Inside an extortion deportation case: The arsons, auto frauds and shootings linking crime across Canada

When Edmonton police arrested Arshdeep Singh for shoplifting at West Edmonton Mall last November, they launched an investigation that ultimately put the young Indian national at the heart of a network believed responsible for the extortion crisis plaguing Canadian communities.

Singh’s phone held a cache of images and messages linking him to an arson in Ontario, a shooting in Edmonton, extortion cases in Surrey and auto theft and insurance fraud in the Lower Mainland, Alberta and Saskatchewan.

There was even a photograph of Singh alongside the alleged “prime conspirator” behind a series of extortion-linked shootings at a Surrey café.

A picture is quickly emerging of a community that was failed on multiple levels by mental-health services and law enforcement. Now that the dust has settled, it’s time for an independent investigation into how this tragedy happened in the first place, in the hope that changes can be made so that something like this never happens again.

Reform Pledges To Deport 600,000 Illegal Migrants in Five Years

Reform UK’s shadow home secretary, Zia Yusuf, said on Monday that the damage done by open borders policies pursued by the “cowardly” establishment parties is “profound.” But, crucially, “they are not irreversible.”

He announced a range of new measures aimed at ending “the invasion,” perhaps the most noteworthy of which is a pledge to deport “over 600,000” illegal migrants during the party’s first term in office. That would amount to 120,000 removals every year for five years.

Bill C-9 to protect indigenous sacred sites including unmarked graves under new hate crime law

Sean Fraser – almost certainly lying if his mouth is open.

A federal hate crimes bill would extend criminal penalties to anyone accused of obstructing indigenous sacred sites — including areas identified as unmarked graves — according to an internal Department of Justice memo that was not highlighted when the legislation was introduced.

This is called covering up a crime scene.

China’s ‘Magic Weapon’ Reaches Deep Into America and the West

In 2023, the FBI arrested two Chinese-Americans, Lu Jianwang and Chen Jinping, for operating a Chinese police station in Manhattan. Chen pleaded guilty and faces up to five years in prison for acting as a Chinese agent, while Lu, who has connections to Chinese authorities, pleaded not guilty and is awaiting trial. He faces 20 years for obstruction of justice.

According to the Department of Justice (DoJ), the police station was established to monitor and intimidate Chinese dissidents in the U.S. What is concerning, however, is that this is not an isolated case of serious infiltration. Nor is such activity limited to the U.S. alone. Safeguard Defenders, a Madrid-based NGO, has identified 102 Chinese police stations in 53 countries.

CJNG Decapitation Strike Mirrors 2019 Operation Targeting El Chapo’s Son — 25 dead as Mexico pays blood price for not blinking

JALISCO – On the morning of October 17, 2019, the Mexican state tried to arrest a Sinaloa Cartel boss and lost. Soldiers cornered Ovidio Guzmán — son of El Chapo — in the city of Culiacán, cradle of Mexico’s most powerful cartel. Within hours, thousands of gunmen in military-grade body armour and AK-47s flooded the streets. Buses and cars were seized and torched to block every route in and out. Family members of soldiers were taken hostage in their own homes. Barrett .50-calibre rifles were trained on government buildings. The Mexican Army, facing a city on fire, released Ovidio and retreated. President López Obrador called it a humanitarian decision. His critics said the cartel had shown it could bring the Mexican state to its knees.

Finally, a police officer has stood up to Islamic sectarian bigots

Is it legal to preach Christianity in London? Apparently, the answer to this question isn’t obvious – at least to some residents of Whitechapel in east London.

Last week, a truly depressing video emerged. It showed a young, female Metropolitan Police officer, surrounded by Muslim men on a street in Whitechapel. They demanded to know why a Christian preacher, proselytising outside the nearby East London Mosque, had not been arrested.
