Among the rubble of Black Lives Matter Plaza

So, rest in power, Black Lives Matter Plaza. Mayor Muriel Bowser has at last caved to Republican pressure and is overseeing the renovation of the stretch of Washington’s 16th Street NW leading up to the White House ahead of the US’s 250th anniversary next year.

Demolition of the plaza began Monday near Lafayette Square, where BLM protesters were cleared using tear gas in June 2020, and in front of St. John’s Episcopal Church, where an arsonist started a fire in the basement during the protest. These events sparked Bowser’s decision to create a permanent plaza there in solidarity with their cause — protesting the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis a week earlier — and in resistance to then-President Donald Trump.

The State’s ‘Treatment’ for Mental Illness? Death

In the United Kingdom, Labour MP Kim Leadbeater’s trainwreck assisted suicide committee is making daily headlines as the pro-euthanasia majority votes down safeguard after safeguard. Safeguards have been rejected for those with disabilities; for those with suicidal ideation; for the homeless; even for those who may not be able to fully give consent (a safeguard mandating that the victim must have capacity “beyond a reasonable doubt” was rejected 15-8).

Euthanasia activists promised that the path to a lethal injection would be narrow with high guardrails and intermittent checkpoints. Leadbeater’s committee is creating a virtually unpoliced four-lane highway with no speed limit.

Dylan Mulvaney’s creepy fantasies of girlhood

Great news, everyone: Dylan Mulvaney has finally figured out how to piss like a woman. After much observation in the ladies’ loo, he twigged that ‘peeing from a vagina sounds different than a penis’. ‘Vagina peeing is quieter’, he says. Keen to mimic these wondrous hushed tones of the female urinator, our trans hero sits on the toilet, tucks his knob between his legs and aims its contents at the bog’s ‘porcelain sides’, thus muffling the splashing noise us fellas normally make. Well, ‘I’d hate for my penis peeing to be the thing that blows my cover’, he writes.

Oregon selects a trans-turtle and a trans-meteor to sit on a ‘mental health advisory board’

Thought the leftist “gender” madness had reached a fever pitch? I mean, we’ve got classrooms of “furries,” teachers and government officials aiding children to access irreversible “gender” drugs and surgeries without parental consent, and dozens of “genders” already, so it’d be understandable if one considered this the end of the crazy line.

No, Canada! Why we don’t want the Great Woke North as our 51st State

Imagine you had a woke lunatic living in your attic.

Someone who contributed nothing to the household — beyond barking politically correct slogans — and yet expected full bed and board.

You might hear him or her (or “them”) stomping around late at night, yelling “Trans women are women!” or “Defund the police!”

And the next morning they’d be down with their hand out, expecting breakfast and pocket money.

UN judge ‘exploited and abused’ woman she forced into slavery, court rules

Lydia Mugambe slave owner, UN judge

A UN judge has been convicted of forcing a young woman to work as a slave who she “exploited and abused”.

Lydia Mugambe, 49, took “advantage of her status” over the victim in the “most egregious way” by preventing her from holding down steady employment and forcing her to work as her maid and to provide childcare without payment, prosecutors said.

Mugambe, who is also a high court judge in Uganda, was found guilty on Thursday of conspiring to facilitate the commission of a breach of UK immigration law, facilitating travel with a view to exploitation, forcing someone to work, and conspiracy to intimidate a witness after a trial at Oxford crown court.

Migrants Terrorize Spanish Town Over Imam’s Eviction

The historic Catalan town of Salt has suffered two consecutive nights of riots following the arrest of a sub-Saharan imam. He had been evicted from a house he had illegally occupied for five years without paying rent. In response, immigrant groups and radical left-wing activists have vandalised property, attacked the police, set fire to dumpsters, and damaged urban infrastructure.

Police chief’s apology over offensive podcast doesn’t go far enough: CIJA

OTTAWA — Deleting a problematic Toronto police podcast that saw uniformed TPS members praising the Oct. 7 terror attacks for increasing converts to Islam doesn’t go far enough to heal the rift with the city’s Jewish community, an advocacy group warns.

In a letter to Toronto Police Chief Myron Demkiw from Michelle Stock, Ontario VP for the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs (CIJA,) merely deleting the offending podcast doesn’t address why police brass approved it in the first place.

Our elites hate us so much they imported a murder cult.

It’s not going to get better. Things only ever get worse where Islam is concerned.

Saskatoon closer to ‘sanctuary city’ for sexual minorities, transgender residents

A growing call to make Saskatoon a “sanctuary city” for sexual minority residents has taken a major step forward, after a municipal committee recommended declaring it a safe city for queer communities.

Supporters say the term “sanctuary city” may not be appropriate in Canada, given its origins in US politics, but stress the importance of making all sexual minorities feel welcome and protected.

Trump’s Big Bet: Americans Will Tolerate Economic Downturn to Restore Manufacturing

President Trump’s simultaneous trade wars with Canada, Mexico, China and the European Union amount to a huge economic and political gamble: that Americans will endure months or years of economic pain in return for the distant hope of re-industrializing the American heartland.

It is enormously risky. In recent days, Mr. Trump has acknowledged, despite all his confident campaign predictions that “we are going to boom like we have never boomed before,” that the United States may be headed into a recession, fueled by his economic agenda. But in public and private he has been arguing that “a little disturbance” in the economy and the markets is a small price to pay for bringing manufacturing jobs back to America.

America is a very resilient nation making economic recovery a matter of sooner rather than later.

Ross McKitrick: Carney to lead Canada after trying for years to defund it

Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre is very concerned about financial conflicts of interest that new Liberal leader (and our next prime minister) Mark Carney may be hiding. But I’m far more concerned about the one out in the open: Carney is now supposed to act for the good of the country after lobbying to defund and drive out of existence Canada’s oil and gas companies, steel companies, car companies and any other sector dependent on fossil fuels. He’s done this through the Glasgow Financial Alliance for Net Zero (GFANZ), which he founded in 2021.

There is no humanity in his carcass.
