Alleges

Democratic New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez concealed thousands of dollars in campaign spending, an ethics complaint exclusively obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation alleges.

The Federal Election Commission (FEC) complaint cites more than $9,600 in reported campaign credit card expenditures that lacked information on the purpose of the charges. Dan Backer filed the complaint on behalf of the Coolidge Reagan Foundation, a nonprofit organization that’s levied similar complaints.

University ‘blocks’ academic from her own gender wars research over ‘dangerous’ data

City, University of London, insists it is committed to free and open-minded discussion
