Vote for Mayoral Candidate Who Will Build ‘Millions of Homes,’ Poilievre Urges Torontonians

Just over two weeks before Torontonians head to the polls to elect a new mayor, Conservative Party Leader Pierre Poilievre is urging city residents to vote for a candidate who will “build millions of homes” in order to bring down sky-high real estate and rental costs.

The Tory leader didn’t name any candidates, but noted that he would allocate federal funding to municipalities if he is elected prime minister in the future.

That would be a relief, Toronto has been stiffed by Ottawa regardless of who was in power.

The Annecy attack has exposed the moral depravity of our elites

Why are they always more worried about the potential ‘backlash’ to atrocities than the atrocities themselves?

Four toddlers are fighting for their lives right now. Two adults, a mother and an elderly man, are also in hospital in a critical condition, following a brutal stabbing spree in Annecy in the French Alps. On Thursday morning, the suspect, a 31-year-old Syrian refugee named as ‘Abdelmasih H’, rampaged around a park playground, knife in hand, charging at terrified children and parents, even slashing at a baby in a pram, until he was apprehended by police just four minutes later.

Mystery of Lake Maggiore spy boat sinking gets ever murkier

Why were 21 Italian and Israeli intelligence on the Gooduria when it sank in a freak storm and left four people dead? Almost two weeks on, ‘crazy’ speculation is rife

A metal bracket poking out of the water of Lake Maggiore near the “OK” campsite is now the only visible sign of the sunken pleasure boat that took four passengers to their graves and sparked an international spy mystery.

Watching from outside his tent while grilling sausages, Marco, a call centre operator from Germany, said: “My children have been watching people trying and failing to raise that boat for days.”

It was the ignominious end to a saga involving a skipper caught out by a freak storm on an Italian lake and suggestions that the Italian and Israeli spies on board his boat were on a mission to stop Iran building nuclear missiles.

Climate change didn’t cause Canada’s wildfires

Lightning has been starting forest fires for millennia

Is the hazy stuff out there smoke billowing down from Québec, or hot air emitted from smoggy-brained politicians and journalists? Chuck Schumer told the Senate on Wednesday that the smoke drifting over the Eastern Seaboard was caused by climate change. Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez said it showed the urgency of going greener faster. Proof of carbon pollution, lectured the Canadian minister of the environment. A stark reminder of climate change, intoned Biden.

Disney’s Little Mermaid flops in China amid racist backlash over casting

McDonald’s in China apologizes for sign banning black people amid coronavirus

The poor performance of Disney’s The Little Mermaid at the Chinese box office has reopened questions on Hollywood’s increasing difficulties in the world’s second-largest economy and the role racism has played in the film’s reception.

The live action remake has grossed just $3.6m (£2.9m) since its release in Chinese cinemas on 26 May, according to Box Office Mojo.

We Are Jews Against Soros: It is not anti-Semitic to say that he is evil.

George Soros is an evil man. In fact, he is one of the evilest men currently shaping American and Western politics, and global events more generally.

To straightforwardly opine in this manner is not to traffic in anti-Semitism or noxious Jew-baiting. It is simply to share one’s perspective about one of the most influential political donors, “philanthropists,” and social activists in the world — someone who doles out countless sums to undermine and reshape in his dystopian image entire countries, spreading across at least five separate continents.

Funeral home director allegedly guns down pallbearer during burial of 10-year-old girl

A D.C. mother was trying to bury her 10-year-old daughter after a shooter killed the child on Mother’s Day — but a deadly shooting carried out by the funeral home owner interrupted her burial service, police and the mother said.

The mother of Arianna Davis, Antionette Belk, said the shooting at Washington National Cemetery on Tuesday killed a family friend, injured a family member and prevented her from seeing her child’s casket get lowered into the ground.

Special Crony David Johnston Quits

David Johnston resigning as special rapporteur on foreign interference

David Johnston — tasked by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau back in March with looking into allegations that China tried to meddle in the past two federal elections — says he has decided to step down from that role.

In a resignation letter sent to Trudeau, Johnston said his role has become too muddled in political controversy for him to continue.

“When I undertook the task of independent special rapporteur on foreign interference, my objective was to help build trust in our democratic institutions,” the former governor general wrote.

It’s difficult to read his resignation without smirking. Try as he might to come off as a noble man wrongly smeared as a Trudeau hack and ChiCom useful idiot it just doesn’t pass the smell test. Well it does if you like the aroma of rancid Egg Rolls I guess.

Johnston was hired for one reason only; To run cover for the China Class of which both he and Trudeau are members.

These puppets willingly danced to Beijing’s tune.

Even a cursory glance into their backgrounds turns up the stench of their grift.

Taqiyya: Iran Actually Boasts About Deceiving the West in Nuclear Talks

The Islamic doctrine of “taqiyya,” dissimulation, permitting Muslims to deceive non-Muslims to advance the cause of Islam, is back in the news. In a speech delivered on May 20, 2023, Iran’s Supreme Guide, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, according to a report …

“set out to explain and clarify the principles and standards of ‘a successful foreign policy’ focusing on three keywords: Honor, wisdom, and expediency.

“Khamenei… used the Islamic concept of ‘Taqiyya’ to describe the regime’s decision to accept the 2015 JCPOA nuclear deal with the West. Taqiyya means the permissibility to deny or conceal one’s real beliefs to secure a worthy goal….”

Diaspora groups join calls for public inquiry on foreign interference

A day after embattled special rapporteur David Johnston defended his approach to investigating foreign interference before a parliamentary committee, multiple Chinese Canadian diaspora groups say he should have consulted them and are calling for a public inquiry.

“Mr. Johnston’s report is a huge disappointment,” said Gloria Fung, president of the Canada-Hong Kong Link, during a joint news conference with other diaspora groups organized by the Bloc Québécois.

Bloc Québécois Leader Yves-François Blanchet said Johnston has failed to reach out to the diaspora organizations.

So long as it’s not the Xi Jinping Admiration Society.
