Iran’s Mullahs Can Never Change, Never Be ‘Friends’

For more than four decades, many Western politicians have entertained the hope that negotiations with the Islamist regime in Iran might lead to a change in its behavior and attitude toward the West. Time and again, diplomatic overtures, economic incentives and concessions have been extended to Tehran in the hope that engagement could moderate its policies. Yet, every attempt at diplomacy has failed. Unfortunately, it will continue to fail. Like it or not, the nature of the Iranian regime is inseparable from its ideological foundations. The Islamic Republic of Iran is not a normal state, or even a conventional dictatorship. It is an ideological entity that derives its very identity from opposition to the United States, Israel and the West.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs pleads not guilty to updated indictment

Diddy and Clinton: Scumbags R’US

Sean “Diddy” Combs has pleaded not guilty to an amended indictment that includes new allegations of forced labour.

The superseding indictment alleges the rap mogul forced employees to work long hours under threat of physical and reputational harm and forced at least one worker to engage in sex acts with him.

Mr Combs’s lawyers have denied that the rap mogul has ever forced anyone into sex acts and that the case revolves around consensual relationships with his girlfriends, the New York Times reports.

Canadian Forces seeks sole source deal for U.S. weapons while Trump continues attacks on Canada

Canada’s military leadership is pushing for yet another sole source deal for American equipment despite U.S. President Donald Trump’s vow to economically damage this country and eventually annex it as the 51st state.

The Canadian Forces wants the Liberal government to purchase the U.S.-built High Mobility Artillery Rocket System or HIMARS, according to defence industry officials.

US launches wave of air strikes on Yemen’s Houthis

The US has launched a “decisive and powerful” wave of air strikes on Houthi rebels in Yemen, President Donald Trump has said, citing the armed group’s attacks on shipping in the Red Sea.

“Funded by Iran, the Houthi thugs have fired missiles at US aircraft, and targeted our Troops and Allies,” Trump wrote on his Truth social platform, adding this had cost “billions of dollars” and put lives at risk.

GOLDSTEIN: Liberal media jump on board ‘Team Carney’ campaign

Let’s begun by debunking the myth – aided and abetted by the liberal media – that Prime Minister Mark Carney killed carbon pricing on Friday through a cabinet decree.

The most egregious example of this was buried in a CBC report on Thursday that Carney was “once a proponent of carbon pricing” implying he no longer is, which is an example of media disinformation of the type CBC is constantly warning us about.

Lutnick on if U.S., Canada Ending Tariffs on Each Other Is Possible: We Want to Bring Jobs Back

On Thursday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “The Story,” Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick responded to a question on if it’s possible to get to a place where the United States and Canada reciprocally end tariffs on each other by stating that “we want to bring back those jobs to America.”

Lutnick said, “Canada exists leaning on our economy. Let’s face it, cars used to be made in America. Why did Michigan’s cars move to Canada? To break out of the UAW. That’s just unfair to American workers and American union workers…

Opposition parties slam Trudeau cabinet’s future appointments to government agencies

Prime Minister Mark Carney should review a series of future appointments made by his predecessor’s government and shouldn’t automatically accept them, Green Party Co-Leader Elizabeth May said Friday.

In an interview with CBC News, May said appointments have to be filled but it was “a huge mistake” to make so many of those appointments in the final days of Justin Trudeau’s government.

“Any last-minute appointments of people who, I’m pretty sure, are likely to be Liberals, raises the worst possible political optics and it reinforces the idea that Trudeau was aiding and abetting his cronies throughout.”

Draft List for New Travel Ban Proposes Trump Target 43 Countries

The Trump administration is considering targeting the citizens of as many as 43 countries as part of a new ban on travel to the United States that would be broader than the restrictions imposed during President Trump’s first term, according to officials familiar with the matter.

