Hollywood luvvies have become Donald Trump’s useful idiots

Selena Gomez Loves Illegal Alien Murderers and Rapists

In events that were foreseeable to anyone outside America’s cultural elite, the actress and popstar Selena Gomez is facing an online backlash to her now-deleted Instagram post decrying Donald Trump’s immigration policy. The offending video featured a sobbing Selena, who has Mexican heritage, wailing into her phone camera that ‘all my people are being attacked’ and that ‘I wish I could do something but I can’t’. It was a performance of such histrionic hamminess it’s little wonder Miss Gomez missed out on an Oscar nod for Emilia Perez.

Tom Mulcair: Three reasons why the Liberals won’t want to delay the next election

Opposition parties have been working on the assumption that the Liberals will be seeking a way to extend the life of their minority government once their new leader is chosen.

That assumption may be dead wrong.

Canada will likely be heading into an election right after the Liberal leadership race. The “natural governing party” won’t be waiting around for the opposition to decide the election date. The countdown towards the next vote will begin the minute our new prime minister gets sworn in.

I can’t see the Liberals giving up their planned Trump Tariff Slush fund without at least some time at the trough.

Liberals open to recalling Parliament if opposition parties want to pass tariff relief, minister says

Why Canada’s old playbook for Trump 1.0 won’t save us this time

Trump’s tariff threats have provoked an existential crisis along with a cacophony of reactions from coast-to-coast on how best to deal with it. Aside from Alberta Premier Danielle Smith (and now Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe), the assumption that retaliatory action is required is going unchallenged among politicians. This consensus view draws from the successes of Canada’s approach last time around – but the problem is that the approach that worked the last time likely won’t work today.

How Trump Should Address Bias in Artificial Intelligence

Last Tuesday, President Trump announced plans for billions of dollars in private-sector investment to strengthen artificial intelligence infrastructure in the United States. The initiative underscores his commitment to maintaining American leadership in AI research and industrial innovation. The Trump administration still faces many pressing questions about how to navigate the expanding influence of artificial intelligence. Chief among them: Are large language models (LLMs)—from OpenAI’s ChatGPT to Google’s Gemini—politically biased? A growing body of research suggests that they lean left. In my own studies, I have found that LLMs are more likely to use terminology favored by Democratic lawmakers, propose left-leaning policy solutions, and use more favorable language when discussing left-leaning public figures compared with their counterparts on the right.

Communist China’s ‘Sputnik Moment’: Do Not Let Communist China Dominate Nuclear Fusion’s Clean Energy

This is no time for complacency. Communist China’s DeepSeek, a breakthrough in inexpensive AI computing that rocked US tech markets this week (tech investor Marc Andreesen called it a “Sputnik moment“) is really a wake-up to the Trump administration. Call to form a Manhattan Project as soon as possible – this week! – to ensure that America stays competitive in what is sure to be the next breakthrough – which China is already developing: unlimited amounts of totally clean energy produced by nuclear fusion in donut-shaped reactors called tokamaks.

Trudeau Government Left Canada Vulnerable to Foreign Interference, Report Finds

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s government was “insufficiently transparent” about foreign interference in Canadian politics and sometimes took “too long to act” against attempts to meddle in the country’s past two general elections by foreign powers including China and India, a government commission said on Tuesday.

“Trust in Canada’s democratic institutions has been shaken, and it is imperative to restore it,” the commission said in its final report, which summarized 18 months of hearings, testimony and examination of classified intelligence documents.

Sunny Hostin Scoffs at Woman Burned to Death By Illegal Immigrant

There was a disturbing display of heartlessness on Tuesday’s episode of The View as ABC News co-host Sunny Hostin scoffed at the story of Debrina Kawam, the 57-year-old who was burned to death on a New York City subway on New Year’s Eve by a criminal illegal immigrant. She demanded Americans ignore such instances of illegal immigrants killing people and “care and the stats and the facts” that supposedly show they’re peaceful. She proclaimed this after saying America “lacks empathy” for illegals.

Canada must urgently fix flawed immigration security rules

Hamas support rally Toronto

… In another case, Mahmoud Mohammad Issa Mohammad v. Canada, a convicted terrorist managed to drag out his deportation battle 26 years. Mohammad – a member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) convicted of taking part in a deadly attack on an Israeli plane at Athens airport in the 1960s – lied about his identity, his criminal past, as well as his ties to terrorist organizations. Kenney told reporters at the time “This case is almost a comedy of errors, with delays, with a system that was so bogged down in redundant process and endless appeals that it seemed to some that we would never be able to enforce the integrity of Canada’s immigration system and deport this terrorist killer.” Authorities cited Mohammad for misrepresentation on multiple grounds, yet he still managed to remain in Canada for decades. The threat of misrepresentation is a significant security concern. Thorough screening is crucial to ensure that those admitted do not pose security risks, given their possible affiliation with groups involved in violence or other activities that threaten national safety.

King involved in ‘woke’ name change of Agincourt submarine

King Charles was involved in a decision to change the name of a new royal submarine from HMS Agincourt to HMS Achilles, a move that was branded “woke nonsense” by former defence secretary Grant Shapps, the BBC has been told.

The name change was announced this week, and followed reports of concern within the Ministry of Defence that the original name for the vessel may have offended the French.

Agincourt refers to a battle England won against France in 1415, as part of the Hundred Years’ War.

Canada can avoid U.S. tariffs with swift border action, Trump commerce pick says

U.S. President Donald Trump’s nominee to run the Commerce Department, Howard Lutnick, said on Wednesday that Canada and Mexico can avoid Trump’s threatened 25-per-cent import tariffs if they swiftly act to stop allowing fentanyl and illegal immigrants into the U.S.

Lutnick told a U.S. Senate Commerce Committee hearing that the tariffs were separate from a broad effort by the Commerce Department, the U.S. Trade Representative’s office and the U.S. Treasury to review trading relationships and tariffs by April 1.

You’ll Love What Tom Homan Said About Joy Reid’s ICE Raids Meltdown

Tom Homan is easily becoming one of my favorite Trump appointees. In addition to his effective enforcement of our nation’s immigration laws, he’s 100% unapologetic about the work he’s doing.
