‘First Buddy’ Elon Musk given office in White House complex

Elon Musk has been given an office in the White House complex for his department of government efficiency (Doge) in the latest sign of his closeness to Donald Trump.

The SpaceX founder has reportedly been assigned space in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, which is next to the main White House, the New York Times has claimed.

Mr Musk, who is so close to Mr Trump that he has been dubbed the “First Buddy” by Lara Trump, the president-elect’s daughter-in-law, is still said to be in discussions about what level of access he will have to the West Wing and how formal his position will be.

What Are the Current ‘Safe’ Liberal Seats Amid Decline in Polls?

The Liberal Party of Canada appears to be on the verge of another historic defeat and it remains to be seen whether a new leader can influence current voting predictions.

As it now stands, the Liberals are veering toward a repeat of their worst showing of 2011, when the party went from 77 seats down to 34. If the “wave” was orange in 2011, with the NDP forming the Official Opposition to Stephen Harper, the Conservatives look poised for a blue wave in 2025 to form a majority government.

As Midnight Strikes, Garland Releases Jack Smith’s January 6 Report on Trump

And the media were ready to amplify the proclamation that Trump ‘would have been convicted.’

Remarkable how harmoniously the legacy media can belt out a tune, even one that suddenly breaks out after midnight.

Just kidding, of course. There was nothing spontaneous about the public issuance of Biden-Harris Justice Department special counsel Jack Smith’s report on the January 6 (J6) case — the 146-page Volume I of his two-volume final report on the investigations of now-president-elect Donald Trump. Smith’s media megaphone was prepared for its publication in the wee hours after lapsing of Judge Aileen Cannon’s temporary restraining order — that order being the reason that the second tome, Smith’s Mar-a-Lago (MAL) report, remains under wraps.

Pete Hegseth Makes The Definitive Case Why He’s Qualified To Be Trump’s Defense Secretary

During his Tuesday Senate confirmation hearing, Pete Hegseth provided his best case yet on why he’s the perfect man to be President-elect Donald Trump’s defense secretary.

Speaking before the Armed Services Committee, the Army veteran noted how the “the primary charge” given to him by Trump was to “bring the warrior culture back to the Department of Defense.” He subsequently detailed how he intends to make the Pentagon into an agency “laser focused on warfighting, lethality, meritocracy, standards, and readiness.”

Bitter Kamala refuses to give J.D. Vance and his young family a tour of the vice presidential residence

It looks like Kamala Harris’s classy streak is over.

For awhile there, we thought something had changed in her when she graciously certified the 2024 election in the Senate and put on a decent appearance at Jimmy Carter’s funeral. It seemed like a politically smart way of distinguishing herself from bitter Joe Biden and preserving her political viability.

The Hamas Surrender Deal

After a Pearl Harbor or an Oct 7, the only ‘deal’ that could be considered with the perpetrators is their absolute surrender. Hamas however took hostages to force an Israeli retreat.

That’s what a ‘ceasefire’ always was.

How Bob Dylan fought the proto-woke

He refused to be a Leftist prophet

The American birthright entails both the freedom and often times the necessity of making yourself up from scratch. Many of America’s most famous heroes were self-made men, from Benjamin Franklin to Andrew Jackson and Abraham Lincoln. The same is true for the protagonists of America’s best-loved tales, from Huckleberry Finn to Jay Gatsby. Where Europeans defined themselves, both individually and collectively, through bloodlines and attachment to the soil, Americans defined themselves through a shared freedom from the past and an accompanying licence to roam.

Where Americans were born and who their parents are has always been much less important than how they greeted the present moment, with one eye fixed on the road ahead and the other on the stars. Walt Whitman’s great “Song of Myself”, written in 1855 and unfolding over 52 stanzas, including accounts of sea battles and slavery, mentions not a single word about the speaker’s parents, or even what their names were.

You know who will cheer the death of DEI? The working class

The boss class’s diversity initiatives were a knife in the heart of workplace solidarity.

So, is it RIP DEI? The boss class’s favourite ideology certainly seems to be in trouble. Big business everywhere is rethinking its devotion to ‘diversity, equity and inclusion’. As part of his coming out as a pretty standard tech bro who bristles at woke and loves Joe Rogan, Meta boss Mark Zuckerberg has said DEI might be for the chopping block. He even instructed his minions to take the tampons out of the men’s bathrooms at Meta HQ. Expecting people who menstruate to use the ladies’ loo? Guys, this is big.

A Tale of Two Democrat Cities

The two largest cities in the United States are Los Angeles and New York City. Both are dominated by Democrats and, last week, both provided excellent case studies in negligence and corruption. In the City of Angels, dereliction of duty by municipal officials has caused 40,000 acres of residential and commercial property to go up in flames. In the Big Apple, a corrupt district attorney and a politically compromised judge set fire to the credibility of a once respected legal system. If it seems farfetched to connect these events, consider that 27 of the 30 largest U.S. cities are controlled by Democrats who have raised maladministration and lawfare to art forms.
