Is It ‘America Alone’ In The Fight To Save The West From China And Islam?

Increasingly, countries that were once U.S. allies are aligning themselves with America’s enemies.

he signs were obvious two decades ago, and the insightful Mark Steyn—the conservative Canadian author—addressed them then. How will the war in Iran end? The scenarios explained

President Trump has threatened to send troops into Iran, raising the prospect of a full-blown regime change operation such as that which the US carried out in Iraq, and which he had previously promised to avoid.

Trump has sent conflicting messages since the start of the joint US-Israeli operation against Iran on Saturday morning, at times suggesting it could last just a few days and at others saying he is prepared to continue bombing for four or five weeks or even longer. His interview with the New York Post on Monday was the first time he had raised the possibility of “boots on the ground”.

What Iran means for Putin

Multipolarity is a disaster for Russia

As the Middle East lurches toward wider war, Vladimir Putin finds himself confronted by the terrifying reality of the world he has always demanded. Now, that order might have arrived, but the system taking shape is not creating a stronger Russia. Instead, it reveals an increasingly isolated and weakened state — one that, if the history of Putin’s rule is anything to go by, might see the Kremlin turn toward even further domestic repression and foreign confrontation.

When it comes to the U.S., here is why Doug Ford should let others do the talking

“I’m going to be on the phone full steam, and later on, do a U.S. trip,” Premier Doug Ford told reporters at Queen’s Park on Monday. The Toronto Sun responded with its trademark headline treatment: “Doug, you’re not helping,” warning his CNN appearance risked inflaming an already bad situation.

There’s no doubt Premier Ford’s plain speaking makes for good television. But he must walk a fine line: advocate for Ontario’s interests, yes, but without handing U.S. politicians an excuse to dismiss Canada’s case as foreign meddling. On Monday, on Wolf Blitzer’s Situation Room, he crossed that line.

Western Governments Are Surrendering The Public Square To Islamists, Literally

In cities across the West, the pavement has become a stage for a specific, assertive religious claim.

On Feb. 20, Times Square was filled with men kneeling shoulder to shoulder on prayer rugs for Ramadan’s nightly Taraweeh prayers. New York City’s most famous intersection, a place meant for commerce and tourism, had become a place for religious ritual, as it has since 2022.