A draft list of recommendations developed by diplomatic and security officials suggests a “red” list of 11 countries whose citizens would be flatly barred from entering the United States. They are Afghanistan, Bhutan, Cuba, Iran, Libya, North Korea, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Venezuela and Yemen, the officials said.

Why doesn’t Mark Carney have a gender-balanced cabinet? Because it’s 2025

New prime minister Mark Carney didn’t go out of his way to be a champion for women with his cabinet choices unveiled at Rideau Hall on Friday — and that could be a deliberate effort to walk back what critics called the “woke” feminist brand of Justin Trudeau.

It might also be a reflection of how Carney has been leaning on a team heavily weighted with male advisers, as many have observed since his leadership campaign launched.

The Star is already running damage control for Carney.

A similar Conservative cabinet would be described as a new Dark Age descending upon our blighted land.

It’s fortunate for Poilievre the Liberal media continues to overplay its hand with biased reporting.

Electric cars ‘so heavy they can smash through motorway barriers’

Heavy electric cars are more likely to smash through crash barriers, putting lives at risk, a transport trade body has warned.

The Vehicle Restraint Manufacturers Association (VRMA) has written to the Government claiming the extra weight of banks of batteries in electric cars means “out of date” safety barriers on British motorways are at risk of being breached by an impact.

The group, which represents British manufacturers of road safety equipment, says design standards for barriers are failing to keep pace with the Government’s commitment to promote electric vehicles.

Avi Benlolo: Terrorist-backed Al-Quds Day demonstrations have no place in Canada

In the heart of Toronto, a dangerous event is set to unfold once again: Al-Quds Day, an annual rally held on the last Friday of Ramadan rooted in the extremist ideology of Iran’s Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, which calls for the destruction of Israel. What might appear to some as a political demonstration is, in reality, an event driven by a foreign terrorist entity — the Iranian regime, a state sponsor of terrorism that bankrolls groups like Hezbollah and Hamas. This rally does not promote peace or dialogue. It is a direct attack on Jewish people, their right to self-determination, and ultimately, on Canadian values.

Mama Hezbollah attended Al Quds Day at Queen’s Park over a decade ago.

Our elites hate us. The Islamists they imported are their Storm Troopers.

Nothing will ever be done about this criminal act.

Three Muslims with ‘political and religious motivation’ lured Israeli DJ to Welsh farmhouse and tied him to a radiator but were caught after he freed himself by sliding along pipe

Three bungling kidnappers lured an Israeli musician to a remote cottage in Wales with financial, political and religious motives, a court heard.

Faiz Shah, 23, Mohammad Comrie, 23, and Elijah Ogunnubi-Sime, 20, carefully planned the kidnap of Jewish composer Itay Kashti who described the ordeal as ‘my own personal October 7.’

Falsely claiming to be a Polydor Records executive, the three friends invited Mr Kashti to a music event which would be attended by music producers and other musicians.

We want to live in America’s 51st state: The Canadians pledging their loyalty to Trump

To many Canadians, talk of joining the United States is simple apostasy, but for some the idea is appealing

On the sunlit porch of a farmhouse in the Canadian province of Alberta, Don Casselman planted his feet, gripped a laminated document and began to read aloud.

“I hereby declare an oath that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all fidelity to any foreign prince,” said the former industrial electrician, facing towards a Star Spangled banner gaffer-taped to a pole.

Around his neck, Mr Casselman had thrown another American flag – and he tugged it carefully into place before pledging his loyalty to the government of the United States.

US expels South Africa’s ambassador, saying he hates Trump

South Africa

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said South Africa’s ambassador to Washington is “no longer welcome” in the United States.

Rubio, in a post to X, also accused diplomat Ebrahim Rasool of being a “race-baiting politician” who hated US President Donald Trump.

In his post, Rubio linked to an article from the conservative US media outlet Breitbart, which commented on remarks Rasool made Friday during a South African think tank’s webinar.

According to Breitbart, Rasool said that white supremacism was motivating Trump’s “disrespect” for the “current hegemonic order” of the world.
